Good afternoon....beautiful sunny day here in Gilroy.

Well, the ATV trip went well. Stonyford was pretty good.....we like Shasta better though....many more miles of trails. Thursady evening Anthony and I had dinner at the Timberline Bar and Grill in Stonyford while we waited for Matthew to arrive. Gasoline was $4.198 in Stonyford....they sold it by the half gallon at $2.099!!!!!! I'm sure that the town as not changed at all since you were last there Christine....everything looked old. Ran into snow on the higher elevations.

Decided to leave on Saturday evening after a day of riding....left at 5:24 PM and got home at fifteen after midnight.....really tired. [stopped for dinner in Sacramento]

Sunday morning we cleaned up all the vehicles and put them in storage. Dinner at A&A's Sunday evening....John and Angelia also.

Spent the morning detailing the GMC.

Hugh and Nadine visited yesterday afternoon. She is deteriorating quickly....quite a change from last Wednesday. They are trying to go down to Disneyland this Wednesday....Hugh was a little doubtful about it.

Sorry to hear about Nadine. Really sucks to know that someone can go down hill so fast. Hope they get to at least take a ride to Disney if not actually walk around the place.

We're up to 40 degrees here right now. Not bad. The snow isn't exactly meltling away, but the piles seem to be strinking into the lawn!!

Later ..........gotta get back to my sewing project.:help I had to go and buy somemore of the same material because I didn't match the PATTERN lines and cut 2 pieces and on one the pattern was going the wrong way. And to think I even checked to make sure it didn't matter and it did. Bummer. I'm determined to make these darn PJ bottoms now for sure!! :cool:[/size]

Welcome back San.... But so sorry about Nadine... With some people, they just seem to go down so fast..... She is in lots of prayers.

Stupid question, why does this board say we all joined 2 years ago????

A little while ago, our thermometer said 52..... I started out with a sweatshirt and coat, and then took the coat off and threw it in the car......

7:28 pm and it's still DAYLIGHT out there!! Amazing how we can manipulate DAYLIGHT!! Hee Hee. B)-
Now if we could only find out how to make the temps in MICHIGAN be at 65 degrees from November to March I'd be a happy camper year round!!

San - Glad you had a nice trip...although cold...Sorry about Nadine

PH - yes, I answer to Chris and don't mind being called Chris. When we moved to Florida, I started using Christine, as everyone thought Chris was male. But, either one is fine with me. :)

K2 - Good luck with the pjs.

Marcia - Glad you're back on your energizer bunny feet...must have been hard for you to stay home. :D

Well, I'm gonna keep calling Christine Christine.....don't want any one to think she's a guy.

Yea, how do they do that Kathie?......the days stay lighter longer.....how do they make it match the time we change the clocks? Coincidence I guess. BTW, there are other places you could live where it won't impact your delicate little body. How come you don't go to Florida in January or February where it would get you out of some of the snow?

Angeline hadn't seen Nadine in a couple of weeks....after she left, she burst into tears....she saw even more of a difference than we did

Hi gang! Just checked my profile too and it says I joined 2 days after you, Kathie. I think most of us signed on here during one of CC's meltdowns, if I remember correctly.

Tony - Sorry to hear that Nadine is not doing well. I'll continue to keep her in my prayers.

Chris---bought my 12 pound Jenni O turkey today for 9 bucks!! We're gonna use the smoker one day for that..

Hey, that was a genuine, heartfelt thank you PH.....you got yourself into a pickle by making up that story. Talk about adding fuel to the fire!

Just finished dinner.... Had meatloaf, fried potatoes and fresh asparagus....... Now I'm stuffed......

Well, that would be nice. We might try that now that Art is retired. Couldn't do it while he was working. Not too sure I would have wanted to be in FLORIDA this year. They had way too much rain and cold days for someone from Michigan!! :)D Hopefully, by the time we get there this year it will be nice and warm and we can get some pool time in. We're paying to have that swimming pool at the house we rented HEATED so it should be just fine.

I had a few other names on this sight and had to re-sign up, but we all got on board about the same time. It's our HOME away from HOME!! :daisy

Okay, off to the CC board and then I need to check out the news on TV. Art's still at his BIKE CLASS so it's nice and peaceful here right now.

Kathy, glad you got a turkey...Jennie-O's are great. Still have one in my freezer, saving it for a rainy day ;) We don't do corned beef and cabbage...will have to find something else to replace that

Kathie - yes...you definitely couldn't handle the 70's and 80's of January and February...plus, I know you'd miss the snow...we don't have any.

The kids called and invited us to dinner...had BBQ chicken breast (bonesless/skinless), rice and veggies...they are going to Kentucky tomorrow, full load (10 horses) and returning with a partial load. Business has been a little slower than normal, so it's been a little tight for them...if it doesn't pick up, they may look for a second driving job.

Well, want to check out the other board and my roll calls.

Speaking of horses.......Christine, we passed a farm on the way to Stonyford that had field full of Clydesdales........don't know what they do with them.....didn't see any Budweiser signs or their wagons.

Yea, I remember you as [color=#FF000]Hotstuff[/color] K2.....I used to get all kinds of messages about you back then.....had to defend your reputation more than once......sorta like PH had to bail me out more than a few times.
