By the way you do not have to play games to sit in the office. I just enjoy the company.. Something coffee, tea, cola or frozen thingy to refresh Sorry John never played pinocole but one time noticed no one ever invited me second time. mmmm Hearts, Spades, Pitch we were a game playing family as I grew up.

Nope John.. not me.. I am like maw.. complicated card games just take too darn long to train me :lol people tend to give up.

Maw, I found the rules on the internet this morning for that chicken game, and a few more.. :grin

have you ever played the card game "George"? that is a fun game, and unless you have the luck that Einstein had the other week..... usually goes fairly fast

I am game to learn any game. The rules for dominos I know were by word of mouth maybe I should go searching for the real rules too.

Speaking of table games.. Has anyone ever played BUNCO? It's a dice game that is very simple to play. It involves groups of 4 that rotate partners. I play with a group of ladies once a month and we have a blast. If anyone's interested I can bring the supplies.

I have played it years ago. But I am not so sure that we would ever get that many of us together at one time :lol

Maw, I will go by your rules.. that is the way we play Mexican train, and the card game "George" :)) we never got a rulebook.. I just went looking to see what the game was about. Don't mess with the way that you play it.

make sure that you have paper and pencils in that Office Bag of yours :grin

Have a good weekend everyone !!!!!!! We're off for the depressing job of closing up our summer place. The only good thing is its close to the cruise. Big reason why we always cruise the end of October. I hate the feeling that the Summer is truly gone. Talk to ya next week.

Suitcases are being brushed and swept out this morning. The house will become an offical wreck with open suitcases laying about. Time to look at that packing list again. Do really need everything on it? I know 1/2 the clothes double the money.

Now that the weekend ahs ended which usually brings :( to red's and my face it is a bit different this weekend as there is ONLY one more to go before we ALL hit the High Seas. :dance Suer are U planning on playing that card game in the covered pool area??? If so that could be quite a few shocked senior citizens. :grin red & I can sympathize with U John as we go thru the same withdrawal when the pool cover goes on. This year was especially difficult as the pool was closed earlier than usual becaus eof our trip across the BIG pond. So to say we can NOT wait til the next 12 days pass is a LARGE understatement.

The Maasdam is on its last cruise before we hop on board. It's a 14 day repositioning cruise from Montreal to Norfolk that left on Saturday. It stopped yesterday morning in Quebec and will be there until 2:00 PM today.
