MSC Cruises has revealed its New Year’s Sale today, which will kick off the 2024 Wave Season with sailings starting at $279. Cruisers who take advantage of the deal will have the opportunity to sail to breathtaking destinations worldwide onboard MSC Cruises’ award-winning fleet, from the beautiful beaches of the Caribbean and The Bahamas to the breathtaking historic cities of the Mediterranean.
“With demand continuing to rise for cruising and travelers actively planning their 2024 vacations, Wave Season is the perfect time to get a great deal on a cruise before prices increase. This year, MSC Cruises has more ships and itineraries sailing from ports in the U.S. than ever before. This Wave Season deal invites travelers to try our amazing, innovative ships and enjoy the unique and memorable experience MSC Cruises has to offer, while giving loyal guests a fantastic way to save on their next cruise. Cruising is already a huge value compared to land-based vacations and with value-adds like an all-inclusive drink package, Wi-Fi, kids sailing free, and a credit to use on board, the savings are even greater.” said Suzanne Salas, SVP of Marketing & E-Commerce, MSC Cruises USA, said:
Now through January 15, guests can book a cruise vacation starting at $279 with an Easy Plus Drink package and Wi-Fi for up to two devices per stateroom included. Plus, kids sail free! Here’s how the savings stack up:
A family of four booking an interior cabin for a quick 3-night getaway aboard MSC Seashore sailing from Port Canaveral this spring would save just over $600 compared to booking the cruise at full price and adding the extra amenities on their own.
That same family planning a dream vacation a year from now in the same type of cabin, with 7-nights aboard MSC Seascape sailing from Miami, would save more than $1,600 compared to paying full price.
On top of those savings, guests will receive up to $400 Onboard Credit (depending on cruise length and cabin type) to spend on specialty dining, shopping, spa treatments, and more.
This deal is available for sailings to the Caribbean and North America, the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, and the Southern Caribbean, departing now through the end of the winter 2024-2025 season. Offers will apply to a range of ships, including MSC Cruises’ five ships sailing from U.S. ports – MSC Seashore, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Seascape, MSC Magnifica, and MSC Divina, with the latter three all sailing from PortMiami.
Highlights of Caribbean sailings available as part of the Wave Season offer include:
7-night Eastern Caribbean sailing on MSC Seascape from Miami, visiting the white sandy beaches of Nassau, The Bahamas; San Juan, Puerto Rico, renowned for its historic buildings and charming Spanish colonial facades; Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic with whimsical waterfalls and stretches of pristine coastline; and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, MSC’s private island in The Bahamas, where guests can dive into a restored ecosystem of coral reefs and enjoy an array of relaxing beaches.
3-night sailing to The Bahamas on MSC Divina departing from Miami and visiting Nassau and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve in The Bahamas, allowing guests to escape the cold and enjoy a short getaway to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
10-night Western Caribbean sailing on MSC Seashore from Port Canaveral, visiting Nassau before spending two days at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve; stopping in Costa Maya, Mexico; and rounding out the trip with a visit to Cozumel, Mexico, before returning to Florida, allowing guests to take an extended break enjoying the sunny shores of the Caribbean.
As a global brand, MSC Cruises also offers outstanding itineraries worldwide, including on its newest ships, MSC World Europa, sailing in the Mediterranean, and MSC Euribia, sailing in Northern Europe.
Highlights of sailings on MSC World Europa and MSC Euribia included in the Wave Season offer include:

If you have ever been on a cruise, you probably already know that many offer casino gambling. While cruise ship casinos might not be as large as your typical land-based venues in gaming space, they still usually offer a full range of casino games, including slots, blackjack, roulette, and more.
There might be a misconception about the entry barriers for cruise ship casinos – some may believe they come with hefty financial requirements. However, the reality is quite different. Generally, these entry requirements are quite reasonable, making them accessible to those wishing. They often mirror what you’d find in your typical land-based casino. Of course, there are some luxurious cruise casino tours. Still, it’s crucial to recognize that cruise operators, like their land-based counterparts, incorporate gambling into their offerings because it is an exceptionally lucrative venture. It’s not about exclusivity; it’s about providing an engaging and profitable aspect to the overall cruise experience.
Even though spinning slot reels and partaking in your favorite table games can be loads of fun, it can also get expensive. Such is the nature of gambling, especially in a cruise environment when gambling can be one of the most popular things to do. However, there are ways to increase your chances of coming out on top. This isn’t to say that adhering to the following tips guarantees success. Instead, it will help you maximize your chances of winning while minimizing potential losses.
It doesn’t matter if you plan to gamble online at one of the casinos from https://bstcasinos.com/ or if you plan to do it on the high seas. You must establish a budget. In other words, how much can you comfortably afford to lose? You have to be disciplined enough to stick to that budget. You don’t want to find yourself tilting and chasing losses. Not only is this an effective way to compound your losses, but it may also mean you might not have enough money left to pay for other planned activities.
