Sounds like you got a great deal (and cash) for your UF/LSU tickets. We watched the game as long as we could, then recorded it and watched the rest this morning.

Today is a little cloudier than yesterday...we took Brandy to the dog park this morning; she's feeling much better. But only stayed for 30 minutes, it was hot even at 9 in the morning. Gave her a bath when we got home. Gary did all the lawns yesterday.

Another fried turkey today...sorry PH, forgot to call you...we're just going to have to plan a Saturday or Sunday and do another turkey. Maybe after your cruise, but before ours.

Well, want to check out the other threads...knock on wood, but it looks like your cruise next week will be weather free.

TRUST me BB........I am not putting Dennis to work.........he is OBSESSED with his lawn and how it looks...............................I would LOVE to see Jersey Boys..........I LOVE the 4 Seasons.............

got up early to bring the garbage out.................I notice we have less and less since we started recycyling..........amazing most of my garbage was plastic bottles, aluminum cans and glass bottles......................guess I drink more than eat........hahahaha

Morning, PH:wave Nice to see you around so bright and early ... If you consider 9:00 early. Great to be retired, isn't it? Good thing we are up already. Our lawn guys just showed up.

Not much planned for today and I don't have to worry about having the MMs here for dinner tonight ... YIPPY!!! Might just convince Bert we need to try a new restaurant in the area for lunch. I heard it was pretty good.

Just got home.............Went to walmart,Lowes,barber(for Dennis) and I washed the car while he went there.............then to Sam Seafood.............was sooooooooooooooooooooo slow cuz it was full of teachers............teacher work day today,.I think..........it took forever and the poor waitress was being run ragged................wound up not having to pay for our meals.......since Dennis' AYCE turned out to be a one time portion...................plus they didnt bring us a lot of things................we were there almost an hour..........manager apologized........we were nice about it cuz we didnt blame the waitress............they are just not used to a full restaurant on Mondays..........

well, today is embarkation day for San,Marcia and all.............lucky them.......................

Taking a nap today...........didnt sleep too good last night.........

I was thinking about the crew across the pond a little while ago. Hope they had a good time meeting up with R. I bet Bill is heartbroken to find out that the Pat's quarterback may well be out for the rest of the season.

Did you see the happy hour prices for SOS for a 4 day later this month? Around $40/day/person! I showed it to Bert, but I couldn't get him to go for another one so soon.

Have a good nap! Think I'll have to make a few phone calls and see if anyone is around for happy hour later today.

Just finished dinner. PQ - It's all your fault! You've had me tasting steak, baked sweet potatoes, and salad. Had to have all that, plus a bottle of Red Diamond wine. Now i'm ready to curl up on the couch and relax.

PH - Heard from R ... The terrible 8 behaved themselves in London!:lol Gonna have to find out about a comment he made about he and Marcia sharing a lot of kisses.: Do we have an international scandal on our hands?????

Time for my daily post...yep, for some dumb reason they schedule an inservice day right after the Labor Day holiday. Sorry, it messed up your lunch.

Fall sounds better for turkey...we had a problem with the thermostat on the turkey fryer, wasn't reading correctly, so had to watch the turkey closer. The fryer is fine now, but we almost lost that last turkey.

Gary is obsessed with his lawn, too...mowing, trimming, putting lime on the lawn...and does it all over again. The back lawn looks just as nice, and he doesn't pay it half as much attention.

Well, want to check the other threads before bed...see y'all tomorrow.

Good morning...........another day in Paradise,huh?? We always say how lucky we are to live here and not be those people who have to spend thousands of dollars to come for a week to see Mickey or to even enjoy the nice weather............you couldnt pay me to move,esp in the winter.................noooooooooooo thanks!

Our traveling pals are in Le Havre today(oh lala!!)........and whats weird is they go back to England next.....=huh

Good morning, PH. I hope you slept well. My morning is off to a bad start ... There was now newspaper outside!: I had to call the paper and it may take until 11 to get here. I can't start my day without coffee and the newspaper. Am I a victim of habit or what?

Going back to England from LeHavre is the way they always do it. After all, you can't get to the open seas without passing England, so they may as well stop and say hello.:wave Today's the day that Tony takes over as their official driver and Marcia is tour guide. I keep getting this mental picture sort of like a Laurel & Hardy of Lucy & Ricky skit of how this will unfold!D I hope they don't make the news or end up in jail!!!

Today's cleaning day around here. After all the kids here over the weekend, there are grubby fingerprints all over the sliding door and the windows in the family room (thank you, Ethan!). The upside is that getting it all done now, I won't have to worry about doing anything before we leave!

Read the Star Blunder online version instead. I see that Bittings Pharmacy on 17th St. burned out last night.

Got a good one for you - I get a couple of emails a week from the deputy who runs our neighborhood watch group. Got one last night that totally cracked us up. It was titled Deputy responds to robbery at Krispy Kreme Bet that was a fast response! Think POLICE and DONUTS ... It's a natural match!!

yea,I was just reading about Bitings..............have been posting on the forums there,,,,,,,,,,,seems my dentist's office is not all that its cracked up to be,.............they arrested one of the workers last week for calling in RXs and selling them on the street.............and now people are coming out and saying the dentist knew it ..............the worker did the same thing in Orlando 2 years ago..........

Jeez,I sure pick em...........last year my eye doctor was arrrested for exposing himself..................well, he wasnt my doctor but I went to the office.....lange Eye
