Doorbell rang a little while ago ... =docdance We're set to go on the Jewel!!!! Even with Rita away, we got our docs.

well, think I'll head to town early and go buy some more food............decided to do the Atkins diet for awhile........bought plenty of meats today but dont have any snacky kind of food.....................

Hopefully, I can stay in the neighborhood...I cruise RCCL, but also have done Carnival, HAL and Disney....and I have a Princess booked for 2009. I'll try to stay on the right side of the tracks.

My mom works part-time at Kohl's down in Clearwater...she said they always open in October when I told her that the sign said next weekend. Maybe they'll have a "soft" opening.

Work is settling down, still have a couple of teaching positions available...next big count is in October...we'll see what happens.

Also watching Kitchen Nightmares...isn't Macomb the town K2 lives in....by Detroit?

PH - What's that crack about my fancy smancy neighborhood supposed to mean? Just because we don't let the riff raff in without knowing the secret handshake (sort of like being able to enter the CL!), doesn't mean we're not like other people. Jeez ... now you've hurt my feelings .... sob sob!! You do know I'm just kidding, of course!

I can't believe Bert is still =sleep I've been up for hours. Missy accidentally called me on her way to work. She was trying to call her house and called me instead. Bummer, as I was sound asleep!

PQ - Glad things are settling down with the school system for this year.

PH - I don't see you here yet this morning, so it must have been late when you got back from picking up Dennis. Does he have to go back out again today, or will he be home for the weekend? Just think ... This time last week, we were heading for SOS! Now I do want to cry!!!!

Dennis was using my puter earlier so thats why Im on late...........hes cutting the grass now................hes home now till Sunday afternoon..........which sucks in a way..........was supposed to work tomorrow but they changed it........

Like Im sure it did for our Jewel TA pals..................today is their last day onboard........back to Boston in the morning.........one of these years,Im gonna do a TA............


Dennis' job called and asked if he wanted to work tomorrow after all..................so there goes our 2 days of "play".......hes napping now.........think I'll go to the mall tomorrow..................wanna get another pair of shorts I bought.........I love them and want a backup pair........also go to VS to pick up my free "gift"................love getting those coupons about once a month............

Sorry you and Dennis won't get to play too much this weekend after all. The up side is he's making $$$ and that's a good thing.

Have fun on your trip to the mall. I need to get out and find some new stuff for the Jewel trip. It'll be cool or down right cold in Boston the end of October. I need a few things to wear while there before we head south on the ship.

Thanks for allowing me in the neighborhood. Last week, you were living the high life and I was talking to myself....what a difference a week makes.

New Dentist? you mean you don't want to get "extra" prescriptions When Dr. Spivey worked at Coast Dental, before he opened his own practice, I had gone to him...he's good, you have to give him that. I go to Dr. Sol Aker, I love him...he's old school and his office is small and personal. He's located in the strip mall on Silver Springs/SR40 across from Publix...where Chelsea Coffee is located...I think the Bogartz is also in that plaza. Gary and I both like him.

Well, Gary's coming in with our dinner...BBQ steaks....baked potatoes in the oven, salad on the table and wine chilling...you're right it is TGIF!

This is the worst night for our friends on the Jewel - - - PACKING!!! I hope they all get their bags out by midnight like they were told to do. Otherwise, they'll be dragging them off themselves tomorrow morning

Just made fried shrimp sandwiches with coleslaw for dinner. How northeast is that? Also sliced tomatoes, drizzled them with red wine vinegar & EVOO, and topped them off with frest picked basil. That was sort of healthy, wasn't it?

Please don't remind me of last Friday night, PH. It makes me jealous of those on SOS now!

PQ--I do like Dr S and his work......its just he is sooooooooooo darn $$$$$$$$$$........I still cant blieve what has happened with that girl...........after all,she did the same thing in Orlando 2 years ago...........my biggest qualm is "dont they ask for references and check them out"???????????
