I would suggest that those who are booked, or thinking of booking, to to

www.gohawaii.com

which is the official site of the Hawai'i Visitors and Convention Bureau. The site has LOTS of interesting information, especially for a first-time visitor.

You can order, free of charge, the Official Visitor's Guide...

The Official Hawaii Visitor's Guide & Map | GoHawaii.com

I highly recommend doing so, and just meandering around the site in general when you have time. We have plenty of time before the cruise, but there's nothing like whetting your appetite!

Glo - what's known as "Upcountry" on Maui is ascending Haleakala, the 10,000+ ft. dormant volcano on the island. Pukalani is not far from Kula, where there's a fabulous lavander farm that is becoming more and more well-known.

Beryl - although I know your love is Maui, you are more than welcome to join us on the cruise!

I just read your review, it would be a dream come true if we were able to go. So beautiful
the pictures and your review of the Hawaian cruise you took a few years ago.
I order the offical book that you recommanded. We will see next year!!

Earl - I look forward to meeting you next year aboard the Amsterdam, and also hope, perhaps, things will work out that you can join us on the Zaandam in 2013.

I'm glad you enjoyed the Review.
