Anyone but me NOT watch the Oscars??? I just like the next day when they show best/worse dressed!

Then you would have loved the dress that the actress from Michael Clayton was wearing. Looked like something made from a Hefty Trash bag. I am sure she topped the list of worst dressed by a wide margin. Overall, though, the dresses didn't seem as outlandish or ill-advised as they have in past years.

Good morning.

Went to San jose to see Nadine on Friday....she was up and about and doing well. They wanted to go to dinner that evening, but nancy and I had to go to Watsonville to look after Joseph. We made arrangemnets to go to dinner on Saturday. When we got to San Jose in the driving rain, Nadine was not as mobile as the day before and din't look as happy....she had fallen in the shower that morning. Anyway, dinner was very nice....we all had a good time.

Worked on Anthony's new trailer on Saturday...getting it ready for next weekend's trip to the wilderness area...Matthew came up to help.

Dinner at our house last night...John and Angelia, Angeline and Anthony....we were watching the oscars....but like Bill, I thought the dresses were not as good as last year......too little cleavage showing, so I turned it off.....bummer.

I need to wash a couple of cars this morning........too much rain lately....but it's supposed to be really nice this week.

PH, I also did NOT watch the Oscar's. Saw some of the dresses on the Today Show this morning.....

San, sorry that Nadine fell. Sure makes on know how lucky they are, with Ruttie and Nadine and other being so sick.
Prayers needed West and South.....

Sure wish out weather would take a turn for the better...... We have another Winter Storm Watch out for the next two days......
Enough already, I'm ready for Spring......

Sorry to hear Nadine took a fall,but glad to hear you all got to go to dinner......Im sure that helped perk her up a bit.........

Marcia.....I can not believe you have more snow coming!!! We do have a "cold front" coming,but of course,nothing like you.......I sat outside all afternoon and read Readers Digest........the sun put me to sleep for a bit.........


And yes, we all should count our blessings..........

Went and got the TAXES DONE today. Thank Goodness Art agrees to have this nice young CPA do our taxes. He's so efficient and gives us great advice.

Tony.....sorry about Nadine falling. They need to get hand-rails put in the shower or bath area for her and a Shower SEAT/CHAIR and the Hand Held water thingy so she can SIT and take a shower. But then .........maybe she has these things already or is getting them. Just thought I'd mention them.

Too bad Andrea had sooo much rain while she was on her California vacation. Bummer. But just like Andrea and MOnty.......they seemed to make the BEST of it.

Marcia: We're suppose to get MORE SNOW (and it's NOT LOVELY ANYMORE) early tomorrow morning. They're calling for 2-6 inches depending on where you live. =huh I hope I live in the 2" area. ::eek:

I'm off to the Mall to return some jeans that are just NOT LONG enough. Hate going, but I want to get it overwith before tomorrows snow.

Kathie-my fav jeans are Lees...........they come in long........and this pair has some sort of tummy control................I wear them all the time..........

Met with landscaper....they will start Weds or Thurs.
Detailed the GMC and the Buick.
Nice day....warmer.
Nadine already has all that HS....should stood on one leg to shave....that's when it happened.

We still need to do our taxes...our CPAs name is Mr Turbo Tax :lol

How long will the landscaping take,Tony??? My yard would be a couple of hours.....haha

We did our taxes a couple of weeks ago. Until, this year have always purchased TurboTax - love that program. This year was able to use one of the free programs offered at www.irs.gov, and was able to e-file for free also. Refunds were in the bank Friday morning...celebrated with the sparkling sangria at Columbia.
Marcia - wish you could have joined us, would have been fun.
You too, Kathie and Tony, would love to meet you all.

Gary was off today, comp time for his overtime...made BBQ chicken, baked potato and asparagus...yummy. Now just relaxing

Taxes By Tony is what I use.
Yard should be done by the end of next week Kathy.
Yea Marcia, I've always stood on two legs to shave.
Maybe sometime in the future PQ.....when I sail out of Florida.

Marcia - Brandy is a big fluffy bear, PH can attest to that, she's just not as fluffy as she once was....she thinks she's a lap dog.
Expecting bad weather later tonight, but should be nice until then. Will need to cover plants Thursday am.
Interviews today...had 386 applicants...narrowed it to 6 that met the criteria.
Well, better get ready to go to work. Yuck!

San, actually, I usually sit down to shave......:lol

PQ, I had one of those dogs.... long ago.... He would wait for me to sit in the big Lazy Boy lounger, and then take a flying leap into my lap - and I was litterly pined to the chair...... Really had to push to get him off of me. He just could not understand why he could not just stay there.....

I had a very nice talk with our Canadian Coffee guy last night.:phone They are planning to drive this way in mid April. Lu-Ann and I can break the bank at Coldwater Creek....... Hee, Hee....

We have a lot of fog here this morning......

Mike did make it home this morning....

That's very sad to hear about the passing of Sammy....just not fair.

Trousers is a lap dog too!

That should be a nice visit for you with L&L Marcia.

How do you stop visuals PH? I've never found a way to stop them once they get started.
