Morning all,

I can't get on CC either.... Yesterday was a very busy day...... Hours and hours at the Butler County Fair watching Grandkids and the furry/feathered Greatgrandkids rack up ribbons...... Next bout will be Thursdays. And thinking about how many years a "lived" at the Fair 24 hours a day with my three and their horses.

We had lots of rain, thunder and lightening last night...... A little cooler this morning. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh..:thumb

Have an appointment with the Chiro at 9:30, so I need to get a move on.....

K-2, there a bunch of people from the old Church going to the New Church..... And then in a city the size of Hamilton, we often see others in the stores, etc.

Morning....

You sure were busy yesterday Marcia.....good for all those kids......I would have given anything for a life with animals like that..I couldnt even have a hamster........guess thats why since I have been on my own,I have had 2 or 3 dogs at a time,.....see?? Its not my fault......

Another day with no plans,but like yesterday something usually pops up........I should get use of the pool,but it really has been too hot to be out there..........

Hope San is having a good time tooling around the countryside.............

Can't open CC either. This is getting to be a daily ritual over there. It's so much easier to get on here and post.

PH - Glad you and PQ had a nice visit. Too bad the restaurant wasn't that good. There's a Tequila Flats going in up by Kris & Gary. They're all excited about having one that close. I'm not a big fan of Mexican, so we've never been to one. Most everyone who likes Mexican seems to like it though. Might have to give it a try just to make them all happy.
I'm going with Kris & her mother over the weekend to see Momma Mia. Kris saw it alone Friday night and can't wait to see it again. Bert & Gary saw the Batman movie while the rest of us were at PO'B's Saturday night. They said it was the best Batman ever.

Marcia - You sure were kept busy yesterday at the fair. Missy was the only one of our kids that was into raising an animal to show. Thank goodness she raised a rabbit, which, by the way, took best of show! She was a dwarf white bunny named Snowball.

Not much going on around here today. It's already getting hot outside, so once again I see a lot of time staying inside.

Sure its not Tijuana Flats?? I've been to that and enjoy it.....even though i prefer a restaurant that i sit down and someone takes my order.TFs ,you go to the counter and order.....pay,sit down and they bring you the food(same as the place we went to yesterday)

I have no desire to see Batman......havent seen any of them........Im just not into movies like that.......I definetly will see Mamma Mia again......Dennis still says he will go....so Im gonna take him up on it.........only thing is,hes working so much this week,,

Tequila Flats ... Tijuana Flats ... Shows you how much I know about the place and how much I want to go there.:cool:

I think Momma Mia will be in the theaters for a few more weeks and you'll be able to go with Dennis. What I think is too funny is that Gary has always been a huge Abba fan, but he has no desire to see the movie. Go figure! The play is coming to this area (Bob Carr) soon, but the ticket prices are very high. Don't think we'll make it to that one. I'd rather save my money to see Jersey Boys!!!

Last night,I checked out the tix for Bob Carr and for Tampa.............it is sooooooooooooooooo $$$$$$$.thought it would make a great birthday present but I rather put it towards a cruise...........and funny,I am not a ABBA fan but loved the movie.........not that i dont like ABBA,just always thought of them as bubblegum kind of music........I am now converted......

TFs is pretty good.......its one of Laurens favorites down in Tampa....

That's too funny about where Lauren ate today!

Boy, did we have one h*ll of a storm this afternoon! We had horizontal rain with 50+ mph winds ... also lots and lots of lightening close by. Scared the crap out of me! Bert was off to Sam's during the storm, so all I could do was grab a glass of wine and call Joanne!!!:)o Two hours later, the storm was gone!:)D

I can't believe we're finished dinner already tonight. It's going to be a very long evening around here!

Dennis called and I could tell he was sacred @hitless........he went thru that storm and swore a tornado touched down.......never heard him so scared.........said his trailer was next to him in the other lane..

Actually PH..........I feel like I'm just repeating myself. So sometimes if I really don't have anything to say or a reason to answer anyone I just read and move onto my WEATHER THREAD.

Wow, PH - I can just imagine how scary that storm was for Dennis. For a t-storm, that was one of the worst ones I've ever seen. Plus it hung around here for at least an hour. We got at least 3 inches of rain during that storm. Our lake is as full as it can get and the water is going over the spillway into Lake Toho. That hasn't happened in over 2 years! After a storm already this morning, I'm hoping we'll have a dry afternoon, but I doubt it.

Just missed ya,BB..........

We need to head to town for a new cell phone for Dennis...he dropped his and broke it......he is so rough on phones.....just waiting for him to finish cutting the grass......figured better now than if it rains later(and I hope it does).........

I think I'd faint if I saw a trucker's cab in one lane and his trailer in the other one. :help Tell Dennis I'm glad he got home safe.

It is really nice outside today, low 80's and a nice breeze.......

haah Marcia...............Dennis did about faint..........he was sure scared....

Now we jut had wicked lightning and thunder but no rain........**&%$....BB-you hogging the water again??

Just got a new cell phone and playing with it....of course, has too many things I'll never use......

BB: Sounds like you got plenty of water there in your lake. Do you think "MR GATOR" swam out with the excess water into Lake Toho?? :lol

Marcia: You must be having some of the same kind of NICE weather we are today. I thought it was going to rain about 3 hours ago, but only dark clouds and now they're gone. Hope I can open the WINDOWS again tonight. We closed the house up around 2:00 pm today and it's keeping things real nice and cool WITHOUT the A/C being on. Love saving those big bucks that way.

Yea,he is hard on them K2.....with the constant vibration in the truck,sometimes it drops..sometimes he spills coffee on it.......last night as he was getting outta the truck,he dropped it........did it land on the sand or grass?? heck no,it found a rock!

So now he has my old phone(he always wanted mine) and I got the new one...........called The Scoop.........easy for texting... I can even IM from it.....probably wont though..

PH, tell Dennis what happened to Vicki's last phone. She walked in from work, set it on the kitchen counter and in about 10 seconds the cat jumped up, took one swat and it went right into the dogs water bowl. She found out that cell phones don't like water....
Hoodey hid the rest of the night.........
