PH - Just may get called to the naughty room...packing my box with wine....6 champagne, 6 wines...we'll see what happens...last time I was on the Mariner, October 2006, the same box and contents made it on board....tempting fate a little. Funny, my wine box is packed, but I haven't gotten around to my clothes...We all know where my priorities lie

Good morning! It's going to be a cleaning day around here. We're steaming the tile floors and cleaning the hardwood ones. That is, if Bert ever gets out of bed!!! Man, that guy can sleep!!!

Glad we went to Kris & Gary's last night. It made the evening easier and it passes quickly. Hardest part of the night was coming home and not having to take Shamrock out one last time. Ended up making a good STRONG drink while watching TV until it was time for bed.

Today is a new day and I'm doing better.

We had the furnace serviced this morning, getting ready for the winter..... even tho it is still fall.....

Need to go to the store this afternoon or in the morning........

Hi all......

Doctor day here.........we both had to go and of course,couldnt get appts the same time frame..........so first was Dennis at 10:45.........he has been battling an ear infection............got meds a few weeks ago,but it still bothers him............got a new rx and it cost $101!! I nearly croaked! a hundred bucks for ear drop??????????? Doc said if this doesnt work,its off to a ENT doc........

got outta there around noon..........dropped the rx off while we ate lunch.............came home and then I headed back alone while Dennis slept...........been having some pains in my neck that sorta concerned me.................turns out to be STRESS! He touched my upper back and said I can tell ya now what the problem is...........seems my muscles are way tight..........wanted to give me prescription strength advil or something,but I told him,thats ok................Ill just take the OTC stuff............that or a massage!! Funny thing is,he says exercising relieves stress but guess not in my case......................I did tell him I need to drink more.............(Ive only had 2 glasses of wine since our SS cruise)......................so now I have 2 bottles (thats my RX!!)

Hey BB------do you use a professional steam cleaner or the one like I have?? The little Hoover deal?? I want to rent a professional one for my tiles(if there is such a thing)............

Bill-thought for sure the "RAYS" had it last night...........whatta surprise.........

PH, that's my kind of prescription. Seriously though, I hope that you are able to work something out for your headaches....they're not fun. Maybe you need to do more stretching when you get back from your walk and workout.....anything that will stretch your upper back and neck. You can get one of those warm up in the micro hot pads and sit with it across your neck while you watch tv.

It's friday!!! Aimee's 16th birthday is tomorrow. We're going out for dinner tonight and having friends over tomorrow. Lots of hockey and such. Have a great weekend everyone.

anywho......................FIL calls me earlier............asks me if I know anything about the number 1298..........I said HUH?? He said he was looking at his cruise info online and saw they had a GS 1298...............I played dumb and said I dont know what you are talking about..........he outright asked me if we did that.........had to tell him the truth................they said we shouldnt had spent our money like that......told him they do so much for us...........

darn.we tried so hard to keep it a secret.............I even hacked into his account and changed the docs to edocs so they would get anything in the mail....................Oh well........................

NB------I bet I dont stretch enuf esp in my neck...............just my legs and back............I told the doc I was stressed cuz I wake up thinking I DONT WANNA WALK...........its the most boring exercise in the world.................

Missy gets terrible neck pains from stress and other stuff and the chiro does wonders for her.

Marcia - Got a hot date tonight? You called it quits awfully early today.

Finally got to Beall's this afternoon. I bought 2 Halloween tops - one for the cruise and one for a party next Saturday night. Also got some close toed shoes for up in Boston. The only other shoes I have are all sandals which I wear all year. Picked up a dressy top to wear on formal night with black slacks. Full price would have been $165. but between the discounts and a coupon I had, it cost me $57. including tax. I was a happy camper!

Time to check my dinner. I'm making lentil soup and the smell is driving me crazy. I wish the d*mn lentils would hurry up and get soft so we can dig into it before the kids get here.

PH - So did "Alice" do the trick? I sure hope so. I had my friend "Chuck" to help me get through the evening having 4 grandkids here. Boy, they were loud!!!
The shirts I got are both black. One has a sequined pumpkin on the front. The other has 3/4 sleeves and has 3 ghosts on the front and 1 ghost on the back. Now I want to see if I can find some earrings to wear with them. I do have big dangling ghost earrings, but they've been worn so many times and are getting shabby looking.

I knew it would happen ... We were right in the middle of eating when Missy and company arrived. They finished off the pot of soup! And we thought we'd have some left for another day. Oh well!

Woke up this morning to the sound a marching band!! This was at 7:45am!!!!!! There is a high school not far from me and the sound travels.................then I got up and went to the park..............the parking lots were full................there had to be several football games going on already and that was 8:30.................dang........they sure start early around here..............so all I heard wnen walking was SCORE!! TOUCHDOWN!! PENALTY!! Not a very relaxing kind of walk................some lady was there on the trail.............had to be 85 and she was RUNNING!! The whole time....(and the trail is 2 miles) AND when I finished ,she was going for a second go round! Sure put me to shame............I run some,but not very much at all.................but if I keep this up,maybe in 30 years,I too can run non stop........hahahahah

Going to Sams and the mall in a bit............while Dennis makes his way home from Key West.........think he'll be home around 7.......

Fall festival time around here.............but Im not going........if you're not there by 7am,forget about it...............
