Morning......hey,I beat Marcia this am.......thats cuz we woke up before 7 today!!!!! Im alreayd dressed and raring to go.......(where?? nowhere,really)..........Dennis is doing his exercises and treadmilling..........

Really chilly this morning,but wil warm up to about 70..........I can handle that.......but right now, there is frost on the ground and the rooftops......brrrrrrrrrrrr.....

Let me know if you hear back,Christine............Amy, the manager called me............she was really nice........

That coffee sounds really good,marcia............bet it warmed up your insides.........

How did it go last night,Kathie???I bet it really,really sad..........

Any breakfasts or lunches today,Tony????

It's SNOWING really hard here right now and suppose to continue until 12 Noon ! It started right at 7:30 a.m. like they predicted. Amazing how they can do that with all that Doppler stuff.
Yup Kathy.......last night was something you just NEVER want to go to. The place was packed and friends and teachers had put up all of Sammy's Spider Man & Super Man costumes along the walls. The Grandfather was the worse of all of them. The Dad stayed at the back of the long large room and the Mom was everything she has been in her postings on CaringBridge..........a super woman. Lots of huge pictures from the house of the kids together and one huge picture of Sammy before his illness. They did him proud. May he rest in peace. Thanks for listening to me all these 14 months.

I'm getting ready to get dressed and Art is going to drive me to the post office and then to get some GAS at Costco. I got a Rebate check from Costco yesterday for $116 bucks just for using my American Express card when buying stuff from Costco and their Gas. I can just imagine how big some of the checks for large families are who walk out of there with TWO and THREE HUNDRED dollar bills. Not me.......thank goodness.

Good Morning all,

Kathy, I was up before 7 too, but got my shower, dressed, made the bed, got the coffee started, went out and got the paper and had breakfast, read the paper and now on my second cup of coffee....... Front page of our paper, a guy that went to school with Vicki was killed yesterday going left of center. He had just finished a 12 hour shift at work and had been working 60 hour weeks...... I'm sure he fell asleep.... So sad.

Kathie, I'm sure that was one really hard visitation......

We have to go to a visitation this morning, fellow that Carl had worked with for years..... Then have to pick up our Income Tax papers.

And then need to stop at the store.....

I still feel bad about making the comment about getting dolled up for the funeral home. That was really tasteless on my part. Sorry K2.

Went for my three month check up this morning.....all went well....Dr. said I am doing really well....didn't expect me to get back to normal so soon. Have to go in every three months for the first year.

Truck is all packed, so's the trailer. Anthony and his friend James have already left for Clear Creek....Trousers too. I am waiting for Brad to get off work, then I'll show him the way.....he's never been there before.
Nancy is in Watsonville babysitting Joseph [who has a bad cold]....then her and Angeline will hang out together for the weekend.
Stock market really sucks!

Hiya..........

Congrats on the checkup news!! Thats fabulous!! Who's Brad??

We went looking for a new Roady 2 today for the truck.........couldn't find any....did find another XM adaptor that we thought would work and it was mismarked at 28 instead of 38.........the manager gave to us at that price...woohoo.........only thing it didn't work for the truck....we needed some sort of transmitter instead of the extended antennae(I'm sure Tony knows what I am talking about).......soooooooooo back to walmart to return our great buy..........they didn't have the XM one we needed so we got a Sirius one this time............couldn't wait cuz Dennis does not have a working radio in the truck and he really needs something esp for weather and traffic reports............Called and cancelled XM and of course, they offer you everything under the sun since we have been with them 3 years............but in this case, time was of the essence.........


Ate lunch at Outback(not the one Christine ate at)........my burger was not medium but well done.......I'm not picky really,but when the waitress asked,I showed it to here...........she brought the manager over who offered us a free dessert................Dennis(Mr Diet and exercise man) said NO..........I said HOLD ON,don't answer for me...............I got the sinful sundae......hahah..........much better than the hamburger........


Also went and got Dennis a new wedding band............ours are gold with diamonds now and he is constantly loosening up the stones.........so he now will have a "work" wedding band.....titianium......should be indestructible........

Marcia------------sorry to hear about that guy that was killed..........you never know what lays ahead,do you??

Kathie----that must have been really sad with all those costumes,and videos..........and to see that little coffin.....breaks my heart thinking of it........

Did ya hear oil barrel went over $103 this morning??????

He needs a FM modulater to send the sirius signal to the FM band on the Radio.....usually they are built in in the Roadys etc.....I use an FM modulator to play my Ipod over the GMC radio.....plugs right into the radio on the Buick though.
Brad is a friend of Angeline and Anthony. Good kid...sure can cook!

OK, whatever he needs,he got..............we put it in the truck and activated it.....you're right, the Roady had it(thats the one that died on him) ,but unfortunately,Walmart didn't have Roadys and we didn't have time to go looking elsewhere.......

Not too much going on since last night.........watched some tv and went to sleep around 11:30....

Can you believe we change clocks next weekend?? Sure seems early...........be nice to be lighter later though..

Need to do some running..... Oldest son needs a care package. His room mate moved out leaving him the appartment (which he loves), but he needs some pots and pans, etc. And some food till payday........

Good morning! Nothing much going on around here today.

I'm not sure if Missy is dropping the kids off here when she heads for school. I sure will be glad when July rolls around and she is finally finished with her degree. It feels like she's been in school forever!

Went to the Grill last night (surprise, surprise!!). They were having trivia night. It was so funny ... All 3 prizes were won by groups at our tables. And none of us cheated!

Kathy - I saw where Lone Star had closed. We only went there once and were not impressed at all.
I was reading the Star Blunder online this morning. They had a story about a 77 year old man who beat up his 74 year old wife. He blamed it on the cost of gas to take her for dialysis.:cool:. I don't think the beer he was drinking helped either!

Better get a move on. I haven't done a darn thing except read the paper. It's a beautiful day here. Might be time to hit Lowes nursery and buy some new stuff for my herb garden. I need parsley and thyme. The chives, rosemary, mint, and basil are all doing great, so it's time to add to the collection!

OHMIGOSH.....the poor guy.....$140 a month on fuel? Now wonder he cracked.............JEEZ-gimme a freaking break..........dont know whats going on in Marion County.......2 other women were killed by their husbands in the last month...........

BTW-hows Ron and Laurie doing with their house??

[size=medium]BB: Lucky you getting to even THINK about PLANTING flowers. It'll be a long long time before we are able to do that up here. Got 2 more inches of snow last night. It's warming up here .........35 degrees right now........:)D and the SUN is BRIGHT! Beats Grey and Gloom any day.

PH: Yikes......hard to believe we'll be moving the clocks "Ahead" in a few weeks. But that mean I've ALMOST made it through another Michigan Winter. You all know how much I HATE them.

PH: I read your post about the Kaluha on the Bunny thread. If we get together while I'm in Florida ( April 4 - April 11) (we leave on the 12th) I'll be happy to pay you for a bottle of that stuff. One nice thing is it doesn't go bad as long as it's not opened.

Who's going on a Carribbean cruise (BB- KC??) before my visit?? I'd love to see how much that Patron Tequila is when you buy it to bring back. It's $42-45 a bottle here and that's at Costco. That stuff is really smooth and I usually don't like Tequila.[/size] I'll have to check into prices. Maybe KC would get some for me and meet up with us in Florida.

Later........gotta go check and see if my poor Son-in-law 's plane has taken off YET for Toyko.

No one (from FL) is cruising before April...

You're more than welcome to the Kahlua,but how will you get it home?? Im guessing pack in your checked in luggage??
