4 Relaxing Beach Vacations That Make the Perfect Complement to a Cruise

If you love feeling the sun on your skin and the sand on your feet, you will feel even better if combined with a cruise. Imagine getting off your ship and spending a day exploring a beach. You can enjoy the tropical drinks and picturesque scenery of some of the world’s most breathtaking beaches.

Whether you like a laid-back day at the beach or seeking adventure on a new beach, you are sure to get your needs met at the beach. There are many activities you can participate in and enjoy yourself.

Crane Beach, Barbados

After being on the cruise ship, you will love spending time on Crane beach. You will be impressed by this beach, especially the sand, as it is one of the most beautiful pink sand beaches in the world. Be ready to take lots of pictures and enjoy the remote atmosphere. If you are not a great swimmer, you should not swim in the waters as they are choppy.

There are cliffs near Crane Beach, and if you enjoy taking hikes, you should take a guide and spend some time enjoying the climb. At the top of the cliff, you can gaze upon the turquoise waters. If you are not a fan of that, you can rent chairs from the resorts on the beach and enjoy the food and drinks that are available in plenty.

Matira Beach, French Polynesia

This beach is located in Bora Bora, famous for its crystal clear water and soft sand. The beach has a lot of eateries and shops where you can eat to your fill and buy souvenirs for yourself, friends and family. They also offer a great opportunity for you to meet with the locals and learn about the area.

If you are not looking to socialize, you can find a good spot to lay down and relax. Although the beach is popular with many people, you do not have to worry about it as it does not get overcrowded as you would expect. You can also go on an island jet tour at an affordable price. The downside is that you cannot snorkel as the waters are shallow. You can still enjoy swimming.

Disney Vero Beach Resort, Florida

This resort was established in 1995 and offers an elegant old-fashioned escape that you will love. The Disney Vero beach resort is two hours away from Walt Disney World Resort, so if you want to go there, you can, depending on how long your cruise ship has docked for.

One of the best times to visit this beach is when the sea turtles are nesting. Avoid that time if you do not want to interact with many people.

You can participate in many activities, including biking, pool games, tennis, and football. The resort also has a community hall that has many indoor games. If you are afraid of swimming in the Atlantic, you can dip in the mickey mouse shaped swimming pool.

Elia Beach, Mykonos

Mykonos is one of the most famous islands in Greece. It is gorgeous and has delicious food and amazing drinks. However, it is most famous because of the nightlife. You will likely meet a movie star or some celebrity on Elia beach. The beach has a long stretch, and it is a little windy; however, you can rent chairs and umbrellas.

Many people are moving to this beach compared to other beaches on the island, making it less relaxing. However, you can still enjoy yourself by swimming and jet skiing. If it is your first cruise, you may enjoy yourself and forget to return to the ship on time, so be careful. Elia beach has a gay section where clothing is optional. People prefer this beach as it is very friendly. Plenty of public transport is available if you want to explore other parts of the island.

Cruising is one of the best ways to explore the world. You get to dock in different places and enjoy what the islands offer. It is better to know the islands you will dock at ahead so you can plan for your activities on the beach.
