Kathy - I so want a Harry's here. Can't understand why they haven't moved into the Orlando market yet. Guess I have to start a campaign to get them here like I have been doing for a Legal Seafoods. If Harry's is anything Like Legals, I'll die before we ever get one in this area!

Good Morning all,

We are now under a Winter Storm Watch for Friday and Saturday (forcast: the heaviest snow of the season).... And we are supposed to meet Grandmom for lunch..... This may be dicey. We shall see.......

Been trying to call Aunt Willy and try to go up there today, but her line is busy.... Wonder if it is off the hook?

Marcia: Is there anybody close by Aunt Willie that can go and check to see if the phone is off the hook and if she's alright. That would worry me not being able to get through to her.

I'm going to spend the night over Jill's tonight so I can get the kids off to school on Friday Morning. I don't feel like getting up at 6:00 A.M. to drive there to see them off, so this is a much better idea. Kids like when I sleep-over. Mark is still in Hong Kong so it's nice to be able to help out. Jill has early rounds with the Dr at the Dialysis office.

I heard quite a few people in OH lost power due to an ice storm..maybe thats Aunt Willy's case???

Thought of you last night BB(at Harrys).......wishing I could have had a hurricane(with floater) in your honor..hahah

Later all...............Dennis is home till tomorrow...............so may not be on here much today......hes at his folks now helping fix their puter and other handy man stuff..........

Sure, Kathy, rub it in ... A hurricane with a floater at Harry's! Add to that the lobster dip appetizer and I would be in heaven!!! Might have to make another trip to Ocala just to have some. Then you had to go and mention my other favorite - Carabbas. You sure know how to make someone crazy!:lol

Our dinner last night was sooo good. We had king fish & mackeral that was first marinated with all sorts of stuff. Some of the fish was fried and some was steamed with veggies. Nick also made 2 different root veggies I had never heard of. One was like a skinny sweet potato, but not sweet. The other looked like a long undernourished potato, but was sweet. Plus there was rice of course. It was all so good and every drom was consumed. Topped the meal off with pound cake, strawberries and whipped cream. By the time I got to dessert, they had eaten everything!! Oh well ... I didn't need dessert anyway!
All the while Nick was cooking we had CDs playing. They were done by the band on deck on the Mariner inaugural. It really was a fun evening.

Marcia - I too heard about the ice storm. I hope all is well with Aunt Willy. Sounds like you're in for a real blast of winter this weekend. For once, stock up on what you need and then stay home. I hope it won't mess up your lunch plans though. It would really stink to miss an opportunity to get together with GM.

Kathie - There you go again bucking for Grandmother of the Year. Have fun with the kids.

Just finished eating the steamers. Now it's time to do the dishes.

I REALLY need to find a part-time job. Today I got out a Pasta Maker machine that I have had for years. It's still in the original box!! Used it 2 times before this. Anyways, I made the dough and then CRANKED it through this machine that has metal rollers on it. I waited awhile for the first batch to dry a little and then tested it. I boiled it for a short time, really short for fresh pasta, and added some of that homemade sauce and it was SOOOO YUMMY!! Absolutely delicous.

So hears my plan for tonight. I'm taking the remaining dough with when I go to stay at Jill's tonight and the machine and I'm going to let the kids put it through this hand cranking machine. Thought they'd get a HOOT out of it and then be more tempted to eat the stuff!!

After I get off of here, I will down load my pics from today and will post a couple you know where...... I have never seen ice as thick as it was on the trees in Darke County.....

She was without power for 48 hours, but got it back on last night..... I "think" she had one of the phones off the hook this morning.... Her phones did not go out with the storm. When we got there, Carl asked if I brought his hard hat, you needed one to walk from the car to her back porch......
The ice was crashing down on our heads. Every time a little breeze blew, the ice would come down from the trees. It sounded awful on the roof....... Never seem anything like it.... They are saying 5 to 10 inches of snow..... This down not bode well for lunch on Saturday.....

When we got back to Hamilton, I hit the bank, the gas station, and the store..... Should be O.K. if we are snowed in, and made Aunt Willy promise she would not go out before next week......

Oops, that 5 to 10 inches has now gone to a foot, or up to 15 inches by tomorrow..... Oh my God..... Anyone with small animals, get them in or you will not see them again till the Spring thaw.

It just started just a while ago, very fine, but getting windy...

Sure hope you plan on staying put,for once,Marcia...........thats ALOT of snow........

Our weather isnt that great today,either............no snow,but tornado warnings.......been having a lot of those lately.........

kathy looks like bad weather is hitting you shortly hope you stay safe.. I am gonna break a rule and go getthe kids from school in the car line.. I think that if they wait till 5 -5:30 when richard gets there it will be really storming bad....

Ooops. Maybe I better not tell PH, headed out about 10:00, dropped off some mail, picked up stamps and then to the Wellness Center for a Fish Fry..... Had 48 people sighned up and about 20 showed up..... Seniors are hardy souls..... Got home about 1:00......

Now I have a pie in the oven baking and have fed the birds.........

Ruttie, now you behave, O.K.

HA! K2 you know me well so does my mom she insisted on picking me up and driving me.. we stopped off after wards at Blcokbuster and teh chinese restraunt Now I am back in bed I am getting stir crazy...... I think i am gonna be bedaphobic affter this..... Amricas Nextr top Model s running a marathon of i think the first season never watched that one so at least i have something to watch,.
fish fry sounds Yummy Marcia.... here we have a frog legs fry once a year in a town south of here.. I use to actually believe it was chicken!

With Marcia.....we'd have to hide that JEEP underground because she'd have her SON out looking for it with all that government connection he has!! :girly

And Ruttie........well she's just LUCKY that her MOM picked her up. I just know that girl would have been jumping in and out of that car and RUINING all that surgery.

Just stopping by one last time tonight. We had some rain about an hour ago, but beyond that it's been pretty calm around here. We'll be under a tornado watch until about 2 AM. Got home from the Grill a little while ago. It was beautiful there tonight! Not too much rain and the winds died down. A great spring evening with great "happy hour" specials... martinis and $10. bottles of wine. Guess which one I picked... LOL!!!!

The weather radio arrived yesterday and I already hate it! The d*amn thing went off last night about 3:30 and woke me up for about an hour. That's not going to cut it. From what they were saying earlier, tonight it might go off many times.

Garu just came in, so I better see what he wants. See ya tomorrow .....

I would like a weather radio too but I like my sleep ............if only it goes off when it is in my neighborhood....not all the time..........
