Good afternoon, Ducks, Ducklings and DITs, from central Joisey where it's a partly sunny 81 degrees.

Sis, I would have snagged it, but we went out to lunch today....I took two of my co-workers to our favorite Burger joint! :)

Now all I want to do is take a nice nap. Maybe I'll close my office door and everyone will think I'm working feverishly in here!:p

Hope everyone has a nice & safe day! :thumb :thumb

Hello everyone in the Duck Pond. :) I've been lurking a little too much and not enough gabbing. Judi - I've been trying out that game site. I am not good at word games though. :( Too bad Pogo type games aren't offered. :lol I'm going to keep trying to earn tickets slowly but surely. I can't imagine earning as many as you did. What's the secret?

Yep, jk, I'm REALLY ruined right now and I don't want to go home! I would move here in a flash if the cost of living was cheaper. The job is already available, and this would be a good company to work for. I think all I could afford to live in here would be a cardboard box.

Maureen, we have been playing too. We have just hit 1000 points. I can't imagine hitting 43,000! ! ! ! Thats going to take a while! :lol :lol But I am going to keep plugging away. I need the airmiles!

Good morning, Ducks, Ducklings and DITs, from central Joisey where it's a partly cloudy 61 degrees.

Maureen and Tobyn, and anyone else who's interested, I play the high-point games. They go in the following order:

1) Flexicon - maximum 25 points
2) Chicktionary, Spelling Bee, Word Slugger - maximum 20 points
3) Seekadoo - maximum 15 points
4) Clink - maximum 10 points

I'm not sure about the point value of the rest of the games. You're allowed somewhere around 1,000 points per day.

I've cashed most of my points in for Delta SkyMiles, so I'm back down to 250 points!

A suggestion to anyone who wants to play and get FF miles in one of the programs.....each time you reach 4300 points, redeem them for the FF miles. As I mentioned earlier, it takes 3 weeks or so before they hit your FF account.

Hope everyone has a nice & safe day! :thumb :thumb

Oh I cant take the stress :lol. Lovebug's baseball team was down 4-1 and her team brought it back 7-5. Boy what a game. This is a National League. They play against other suburbs and these boys are good for only being 10 years old. I am so proud of her. Sorry to brag. Hopefully Mother nature will cooperate as her next game is Sunday.

Everyone have a great weekend.

Suer - that is stress for sure!! I know you all were on the edges of your seat. Yikes!! Good luck to Lovebug , I hope they go all they way!! Batter, batter, swing!! :)

To those of you playing the game....what is this word game you are playing and can I have the link?

We had a lovely evening last night at a friends pool, ordered pizza's, and drank vodka and pomegranate juice. Yum! Right now I am getting ready to make a ricotta cheese cake, and then get ready to leave at 1 pm to drive 4 hours down into Tennessee for a funeral. Be home sometime late this evening.

Tomorrow - ricotta cheese cake eating time. My sister makes the Best cheese cake I've ever eaten, and I tried to get her to have a Throw Down with me...like Bobby Flay's show...but she wouldn't do it. I guess she's afraid. :lol

Happy Saturday DDD's

Good morning, Ducks, Ducklings and DITs, from central Joisey where it's a sunny 79 degrees.

We're heading out with DD and DGD to go to Trader Joe's. DD shops there all the time and we just want to go see what it's like. I'm figuring we'll be luck to get out of there for under $100....organic stuff is NOT cheap!

Hope everyone has a nice & safe day! :thumb :thumb

Howdy Ducks and DITS....been a lazy Saturday here so far....all the kids and grandkids are out of town so nothing planned with them. Still sitting here in my jammies :lol

Judi, I love Trader Joe's....we have one in DC near the office but none down here where we live. I can't carry too much stuff home on the commuter van but love to buy some of that $2 Buck Chuck when we drive in.

Getting excited for our Alaska Recon cruise with Maw....called her this morning and chatted. We are down to 28 days :dance

Not much else happening...everyone enjoy yourr day.

Tobyn, I hope you're not on United Airlines. It ties with Northworst. They stuck us in Denver last night. We seem to have problems with United and Denver, and it always happens to be on the way home. AARHGGGHHH! At any rate, I hope you're going somewhere NICE.

Good afternoon everyone. It is finally ducky weather down here in Atlanta. It has rained 4 out of the last 5 days and we will get a break for a couple of days theN rain for 3 or 4 more days. We really need the rain so its all good.

I have 60 plus days until my cruise on Mariner OTS and am getting excited about it. I made online ressies for Chops and Portofino's last night. I am dining at Chops for my birthday on Sept. 20th. so that ought to be fun. I will then be 2 years away from a senior discount!

Well, gotta go and finish my baby back ribs that I am cooking in the oven and then will broil them to finish them off in the oven because it is raining too much to grill out...well really because the grill is out of gas....lol.

Talk at ya'll later. QUACK QUACK

Good morning, Ducks, Ducklings and DITs, from central Joisey where it's a drizzly 68 degrees. We're supposed to have rain/storms all day long....great weather for ducks!

We lost a dear Friend over the weekend. I'd known him all my life as he was a close Friend of my older Siblings. Coincidentally, he became a close Friend of my FIL's and his one Son and Michael were best Buddies growing up. Talk about a small world. He was part of the, "Good Ole Boys Breakfast Club." For those of you who don't know, a group of retired farmers and hunters get together every Saturday morning to solve the world's problems over wine...yes, I said wine...and breakfast. They've been meeting for well over 20 years now. Michael started going when his Dad lost his eyesight and couldn't drive anymore. They range in age from 51 to 86 years old. They're a great bunch of guys!

Our Explorer Canada cruise is only 87 days away. I guess I should start thinking about what clothes I'm taking. It's after Labor Day, so white is out. I just hope I have enough "fall" color clothes!

Hope everyone has a nice & safe day! :thumb :thumb

Good morning everyone in the duck pond. Sorry to hear about your friend Judi. When my Dad passed away, he had belonged to many organizations and we listed as many as we knew in his obit. At the end we included "and the Saturday morning breakfast club". Friends didn't know what the heck it was. My Dad, brother, and some old men would meet every Saturday to eat breakfast in a small greasy spoon diner and gossip. I know my Dad would crack up if he knew we'd include that tidbit of his life in his obit.

I like Trader Joe's. We had Chicken and Tortellini for dinner last night that I bought there. The have great sweet potato chips and Pita Chips. My family likes the herbed pizza crust but I find it a bit messy.

Hope everyone has a nice duckie day. :D