Consider the Game’s Volatility
A game’s volatility lets players know how often they can expect to win. If you play a low-volatility game like blackjack or baccarat, you can reasonably expect to win frequently, although the payouts you receive will be relatively small. On the other hand, highly volatile games, like many popular slot games, pay out less often, but they give players a shot at winning substantial amounts of money. So, would you rather experience the rush of winning smaller pots more often or bigger payouts less frequently?
…And the RTP
A game’s Return To Player, or RTP, should also affect your decision. If you see that the RTP for a certain game is, say, 96%, then it means that the game returns an average of $96 for every $100 wagered. If the game’s RTP is 90%, it pays an average of $90 per $100 wagered. RTP is by no means a guarantee. It is just an average that is calculated over thousands of rounds.
Casinos online and on land are famous for offering great deals like cash bonuses and free spins. If your cruise ship’s casino offers any casino credit, you should take advantage of it. This will provide you with some great added value. Many cruise ship casinos also offer loyalty rewards that can net players various benefits like free drinks, retail items, and cashback on your losses. Just make sure to understand all the terms and conditions attached to a bonus offer because, in some cases, the wagering requirements can be substantial.
Don’t Know How to Play? Ask Someone
Norwegian Cruise Line Casino
While dealers are primarily tasked with keeping the game going, you will find that the overwhelming majority will be too happy to explain the rules and basic strategy to you. Even though some casino games are a little more complex than others, they are usually very easy to understand. The important thing is that you know what you are doing at the table. If you don’t, there’s a good chance you will lose money.
In conclusion, casino gambling is just one of the many engaging activities cruise ships offer. It just happens to be among the most popular ones. The cool thing about gambling aboard a cruise ship is that you don’t need to be an experienced gambler to have a good time. Cruise ship casinos are among the best places for beginners because the dealers and floor staff are usually accommodating and friendly.
Still, the truth is that most gamblers leave cruise ship casinos with less money than they had when they walked in. While every gambler’s goal is to win and win big, it rarely happens. This is why knowing how to minimize your losses is so important. Following these five tips will go a long way toward doing just that.
It’s a widely known fact that our emotions can make a huge impact on our daily lives, isn’t it? How you react to a situation when you’re happy or excited is a different experience than your angry or frustrated self. But did you know this feature plays a huge role in your gameplay, as well? Let’s break it down for you!
If you ever ask a pro player the best tip for winning at the casino tables, you’ll surely hear keeping your cool. Think of it: It’s the only thing you can control in the gambling setting, and with this simple arsenal, you can strategically win most of your poker games at GGbet Casino site. We know you’re gearing up for a seamless gambling experience, aren’t you? So, let’s put you on the best path to controlling your emotions.
Since you stayed with us, you must be eager to learn how psychology affects poker and all that good stuff. We’ll get into that in a moment. First, let’s briefly introduce the exciting world of poker for the fellas in the back who are new to all this.
This exciting card game requires a combination of all the tools in your kit, especially skill and strategy. You’ll also need to keep your game face on, and that’s another place emotion plays a role. Poker requires a clear mind because you’ll have to make split decisions based on the game’s flow and the mathematics involved. Are you shocked? Yes, this casino game requires some maths, so pull out that old algebra note or not.
What do you think are the common emotions you are likely to experience during your gameplay? Check them out:
The thrill of excitement. If you love the idea of a good bluff, and you’re good at this (it takes practice!), you’ll feel excitement a lot, especially when you can outsmart your opponent or when you’re dealt a good hand from the start;
The dreaded frustration. It’s not always rosy, even for the best players. When you’re on the cusp of a loss or an opponent plays a move that threatens your next play, you’ll feel this. Trust us when we say you can hardly avoid it;
The heat of anxiety. When the game gets tense and the different emotions come out to play around the table, you’ll probably get anxious as you await the next move: the turn of the tide;
The burn of anger. Things can go wrong, whether because a player bests you fairly or unfairly. It could be because you made a silly move and lost the game. You could get furious.
Whether positive or negative, every emotion should be hidden during your gameplay. Why, you may ask? Because it’s a dead giveaway for your ensuing actions. Act too happy or excited, and a skilled opponent could get a fair idea of your hand. Act frustrated, and it could be used against you with taunts and jabs to make you lose your grip.
Worse still, your excitement could cause overconfidence, a terrible emotion in poker play, leading you to overestimate your hand and take unnecessary risks that could cost your entire bankroll. Frustration and anger could make you chase losses because you’ve been bested, negatively deviating from the strategy you had when you started playing.
Strategies for Emotional Control
We believe that you must have taken some things away from all our ramblings about emotions and the psychology of poker. Now that you fully understand the importance of having emotional control and letting it lead your gameplay, let’s give you some strategies that can help. Surely, you didn’t think we’d leave you hanging!
