Welcome back, Tony. Sounds like you had some rough going this time. I hope Trousers paw is ok. I bet he got lots of love and cuddling due to his boo boo. Bet Anthony wasn't too happy about needing a new water pump either. That's not good. I'd tell you guys to stick to paved roads from now on, but I guess that would defeat the whole purpose of ATVing.:cool:

Kathie - I hope your weather doesn't get too bad. We're due for some possibly severe weather to move in tomorrow. Just our luck ... We have to go to Ocala tomorrow to have our taxes and the company taxes done. Second bit of bad luck - Bert ordered a weather radio and it won't be here until Wednesday. What's that saying about a day late and a dollar short? Oh well ...

Almost time to get ready to go out for dinner. After Bert got his plants in, he decided to take a nap. Poor baby was all tuckered out! I need to wake him up in a few minutes to go take a shower. After dinner we need to stop by Kris & Gary's house to pick up half a flat of Plant City strawberries. Guess what I'll be doing tomorrow morning!

BB------your Sonnys went out probably cuz you have TONS of other restaurants to pick from.........I think we have Sonnys now....we really enjoy it...... No clothes for Easter for me..........still make baskets though,,

Poor Trousers, San.were you not be a good "grandpaw" and watching him?? Hope the new water pump doesnt cost too much.....whats your gas up to?? Ours is about $3.19 now........

Hope you enjoyed your walk,K2........how far did you go??

Dennis is stuck down in Miami right now...........after his delivery in Key West,he headed there for a pick up,but his appt is not till 10am tomorrow.............hes already bored and has the whole night ahead of him..................

BB: Are those strawberries grown in a HOT HOUSE or outside?? Seems like your weather just hasn't been warm enough to get OUTSIDE Strawberries already. I'll have to start looking for them at the Veggie market. Fruit is Sooooooo expensive right now up here. Hate that.

Later all........I'm waiting on Art to get home from his Bike Shop appt. His NEW Bike is in and he was getting fitted for it. Don't even ask me all the things they do to make sure it's just a perfect fit for him. Heck is metal ........how can you fit that?? :cool: I guess it's the handle bars and gears and seat etc, etc. He'll be like a little "Kid" tonight with all the news about it. I just hope he doesn't want to have it in the bedroom with him tonight! Hee Hee.[/size]

Hey, we went to eat and it was raining and when we got out it was snowing. Suppose to get nastier through the night.

SAN: How's trouser's paw doing? I feel so bad for that dog. How did you do it??

By the way I didn't like that new Oprah show yesterday at all. Too much like Apprentice, but just with some money attached to each stage. I won't be following that one.

Kathie - be careful with that weather. How was the "bike" fitting for Art?
Went to Backyard Burger today...kids were in the area and asked if I'd join them. They are leaving for Kentucky tomorrow with a load. It's been slower than usually, so they are taking anything they can get. Last week was a big sale down in Miami...one of the horses they picked up for delivery had sold for 1.4 million ::eek: They had to take the horse over the Florida/Georgia border...unload at a "fake" farm and then bring back to Ocala to deliver. If the horse is sold and delivered instate there's a 10% tax...out of state, no tax. Amazing.

Hope Trouser's is okay...good that he went to the vets...infections can happen so easy with dogs.

Clarence, our tabby, is missing...short story. He went out this morning and didn't come back. He goes out almost every night, and this is the first time he hasn't return for "tuna time." We're worried...we do have creatures out in the forest, but I'm sure we would have heard him scrowl...he's 14 and we've had him since he was 6 weeks old. Hoping he's just catting around and will come home tonight...although, I realize if he's not home by now, he may not come home. We don't have traffic out here, it's secluded and only residents here, so don't believe he was hit or anything. We'll see what happens.

I ALMOST went to BB today around 1:30........wound up at Crispers instead........BTW----what kind of camera do you have(the underwater one??)..........

That sure is complex how they deliver those horses.........

Didnt watch the Ophrah show.......Not a big fan of hers...............Im watching the Royal family special now.........interesting............

