Just heard.
Know you guys are heartbroken. Also know Mama Duck and Pucci the Wonder Dogger are going to bat and will get this mess straightened out. Also that HAL will make it right (after a few gentle nudges from Queen Quack).

Just please be patient. A lot goes into putting the pieces together from a full ship charter, especially a 14 day specialty cruise. Working this out will take awhile.
A similar length cruise next year aboard Zaandam in Asia on which I had Clients was also chartered! It all worked out in the end.

Earl - we face pleasant situations as well as distasteful ones. The latter don't happen too often, but it's part of our work. This won't be resolved overnight (it hit the fan unexpectedly this afternoon), but we'll be doing our best to protect everyone's interests.

Lisa - thank you. Glo - I don't know. As I said in another note, the news about the charter leaked out far earlier than it should have. TA's weren't even notified. This probably will take months to resolve.
If all those booked will please be patient (as I know you'll be), be assured we'll do everything possible in your best interests. I know we're all disappointed - no other itinerary really compares.
