We're not going to he around April 4-8 due to going to NC for the wedding. We'd still love to catch up with you and Art, Kathie, but I'm not sure you want to wait that long to get together. Davenport is about a half hour from here, so that part wouldn't be a problem. I guess the best bet is you all decide what you're doing and, if we're around, we'll join in. Otherwise ... wait till next year!

O.K. played good Mom this morning. went to Goodwill and got Ray a lamp for $2.66. Bought him a mop, buckett, cleaning stuff. Took him a big picture for over the couch, bread - soup - peanut butter - and snacks & pop. Three skillets, a couple pans and some kitchen utencils. Apartment won't be bad when he gets it cleaned up.
I've got Mike and Vicki checking for some of the other stuff he needs.

It is beautiful out. Around 50, beautiful sunshine and lots of the snow has melted..... Yea.....

Yea bubble wrap should work............only thing is I hope the inspectors dont take it.........too bad,I cant mail it,but you cant mail alcohol thru USPS and FEDEX would cost a fortune.........

and too bad you're not a FL resident.....can get a 4 day pass(for all the parks) for $159.......You need to be a snowbird and have 2 addys..

We'll just play it by ear about meeting up,if we do.........I dont even know where Davenport is.....small town,I guess......

Davenport is the next town south when you go down 27 towards Disney (right after 192). Hopefully, we can get together...another person to cross off my "cruise forum to meet list"
Enjoyed the weather today and did a lot of nothing...WW (gained a little ), got passport pictures for Gary, went to the dog park and just put the plants back outside. We had moved the tomatoes and peppers in the boat barn/garage during the two freeze days. They were sure happy to see the sun today.
Going to check out the other boards...if Clarence will get off the keyboard...Bad Kitty!

PH, love the picture of Max...... You know the problem in our family, Vicki has given lots of stuff to son Tim and wife. Mike also gave stuff to Tim. And we gave a bunch of stuff to Carl's Grandson Chris and wife when they came home from Japen last year.
Used to have a bunch of un needed stuff..... But not anymore...... Next week, I will check on the big Goodwill store south of here. Maybe find a couple of end tables.....

PQ: Hopefully, we'll work something out about meeting up. We can try anyways. It's just that this vacation is going to be a rather BUSY RUNNING around type, as opposed to when we just got to the Gulf side and just REST. I would much rather be just laying around the pool and gulf than going to Disney but a part of me wants to see the Grandkids having fun at Disney. We'll see how it works out.

I have a Bridal Shower to go to today. Can we say "Boring"!!

Kathy/Kathie - I read that post...I was worried about poor Max too. If I baked Brandy and Cheese, she'd just eat it.
Went and got more plants - you'd think we'd run out of room by now - beautiful day for planting. Put the lemon and orange trees in the ground. Fed the fruit trees already in the ground.
Went for lunch, mexican food, and now just picking up the house. Gary's outside mowing. Cooking lamb shanks and polenta for dinner; need to cut the veggies soon.
Watching the making of Star Wars...really neat. Tracy is a big Star Wars fan.

I hope the cold weather is behind us...don't want to have to cover up again...a cold front is due Tuesday, but hope it just brings thunder showers. When we first moved to Florida, I was told not to believe the winter warm spells and not to plant until March 15...hope I don't regret planting 2 weeks early. Next weekend is the garden show over at the livestock pavillion...always fun to go to.

Lamb smells so good...bought 2 turkeys today at walmart, since they were down to $.78/lb. Will cook one next weekend in the turkey fryer, the other can sit in the freezer for a while. I don't know what the big deal is about Thanksgiving in February...I do that once a month I mean...you can't cook turkey without all the trimmings.

[size=medium]I'm doing what I said I wasn't going to do again.........posting on 3 sights!! Guess I'll have to give one of these up during Summer. I'm hoping it'll be nice and warm outside and I can get some decent walking in.

Our temps today were so-so. Just in the mid 40's. It was SO DARN HOT in that place where the shower was today. It's ALL floor to ceiling windows and even windows in the center way up high in the ceiling. It was so funny, because the Sun was shining through the windows and it moved from one table to another thoughout the whole shower. When it was on me we were eating so I could keep my head down and it didn't bother me. Too funny. You had to be there to really understand.

Okay, I'm finally hungry and need to go raid the refrig. Or maybe just make a nice Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich.

Just went and got babyback ribs from Sonnys for my dinner........man, they were good...........

Yesterday,I was gonna buy a fresh turkey breast(not the whole one),but the one Publix packages like chicken pieces .but they were all out...........so got chix cutlets instead.....

Maybe next weekend,I'll get a turkey breast and smoke it...........

I know I remember snow one Easter while I lived in NY.............and I remember a blizzard the day we buried my mom(she passed away 18 yrs ago today)........

I have no running around to do today........thats cuz dennis is not home..........that man loves to go to stores and shop.........so unlike me.......even though I would like to go check out our new mall and Dillards........getting a bunch of new places...

Bert just picked up some tomato plants. A few will go in the ground, but the rest will go in pots (think patio tomatoes). We should be safer here in Kiss-my-SSA then you gals in Ocala. We only had 1 night all winter when it got close to freezing.P) You all live too far north! Next thing Bert wants to get is pepper plants. I see our lawn slowly disappearing!:

Kathy - Our Sonny's shut down due to lack of business! We didn't go there often, but once in a while it was nice. A new restaurant moved into the location and lasted all of 3 weeks! What the heck was that all about? I think they spent all their money painting the building outside and had nothing left to buy food for the inside!

I remember one Easter having snow in NJ. I also remember a blizzard on Palm Sunday when the kids were small. By Easter the snow was gone and the kids were able to wear their Easter outfits.

Speaking of Easter outfits ... Does anyone buy one anymore? My usual Easter outfit now is shorts with a matching top!!!:lol

[size=medium] Good Afternoon All. It's 54 degrees here right now. But it's not going to last. The weather people are forcasting ALL KINDS of doom and Gloom later tonight and the rest of the week. Suppose to get ICY tonight from this melt we're having right now. Soon it will all be over!! Yippee!! X( That's about MAY up here!!

BB: Good for you getting a jump on planting those veggies. I need to find a place with MORE ALL DAY SUN this year and I think it will be in a area where we'll need to get rid of some grass. The normal garden has a huge Maple Tree that hangs over it and nothing grows there anymore except some herbs and then they're stringy.

PH: Nice of you to remember your Mom today. Always hard no matter how long ago it happened.

And YES..........I still "TRY" and buy something new for Easter. But I go to church and sing in the choir so it's just a thing that I normally do. If I'm NOT home for Serbian Easter I can just skip over the new outfit.

Good afternoon. Got back from ATVing yesterday evening. Had a great time......60s during the day and 20s at night. Cleaned ATVs, the Rhino and GMC last night and this morning. Leave again on Thursday for Stonyford [ATVing]

Trousers cut his paw on Friday night.....he's playing the sick dog pretty well.....really slowed him down, which is unheard of for him. I think Anthony took him to the vet this morning.

We ripped the water pump out from under Anthony's new trailer coming out from the camp site yesterday afternoon. I need to go mlook for a new pump this afternoon. Won't try that site again.....the road in is way too rough and potholed....several creeks to drive through too.
