Good afternoon, Ducks, Ducklings and DITs, from central Joisey where it's a partly sunny 78 degrees.

I'm back.....how does one know if she passed a stress test??!!?? :S :S :S :S :S

We left here at 8:30 and didn't get home until 1:00.

I didn't get any chest pains, but I did get winded.

Hope everyone has a nice & safe day! :thumb :thumb

Got the HOTEL Alert announcing the LARGE Convention that is in San Francisco the same time we are for the Duck Cruise.. and The INN being "closed" for so many..Thanks so much Dear Momma Duck..!!!

Mark was like uh Huh as usual there WAS a valid reason to chomp Up and Down me to get this done ASAP..:grin
=cheerleader...I win Double points.
and am even more grateful we have a confirmed reservation..I detest being taken to the cleaners because we waited too long..:(.. he has learned that it is pretty inevitable to try to bargain me OUT of this kind of Travel decision It may also have something to do with the airfare wars I have waged and won on better pricing 330 days out versus "thinking the prices are sure to drop"...=eek ..if we " wait just a little while longer"..

you can bet your Bippy that ASAP for airfare ...I'm going to lock that in too..Happy pre cruise travel savings shopping Dear Ducks and DIT'S .. it's going to be a heck of a cruise..:jump..:grin..Joanne

Ahoy Duckies,

Please be sure to check your e-mails about my hotel alert. This would appear to be the convention in question - Mama Duck is always on the alert for her Duckies, Ducklings and DITs.

Thanks Evie and Calgon...boy where did the time go to from those helmet head days LOL.

All this talk about hotel booking and what not....I am getting awfully anxious for the old countdown clock to speed up. Seems like I am always wishing my life away, LOL.

We are getting the remenants of Fay here in VA...much needed too. We had a nice soft steady drizzle all day yesterday and it seems to be coming down a bit harder this morning. Had to force Georgie and Buck out the door this morning.

Anyone have big weekend plans? It's an extra long one for me since my "Friday Off" is tomorrow. Leatherneck decided to work from home tomorrow instead of today so. We are staying close to home this weekend....don't want to fight that I-95 traffic. We do have dinner plans with friends on Saturday night. We "might" take the boat out with DD Mindy and family on Sunday. DD Jacquie and family are going to VA Beach and DD Jenny is working. This will be the first time Leatherneck and I have been out in the boat all summer. Thankfully the kids have been getting some use out of it this summer. Taking it out all depends on if SIL Kyle gets the trailer lights to work....it didn't pass inspection. Leatherneck wanted to just take it to the shop but Kyle feels he can get them working....time will tell, LOL.

Hope everyone has a good holiday weekend and play safe.

Thanks for the heads up Mamma Duck, I just reserved a room at the Holiday Inn express. I am planning on arriving Monday.

Looks like Fay is finished with us here in the Atlanta. It is finally sunny here this morning. I am watching the weather closely for the next 2 weeks. I don't need a hurricane or tropical storm in the Orlando area in a little over 2 weeks time.

Hope everyone has a great day and a great long weekend!

We're also booked at the Holiday Inn Express/Fisherman's Wharf. Yes, more expensive that HIE at the airport, but not that much more when figuring in the negative time and cost of the daily R/T on BART and with the positives of being with the flock and much closer to the happenings (Whoa, now there's a word from the 60's/Hashberry scene) ...

HIE for us as well! ! ! WOO HOO ! ! ! Nieciez, I hate to wish my life away also, but I definitely looking forward to seeing everyone again, and meeting a few new folks!

We are going to enjoy a long weekend here. Friday is a training holiday for the soldiers, so we took the day off since there wont be a lot going on.

Have a great day and a better weekend everyone.

:wave we are booked in HIE as well.. we got the reservation on Sunday as well for now.. since we are playing with the FF free Mile fairies..=shrug.. if it works we got the room for 3 nights for now... depending on what we get for airline tickets..MUCH easier to have to cancel a night versus to GET an extra night.. :( witness the HUGE Computer Convention in that week, and rooms blocked out already.. ) so if I cancel the 3rd night that's fine..
so in a couple weeks as the airfare opportunity opens up we shall see.. does not matter where we all land , it's going to be groups, sub groups, and all kinds of connecting with folks, as we all get "our want wants".. of assorted @ddicts filtered in to have a To Do list..

it's still a must of for IHOP, Johnny Rocket's and Ghirardelli's , oh and a must see AGAIN of "my"..:lol..my Sea Lions as they clamber on the docks!! and the list will more than likely get longer in a few short months..:grin....:jump..Joanne

Looks like HIE at the Wharf will be a happening place HOT! I missed getting a ride on the Cable Cars the last time so that is on my must due and I'd like to go to Napa this time...the tour we took went only to Sonoma....I am anxious for the air rates to open up!

Good morning, Ducks, Ducklings and DITs, from central Joisey where it's a partly sunny 80 degrees.

I had to make a quick trip to the Dentist this morning....one of my caps came off. I'm convinced that I'm destined to have tooth problems forever!!

Monday, we have the distinct privilege of going into the city to have brunch on the brand new ms Eurodam......we can't wait to see her.

Hope everyone has a nice & safe day! :thumb :thumb
