Dont think we were debating(were we Marcia??)...we just said we have always been on the top...................anywho......

Guess whos back on the FL thread?? Vic..........and of course, someone from just had to welcome him back...........not me...............he says they are empty nesters.........wonder what happened to the jailbird(I am not asking)...............

Brother came over and we had a really nice visit. Actually, got to sit outside on the deck. Don't know why my sister-in-law didn't tag along, but OH WELL!! They're staying about 2 miles away from here at their life-long friends house.

Can't sit outside right now........the SUNSHINE showed up and made it like a STEAM BATH outside. The flowers love it.

I'm off the boards till tonight. Have a fun day all!!

[size=medium] Can't seem to sign on the CC board this morning. They still must be sleeping over there!

It's going to be another HOT ONE here in Detroit/Metro Suburbs!!
I went for a walk at 6 a.m. thinking I'd miss the sunrise heat, but it got me on the way back. Passed my next door neighbor as she was coming back from a walk and she said she was out at 5:30 a.m. She lucked out better than I did.

Off to the showers with me now!!

Cant get on CC either..........oh well, I do have 4 other boards to report to each day..........CC is usually the last one I go to......

Not too much going on today.............but then again,its early,so we'll see............

Morning! I managed to get on CC, but it wouldn't open up to post anything,

Looks like another hot hot hot day in the neighborhood... heat index of 105!::eek: Bert was outside for just a few minutes working and when he came in he looked like he had just stepped out of a sauna. Definitely a good day to stay in the AC!

It was a busy weekend around here. Missy finished up her classes on Saturday, so it was time to celebrate. She won't get her diploma until Dec., but she's done!!!! The whole gang went to Pat O'Brien's Saturday night. We didn't get home until after 3 AM! I was so beat yesterday, but the party continued with friends and family here once again. I was so happy to see everyone leave. Now I have the whole house to clean! UGH!!!

K2 - Come on ... You've got to ask what happened to the son. You know Vic is just waiting for someone to ask so he can tell us his tale. Go for it. It's a quiet week and we need something to talk about!!:)D

Phone ringing ... Gotta go ...

Ooooo ... Lunch! Boy, do I miss our lunches that lasted for hours, PH. I don't get to do that around here. Bert cramps my style and most of my friends are on diets and into exercise programs ... UGH!!! I Hope you gals have a good lunch. What's the new place you're going to? I bet it's Mexican. Am I right and what do I win??:lol

K2 - I'm not saying a word to our ole buddy over there. Notice how he usually does like 2 posts in a row? Weird ....
Missy tries to stay friendly with Jimmy, but a times he makes it difficult. He's not giving her any money, so things are very tight for her right now. Hopefully, now that's she's graduated, she'll be able to get a better paying job. In the meantime, he blows every dollar he gets. Now that Missy isn't controlling money and the paying of bills, he's like a kid in a toy store blowing the money as soon as he sees something he wants.:cool:

Back from lunch...........while it was okey,its not a place we would go back.......too many other better Mexican foods kind of places.......Noticed they have a steakhosue on the square too now....gonna open soon(maybe??)....

Went to see mama mia after that...................absolutley loved it......I need the soundtrack.......I sang along in the theater.......hahahah
