Poor pooches and kitties. ! The fact they're not allowed aboard the ship might also present an obstacle!

BSea Bob is infamous for ducky intrigue...

If you and Gordon are taking the train...hmmmmmmm. I could ship the already ordered Hawai'ian ducks to you, perhaps???

Yup, if we do take the train consider that a done deal! Of course, I have to check what their baggage limitations are. I know weight wise it's 50 lbs, but I'm not sure as to number of suitcases. Or is that going to be a huge box? We'll figure it out (in a year or so!)

I'm surprised you already ordered it. Now you have to store it at your house? I would think that by now, you and boxes are not good friends...

I'm reconstructing a very long and comprehensive review I wrote of my Zaandam Circle Hawai'i cruise in 2008. It was lost in one of the Board crashes, but I found it quite by accident awhile back. If anyone wishes to read it, please email or PM me. I hope to have it finished by Sunday.

Someone inquired about the use of hotel beaches in Honolulu. This is from friends of mine who live in Honolulu:

All our beaches are public. However, the beaches fronting the hotels
usually have towels, umbrellas etc. which are only for hotel guests.
In Honolulu, I will be happy to make the facilities of the Tower
where we live available to your group. We are two blocks from
Ala Moana Beach Park and next to the shopping center. Your clients
can enjoy the beach, take a shower here and go shopping at the Center!

These friends of mine, whom I've known for many years, hosted a lovely party for another of my Circle Hawai'i groups a few years ago for the evening the ship overnighted in Honolulu, and they offered to do it again for this group if you would like. Very casual, very pleasant.

The Hawai'ian Islands ARE beautiful, Earl. Thank you for commenting. All but two of the photos were taken by me.

Glo - glad you like the photos. As for my friends, they're regular, down-to-earth folks just like you and me. But they happen to live in Honolulu! SIGH!!!

My nephew lives in Pukalani. Sigh... I'll have to check with him and see how far away they are from Honolulu. I suspect it's an island away.

Ha ha, Mary Ann, you might as well be speaking Eye-talian! I've never been there, and really don't know much about the islands. Yet...

Glo...make sure your nephew knows you are visiting Maui and that you would like to see where he lives...and all that surrounds Pukalani. Upcountry is my favourite part of Maui!!!

Great photos Mary Ann....almost makes me want to book along with all the other Ducks!!