It's an olympus 770SW and I just love it. I know that olympus just came out with another underwater camera. Mine can go underwater up to 30 feet for 1 hour (that's the recommended limit at a time). It can also do underwater video. I really love it. Can be dropped and shocked.

Good Morning all, or I hope its a good day...

Sorry K-2, yesterday went from bad to worse, then back to bad, or I just don't know.

When I got off, it was to pull up the Hamilton Journal and the Cincinnati Enquirer newspapers.

Some know - but to give out the shortened version. My son Mike has worked for Butler County for 28 years. His grandfather and father were elected officials, Butler County Auditors. Mike was working in the office off and on from age 16 on. Thru quite a few Auditors, both Democratic and Republican. About a week ago, his boss admitted in court to some felony offenses. And she was told to resign. She did and it will be official noon today.
When an elected official resigns, the County Commisioners have to name someone to take the job as an interim auditor (someone has to sign checks, etc.), the the party has to meet in about 30 days to appoint someone to finish the current term till the next election. So guess who is Auditor for about 30 days. My son Mike.... His phone is ringing off the wall from newspapers, TV, etc..... He has said he does not want the position to be permenant. I can't even get thru to him.

Need to go vote. Back later..

Good morning! Nice & sunny here right now, but that's going to change by this afternoon. I just hope we get in and out of Ocala before the rain/wind move in.

Our dinner last night at Bahama Breeze was great! We had a couple of Bahamaritas to wash it all down. I got the blue crab claw appetizer and seafood paella. Bert had the seafood chowder (new item) and coconut shrimp. We both brought most of it home, as we were stuffed. Guess what we're having for dinner tonight?

Kathie - This is strawberry time in Florida. No hothouse crap for up! These are grown in the ground. The annual strawberry festival in Plant City ends this coming weekend. The strawberries I picked up from Kris are so sweet and juicy. The guy from her office who picked them up said they were just taking them off the truck when he got there. Talk about being fresh!!

Marcia - Once again the proud mother in you is coming out! Good for Mike.

Christine - I hope Clarence comes home soon. Our cat was missing once and I was absolutely beside myself until we found him. Cats definitely are our special babies.

San - Come on ... We need to know how Trousers is. Did you get the water pump yet?

PQ: Sure hope Clarence shows up today. I bet it's real quiet over at your house since he's been gone.

Cold here right now and windy, but NO SNOW or ICE...........yet.

Good morning.
Trousers went to the vet yesterday. They really can't do anything for him except neurosporine[sp] and pain killers. We went to dinner at A&A's last night.....all Trousers wanted to do was sit on the couch with his head resting on my lap. The really bad part is that he cannot go ATVing with us this weekend.....that's going to really break his heart.

Got a new water pump for the trailer.....we'll put it in this morning.

New bedroom furniture is supposed to be delivered this morning.

Maybe Clarence got locked in someones garage mooching for food PQ. Hope he comes home soon.

New Furniture.......how fun. I bet Nancy can't wait to get it and see how it looks in the room. All this new stuff was more than worth the aggervation you guys went through selling and building this house. If I could find something in our price-range I'd do it again. I love all the planning and picking out of colors etc, etc. Especially since I'm not working now and would have tons of time to do all that stuff.

Kathie, it won't be the same without Trousers, but we are going to go ATVing.....he would want us to. It has been a nice move for us.....glad that we did it.

Kathy, the price of gasoline here is $3.599 per gallon.

Beautiful day here....sunny and warm.

The landscapers are working on the back yard. Pour cement this Saturday.

Back in till 3:00 and then off again. Sorry I have been lax on answering questions. Yes, Mike will get the Auditors salary for the 30 days or so that he fills in. He had to be bonded this morning and will be sworn in at 9:30 tomorrow morning, so I have to be uptown with my trusty camera...... Not sure who will do the job, usually one of the judges.....

San, so sorry about Trousers, sure hope he heals quick... Wonder if you should get him some boots for when you are out..... The kind that the Iditerod dogs wear..... to protect their feet in ice and snow.

San, sorry to tell you this, but I filled up the gas tank yesterday for $ 2.90 a gal.
