Hi All, I am having trouble doing when doing my cousins fun pass. I had no trouble doing mine. I am thinking that maybe the web sight is overloaded and won't take the information at this time. I will try later on this evening. I am starting to get down to serious packing now that I have the tickets in hand. I have been tanning for 2 months as I am so fair that there is no way I could sit out in the sun and not get burned to a crisp. Maryilyn, maybe I will see you in the casino. Do you play the slots or something else. Have you been to any casinos in Barbados or Martinque? I would like to go just to see what they look like.

I usually wind up just playing the slots.....
And yes, there are casinos in both St.Marteen and Barbados. I have not been to the one in St.Marteen, but was to the one in Barbados.
Well, less then 3 weeks and I am almost packed. And looking for another cruise for Feb. My friend and I celebrate our birthday in Feb, and this year decided to go cruising on our birthday. This is her first.cruise....

Ok, I've HAD IT with the "funpass"!!!! Tried logging on this morning & same ol' stuff. Maybe I'm a "subversive" and someone just forgot to tell me. I'll just fax my information to Carnival & hope for better luck.

If you cannot do it on line then just fax it into them and keep a copy. When they get it they will send you a copy showing you are registered.
Even if you did not do the above and could not get in I think you can do it at the port. Check out the below information that was on the sign in site.

The Department of Homeland Security requires that Carnival submit detailed guest information prior to sailing. By completing all the information on these forms no later than two days before departure, you will be satisfying all important governmental requirements and expediting your check-in process. Please have the following information on hand to facilitate the registration process.
Personal Information (full name, home address, home phone number, etc.)

Get your flu shots folks..........don't know if it's connected but the Legend was brought in early with what's it called........ the Noro virus??? Im sure they will scour everything but I would sure like to know where this dang thing came from.

These viruses are spread through direct contact. The best defense is to wash your hands frequently, especially after touching handrails, or any other surface which has been touched by others. Carry a bottle of hand sanitizer with you and use it often. Handshaking also spreads infection. I know this is bad news but buffets are great places to spread infection.

And make you sure that you drink lots of alcohol....it helps to kill whatever you pick up!!

Personally, I think the bottled hand sanitizer is a great idea. Last year my party & I were on the Conquest during an outbreak of Norwalk virus. It had been going on for a couple of weeks, so I knew ahead of time to bring some. On our cruise about 75 people got sick & we weren't allowed to serve ourselves from the buffet. Carnival employees were serving & they had on plastic gloves. Certain areas of the ship, like the library, were off limits for a few days. All of my party were very cautious about washing our hands & using the hand santizer & thankfully, we all stayed well.

Welcome aboard to Susie and her family!!!! Not long at all now! I'm winding business matters up the next week and a half for the year and trying to figure out what to pack! Yes, the hand sanitizer is an excellent idea! Im not going to be overly worried about it but make sure we take necessary precatuions. I don't know but I think it's a stomach thing and I just don't want Momster getting it.

If I left anyone else out again I am sorry, been busy trying to find a cruise for the early part of next year around Feb. My girlfriend and I share the same birthday month and this year we decided to celebrate our birthday on a cruise...(maybe find some single menLOL).
Cindi,Michelle,Flo,and all...I already got my Flu shot.....I always seem to come home with a cold after cruising....All the germs come thru the vents of the airconditioning, so I am going to try to stop them by spraying them with lysol(even tho that may not help) also spray knobs and everything in the room with the lysol. I also am going to bring (a suggestion from one of the other boards) to bring plastic pillow covers to cover the pillow.itself before the case is put on..Afterall we sleep on it and our faces breath the germs. I also bring air freshners to make the cabin smell good.

Well, I finally have some good news for a change. WONDER OF WONDERS, I was finally able to get my very unfun "Funpass" completed on the computer. It was really presenting me with a challenge as well as grief & aggravation. I talked to Carnival one more time & the nice gentleman I talked to told me I would also have to fill out "CAR" information as well as "Flight Information". It's amazing what one can accomplish when it's made clear what info they want. NOW, AT LAST, I'm getting ready to have some REAL fun, like packing & firming up plans for excursions.

I did the "funpass" this morning and there are some bugs in it that make it annoying but like it wouldn't let me change the phone number for my home on Momsters name so I just deleted it. It wasn't a "required" field and also when I put in information for my hotel it wouldn't let me put in the check in dates....... said they were invalid so I just showed that I would be parking in the pier lot and left the hotel info out. No big deal anyways but Im going to call my Carnival TA tomorrow just to go over things with him and make sure all is well. Cleaning house today so I can start packing tonight........UGH.

Good idea on the lysol and the pillow cases Marilyn......will put that on our list.

Hi all,

We received our cruise docs about six weeks ago. When we paid in full (over the phone) they asked if we wanted our docs and we said yes.

Registered on-line with fun pass and had no problems. Had to go through Carnival's US site instead of the Canadian one to do it. Made sure we added all of our past guest numbers (Destiny Jan 2000) so as to get the invites for the party and any other benefits.

Thought we were going to be alone in each of the ports but I have since found that the European Vision (Festival Cruise Lines) will be with us in St. Maarten (8:00 to 13:00 only). It's a smaller ship (58,700 tons & 1566 passengers) so I guess we can share the island with them LOL.

I purchased the plastic pillow case covers at K-Mart...They also carry them in all the dollar store out here.
Well going to Sawgrass Mall in Sunrise tomorrow for some last minute shopping. I am glad to say I have everything and am 99% packed. Only my captains night and cocktail nite wear is not in the suitcase. That I will put in the night before. We are working on my grandsons suitcase now and should be done with it by tomorrow....Then all my daughter has to do is hers and my son-in-laws.................16 days from tomorrow............................

LOL Chopper I suppose we can squeeze that tiny little ship in beside us Marilyn your killing me with this packing thing....... I've still NOT started I spent 8 hours cleaning the house yesterday and trying to get everything in order for the end of the year. I have bought some bling bling for the trip .........does that count for anything ???? LOL OMG since we are now leaving Lex. on the 13th that means I only have 12 (count em') before our adventure begins!!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE hOPE EVERYONE HAS A GREAT DAY!

I'm right here & was also wondering where everyone was. Just got my cruise clothes out of the cleaners & am really getting excited. Also, got my pre-cruise manicure & pedicure appointment. Has anyone ever had a facial in the ship's salon? I had never had one til a couple of months ago & I think it's about the nicest thing I ever did for myself. I was thinking of treating myself again on this cruise. By the way, no one will have a problem recognizing me on this cruise. I'll be the little old blonde deaf lady that coughs all the time. It's been almost a month since I had the flu & I absolutely cannot get rid of this cough & my stopped up ears. Not to worry, the doctor says I'm no longer contageous. It's just extremely annoying!!

Hey gang! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!!! Went out shopping with the Momster and only found some bling bling which I was in need of. I think I have enough dresses so we should be set. Now I just gotta make sure everything is set for the oxygen to be delivered and we will be fine! Gettin exciting folks!!!!

Hi There and welcome aboard. Just check the cruise message boards for Carnival on here and also on CruiseCritic.com and they have all kinds of lists to choke a horse. Some sound like you need to take your house along with you. LOL But there are things there that one wouldn't think of to take.
