Ho Ho Ho, and a bottle of Rum,
Santa has run off to the Carribbean.
With Vixen and Blitzen he's playing Steel Drums,
Drinking Margaritas and sunning his buns.
He needs a vacation, he could sure use the rest,
This Holiday Season has put Santa to the test!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

I have 2 crazy questions: as you all know, I don't celebrate Christmas, but what are the names of all the reindeer??? In terms of the Jingle Bells song, what is a "One Horse open sleigh"? Santa rides on a sleigh pulled by reindeer, right?

Anyways, MERRY CHRISTMAS again!!!!

Merry Christmas Big Cats!!!!

Dan is it for religous purposes why you don't celebrate xmas? Look up the song rudolph the red nosed reindeer it lists all the reindeers.

I am jealous you are cold and almost snowed in, we are sweltering here at 80 degrees it sucks, makes you want to pack up and head to alaska...lol

We celebrated with Julie's family on Sunday and then Monday we stayed in with my sister and had a mini xmas. Tuesaday I did a xmas breakfast in your jammies and all the girls came and we had so much fun. We drank plenty of mimosa and ate really good.

Tuesday night we had Dee and Doris back for dinner, seems all we did that day was eat...lol

All in all it was a really nice xmas with our mixed family.

I wish you all nothing but love, friendship and prosperity for this new year. I hope we get to travel or see each other soon.

Happy belated Christmas Big Cats,

Anne went back to work today and Arrielle / I are roughing it at home in our 55 degree temps! Sheree, we wouldn't mind seeing the snow for one day...just one day!

Christmas went without a hitch. We did Christmas eve with my family and then spent the next day just the three of us...peace and quiet! We went out yesterday, Anne likes to look for tree ornaments we just can't bring ourselves to pay full price for prior to xmas. Surprisingly though, Anne didn't buy a single decorating item this year. We pretty much just exchanged a few things and then came back home and watched movies for the remainder of the day.

Dan...jingle bells makes no mention of Santa, nor his reindeer. Read the words.

I am Jewish, That is why I don't celebrate Christmas!

George, I know Jingle bells doesn't mention Santa and his reindeer! I just don't know how or what a "one horse open sleigh" looks like!!! I am just being weird that's all!!!

Hi guys - just a quick hello. I had a message from Barb, again asking us for prayers for her mom. She went back into the hospital on Christmas with pneumonia and an infection. Please keep them in your prayers. I'll post more tomorrow.

Good morning all,

Barb, sorry to hear your mom is back in the hospital, especially on Christmas day. We will most certainly keep her and your family in our thoughts and prayers. Please keep us informed as to her progress.

No problem Dan, figured the link would remind you. The snow reminds me of my younger years in Worcester, Mass. Obviously the date was considerably earlier than my time. The houses seem pretty modern for the early 50's.

Hiya Big Cats. Just Pirate Grumpus dropping by to say hello. By the post count it looks like you all are very excited about the Mariner cruise. We are too, it's funny how the LOST Pirates and the Big Cats picked the same ship & date and will be sharing a ship two years in a row. Hope to actually get to meet & spend some time with you all this cruise. Enjoy the Holidays!

Good afternoon all,

Grumpus, when did you all decide on this cruise? I'm gathering you have another thread going; I'll be sure to check in soon.

Got bored yesterday and checked flight, hotel and rental car pricing. The first is quite high right now, but the other two are quite reasonable. Is anyone planning on staying at the Raddison on Fri & Sat nights? We will go ahead and do the same if anyone has this in mind. Otherwise we will just stay close to the airport Friday night and drive down to the port early Sat morning. The Raddison has a $129.00 park/sail package for you locals. Airfare is not very good right now. I'm hopeful pricing wars will break out after the holidays.

Barb,
Sorry to hear about your Mom.. our thought and prayers are going your way.

Well the bus is comming along. we were stuck for a wile trying to figure out the timing....found out timing gear on the crank was on backwards. We found the fix for it and it is now running nice. we should be painting it in the next 2 weeks..I hope :) than the fun of putting it all back together but that shouldn`t take to long. Everyone here is doing well.

Hi guys - just checking in after a long day! It all started after a 3:50am phone call from my mother in law to let me know that my niece had the baby at 3am. Then I had to be at the firestation at 7am to meet with Greg so we could drive to western Ohio with the in laws for his aunt and uncle's 50th anniverary brunch. We came home, took a nap, and then went out for dinner and pretended it was New Years eve since Greg has to work on the real New Years eve.

George - we are planning on doing the Radisson just Saturday night. I plan to drag Greg around Orlando all day Friday (stopping at CrisDee's, Bealls, picking up beverages, etc.), then we are planning on dinner at the Ale House before getting a good night of sleep and heading over to the Radisson on Saturday. Do we even have to discuss dinner Saturday night, or are we just going to plan on meeting at Grills? And if we meet there, do you the Orlando girls (ahem, are you listening Cris, Dee, Julie and Doris? Yogini?) want to drive over for dinner?

And should we all make a resolution to post more once January rolls around? We've all been busy over the holidays, but should try to pick things up in January?

Also, hi Grumpus. It's quite the coincidence that we'll be on the same cruise at the Pirates again this year!

Ok - hope everything is well with everyone else! Sheree

Happy Mew Years Eve Everyone..

The "O" girls would love to come meet you all for dinner, just tell us where and when...

Nothing much happening around here for NYE, I plan an hanging by the pool this afternoon with a martini and a book. It is 80 degrees here today. We are expecting 55 by Wednesday which is when we are going to Disney for my Birthday. Dee's family is in with her nephews and we are all heading to Magic Kingdom to spend time with the mouse....lol

Barb, I pray all is well with your mom. I know this must be a very trying time for you. Just know no matter what happens God is in control and will bring you all through this ordeal.

I love all of you guys and I pray for a safe, healthy and prosperous new year for all of us.
