Quack nQuack know I was here and posted once this morning but the board seems to have eaten it. Jan thought she was making some headway on healing when I talked to her yesterday afternoon. She is still hoping trip is possible but was depressed yesterday.. Last two weeks can be heck waiting sometimes. Long to me so short for Jan.

Just sitting here singing San Francisco to myself thinking of all there is to see and do.

19 days, YIKES! Lots to see what I have to do before the cruise!

Prayers continue that Jan will be able to make the cruise, but if she isn't able to start eating soon...

Good Afternoon Everyone :)

Stopped the cleaners earlier to drop off two pair of slacks that needed hemming so I can wear them this trip. Wish I could fly in to SF earlier then Tues the 11th but with Alex starting school the day before I need to be home to sign paperwork that he is sure to bring home.

Will probably ask Alex to bring down the suitcase from the shelf in closet after the 1st. With a full house I have no where to set up a packing area by my room and so it needs to wait a while longer.

Well that is all the news from this DIT. quack quack

Mary Ann, that was lovely. Thanks. Having grown up in SF and then living and working there as an adult, I think of it in terms of SF, THE CITY I LIVE IN. But then, a video like that really reminds me of how lovely parts of the city is. We used to have a "shotgun" flat on Union street, a few blocks from North Beach. Directly outside our window was a head on amazing view of Alcatraz. I would forget it was there until someone would come over and say WOW!!! and I would remember again how much I loved living in Baghdad by the Bay!

Quack Quack so happy to be on page one of tracker. Someone might think we were going someplace if they walked thru our house. Paw's cases open on floor of liiving room 1/2 full. Mine open on back bedroom with clothes hanging from anything I can hook a clothes hangar on.. I have the little things not needed next 2 weeks already folded and put in. Wearing the white sneaker around house I washed to make sure don't have anyplace rubbin feet and toes.. Just enjoying a quiet Saturday here. What is happening in your side of Duck Pond?

Just got home from work. Looks like a storm coming. Maw, people come into my house and want to know what is all the ducks for. Joe & I have things spread out it seems everywhere. As I think of something I need to take it gets put on the dinning room table. This packing sure has been a challange.
Going to just take it easy for the evening then back to work tomorrow.

Everyone have a good weekend.
QUACK! QUACK! QUACK!

Ha ha... I'll wake up in the middle of the night and turn over, and as I fall asleep I'll think of another duckie thing I need to pack, so I'll spring up, run through the house in the dark, grab it, throw it on the suitcase in DD's old bedroom, and then go back to bed and sleep blissfully...