Set clear goals: There’s nothing more important than this. Okay, maybe your skills and strategies are just as important; you decide. By setting realistic goals, you’ll avoid getting disappointed or annoyed when you lose. Remember, the chances of winning and losing are equal;
Pre-game routines: We see athletes do stretches before they get into competitive spirit, and who says gamblers can’t do the same? Prepare a routine to follow before every game. This can be mindfulness, breathing exercises, or visualization;
Take breaks: The mind can be flawless only during limited periods of time. Take regular breaks to keep your mind rejuvenated and ready to make the right decisions at the right time.
All-In on Emotional Mastery
There is a reason why poker is often regarded as the superior card game in casino settings. The slightest show of emotion could cost you the pot, even if you’ve been in the lead since the start of the round. Winning doesn’t come easy, but it’s possible. How do you get there? By practicing your gameplay, strategies, and poker face! Learn to bluff your way through it all, and remember to reign in your emotions. They are the window to your soul, or in this case, your strategy!

In this section, we delve deep into the multifaceted facets of this industry, spanning from the potential pitfalls to the social and economic trials faced by host destinations. Additionally, we explore the critical domains of responsible gaming and sustainable tourism.
One pivotal concern within the realm of casino tourism revolves around the potential downsides it may entail. These encompass issues such as problem gambling, addiction, and the broader societal impacts that may emerge from excessive gaming. Striking a harmonious balance between entertainment and responsible gaming is a complex endeavor, necessitating cooperative efforts from both the industry and host destinations to safeguard the welfare of individuals and communities.
Socially and economically, host destinations can grapple with unique challenges when accommodating the influx of tourists attracted to casino attractions. These challenges may encompass strains on local resources, heightened demands for public services, and the need to navigate the cultural and societal impacts that can arise due to the dynamic nature of the casino tourism industry. Ensuring that the benefits are distributed equitably and that they contribute positively to the long-term prosperity of all stakeholders becomes a pivotal mission.
Nevertheless, the path ahead is illuminated by the twin principles of responsible gaming and sustainable tourism. Responsible gaming initiatives aim to mitigate the adverse consequences of gambling by advocating for safe practices and providing support to those affected by gambling-related issues. Simultaneously, the adoption of sustainable tourism principles seeks to ensure that the industry not only enhances the experiences of visitors but also actively promotes the well-being of local communities and the preservation of the environment.
By acknowledging and actively addressing these multifaceted challenges and by wholeheartedly embracing the principles of responsible gaming and sustainable tourism, the casino tourism industry can chart a more conscientious, inclusive, and enduring course. Waving from the newest Fun Ship, Santa Claus swapped his sleigh for the day so he could help deliver Carnival Jubilee – the first brand new cruise ship to debut in Galveston, Tex. Carnival Cruise Line’s new flagship, which dons a Texas Star on its bow, was welcomed home with a grand water salute as she docked at Galveston Wharves’ Terminal 25 for the first time.
The official debut of the 26th Fun Ship in the Carnival fleet signals the start of a significant expansion strategy in Galveston, which has grown among Carnival’s top homeports since the company became the first cruise line to operate there year-round more than two decades ago. In addition to bringing Carnival’s most innovative and dynamic entertainment and dining offerings, the ship will now significantly expand capacity from the port. Carnival Jubilee joins Carnival Breeze and Carnival Dream at the port as part of a four-ship deployment plan that will be complete when Carnival Miracle repositions to Galveston next fall.
“The Texas star on her bow isn’t just decoration, it’s a symbol of our gratitude to our guests sailing from Texas who’ve made us the number one cruise line in Galveston, and our commitment to the future of cruising from this great city and state,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line. “When we cut the ribbon to welcome our first guests on this ship this weekend, we’ll be celebrating the beginning of a new era of operations here.”
Along with bringing the first roller coaster on board a cruise ship to Texas, Carnival Jubilee will also usher in the use of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) in Galveston. Enhancements were made at the port to accommodate the use of LNG and additionally, Carnival’s decision to deploy the new ship at its Texas homeport generated a $53 million investment in terminal improvements. In a Dec. 20 column, The Galveston County Daily News described Carnival Jubilee as a significant addition to the port and said, “The fact Carnival is willing to base its newest, biggest asset in Galveston is testament to the port’s standing in the industry and further evidence that past investment in cruise facilities was, and more investment would be, prudent.”
“The terminal, which has been home to Carnival ships since 2000, has been renovated top to bottom, inside and out. From a new roof, expanded dock and exterior colors to new interior finishes and furniture, the terminal has a fresh, new look,” said Rodger Rees, Galveston Wharves port director and CEO. “We are happy the time has come for this historic event and honored to host this beautiful, state-of-the-art ship.”
Carnival Jubilee
Now, Carnival Jubilee’s 1,750 team members are preparing to welcome more than 6,000 guests aboard for a maiden departure on Saturday. The ship is set to sail on a seven-day Western Caribbean cruise, visiting Mahogany Bay as well as Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico. The ship will continue sailing week-long cruises year-round.
