Working on HOA stuff this morning.

Did they tell RCs to quit posting under that title? Have you heard anything from RCI on the subject? Anything in the works for you for Oasis?

Back from the movies and here's my review - - - It was not the greatest movie I've ever seen, but was very enjoyable. The computer graphics are fantastic. There definitely were sad parts, but not that sad. It's basically a very simple story about an old man fulfilling his late wife's dreams. Along the way he encounters a little boy, a talking dog and a very large bird and they share his adventure. Would I want to see it again? Probably not. It's definitely not a Shrek or Toy Story. There were a number of kids at the movie and once it started, you didn't hear a peep out of them. That was a good thing. The end!

San - You sure are asking a lot of questions, but I don't blame you. Us S of the E want to know about these things. All of a sudden there's nothing being mentioned about the RCs. Has the group been disbanded? See - I can ask questions too!

I went up to the hospital in San Jose to see Hugh. He looks pretty good, but they couln't do all that they wanted to....too much damage, I guess.

I KNOW NOTHING about RCs.we have not been told what to do or not to do.............and no word from RCCL about Oasis,even though its way too early for that........and no disbanding..............but who knows whats in store for the future.....some of us still have it in our signature......some dont..........

FREEDOM OCT 4TH,BB...................Need I say more?? You dont want to be cruising with a bunch of pirates(thats the theme of the Sept one).............and not only that,you can cruise with US!!

It's hard to say about Hugh.....they were not able to do what they wanted to, so I guess he will be operating at a diminished capacity now......take life easier. He was talking about retiring last night. We had a good visit. For the life of me, I cannot see what he sees in the GF, no personality, no people skills, looks like a librarian. She's nothing at all like Nadine.....complete opposite.

Good morning! Nice to see that you both were here bright and early. I've been getting some things done for our trip to NC tomorrow. Still have the dreaded packing to do, but that will go fast as we only need very casual stuff.

PH - Only problem with Oct.4 is that the rate is over $200. more pp than on Set. 20. I'll have to think about that one. RCCL website says there are deals for that date, but nothing is showing once you check. What's up with that?

I think I have finally found a cruise that will make me do something other than Royal Caribbean or Carnival. Have you heard about the new NCL ship, the Epic, that comes out next summer? The heck with boardwalks, Central Park & ziplines. This ship will have Blue Man Group, Cirque, and ice bar and lots of restaurants. Definitely worth checking out. Even now, prices aren't too bad as compared to Oasis.

San - Glad you got to go see Hugh. You've got to wonder what attracts some people to others though. He must see something in the GF that others don't. That's a shame though that he's having such problems.

I think the deal is for the inside cabins...................we paid $200 less pp when we first booked.......it has gone up............well, you still have time till your final payment so maybe prices will drop..........................

I was reading about Epic a few weeks back..........looks amazing,but it does remind me of Oasis too(which has Cirque)..............which I have no desire to book..........free cruise,yea,I;d go.......pay for it........nope........

I cruised with several of those people on your FR cruise(on the MN back in Jan)............of course,you know Steve and Sue....................wild group..............but I know you're probably not on the roll call and its a big ship............................

You're right - I never got involved with the roll call. I checked it out right after we booked, but they seem like a very chummy group who stick together. The pirate thing doesn't really bother me. If you remember, we were all on a pirate cruise on Mariner. It really didn't impact us at all.

Did you get my email about the discount on that wine? They just started an email list.

The GF was there, but left and sat somewhere else as soon as I walked in. She came back in an hour later, but left again because I wasn't showing signs of leaving while Hugh was having a good time.

Geek Squad just left with another $250. of our money! That was on top of the $100. it had already cost me to have them come in. They were here for about 2 hours. Ended up buying a remote that takes the place of our 3 remotes. That works for me. Now I just have to figure out how to use the darn thing!!!

Do you want us to start sending you emails too, San? I'm sure you'd find them very boring, from a male point of view. Us girls thrive on this kind of stuff, right PH?:lol
