Almost couldn't find our post.....it was 6 down!

So Greg got his Jeep back, fixed, and he's happy with the work. But, in the last week, we've been contacted by 11 attorneys, and 3 chiropracters. Greg was not injured. The man who hit him was a nice man who did not flee the scene, gave an honest police report, and had good insurance. Apparently the lovely "ambulance chaser" type attorneys scour the public accident records, and call the victims. The whole issue is over and done with, yet these lovely opportunists must have to find business somehow. It's very annoying!

Hopefully I'll have job news one week from today.......Sheree

Good morning all,

It;s been quiet around here. We are 77 days out from our Mexico cruise. And while we are looking forward to getting away on any cruise, it's not the same as our annual pilgrimage with the Big Cats. We wouldn't even be doing this cruise if it wasn't for our Royal reward points. It's going to be odd doing 2 seven day cruises within 3 months of each other. We will be on the Vision of the Seas, which was the last ship built in the Enchantment of the Seas class. While it's certainly not one of the new monstrosities being built today, it's certainly no slouch either. I am looking forward to going on a class of ship I haven't been on. There's something about walking on a ship and having no idea where anything is. Sounds strange, but I like exploring a ship for the first time with no knowledge of the layout. That was the great thing about the Mariner, it was so unlike any ship we had been on.

Sheree, no newa this week?

Cris, are you all game for hooking up in Orlando?

The Vision is alot smaller as the Mariner! It was/is an older ship! The main dining room is 2 stories! It was okay!!! I can't remember all the info on it! I do remember that I was winning big in the casino and I won one of the categories in the sexy-legs contest!!!

Good news....the snow is supposed to stop after 8PM.

Bad news.....when it stops we'll have close to 2 feet on the ground.

Yes, we're under a blizzard warning (we can go years without that happening) and the snow is covering some of our smaller shrubs in the front yard. I am not going out today - Greg's planning on shoveling out and taking the Jeep out to play his nerd games. I think when he rolls his butt out of bed, he's going to change his mind.

I need a cruise......Sheree

Sheree, don't feel bad about the snow, my brother and his family lives in Wisconsin. They had 100inches of snow during the winter!!!

We went out to the grocery store around noon and we've been in the warm house since. Well, I've been in the warm house since. Greg has made two more trips out to shovel the driveway. He's on the couch after taking a couple of motrin..... He thinks we have about 12 inches on the ground from this storm, plus we still had about 4 from earlier this week. It's supposed to be ending soon, thankfully!

I need to see my ticker. It might warm me up.

Good morning all,

Regina, good to see your still with us. Stop lurking and start checking in and letting us know how you and Tommy are doing...not the same without you! Things have been slow, and with a notable exception for Dan, our jobs are the miserable culprit. Are the hours still out of control for yourself as Tommy told me?

It's supposed to be 84 here today....59 on Sunday...go figure!

I'm not sure if I wrote about this previously, but I am embroiled in a fight with Expedia.com over a refund they owe me for unlegible paper airline tickets they sent me. As an agreement, they re-issued e-tickets and charged me once again. Expedia.com stated Delta agreed to refund my money for the original tickets once they had been received by Expedia. The tickets have been returned, but it turns out Expedia never made any such agreement with Delta for a refund. Now I have been charged almost $2k for my tickets. Needless to say this has gone on for over a month now and I was amazed to learn on consumer sights how common practice this is with Expedia. Anywho, I have gotten the BBB and AZ / WA attorney generals offices involved. The BBB has been dragging their heels somewhat, but the AG offices have just contacted Expedia on my behalf and suddenly Expedia is jumping through hoops to make sure my refund is processed. I'll let you all know what happens.

Jim, Dee, Cris, Barb, Sheree....where are you?
