Good afternoon....another gloomy day on Wall Street. Hope that it turns around soon. Looks like the taxpayers may have gotten hoodwinked on the 700 Billion plus!

Installed a copier, printer, scanner this morning....naturally, I had to go buy an extra UPS cable that wasn't included!

Angeline gets to pick up her new Black on Black Ford Edge this evening.......looks like it's going to be a very nice vehicle....Navigation, Sirius, leather and most of the options.

Hi all..........

went out to get my nails done,then to Bealls to look for new sneakers...........I must had tried on every pair and left without buying a thing........i got overwhelmed..............I need Dennis' opinion..............I am not a good shopper.......

Got gas on the way home...$3.29(cash price was 3.24).........thats the lowest I have seen in a while....

stopped at Animal Control to get Max's license........NEVEr knew till now(and hes 11) you are supposed to license your animals(inc ferrets!!) in this county..............so while there,I had to look at the dogs......BIG mistake............I wanted to take them all home.....esp the purebreed boxer......I LOVE those dogs even since I watched Americas Greatest Dogs.........they cost alot and at the shelter,only $40..........But I dont need a third dog,esp one that big(when he stood up,he was as tall as me)........smart though...told him to sit and he did.........saw quite a few other cuties and it just breaks my heart that they are there.........

anyway......................BB-the door guy finished by 10........the door glass is so clean now.......no time yet for the dogs to get it dirty...............

55 is not bad?? brrrrrrrrrr NB.thats downright cold...........right now its 84........

Thats great they pay off all the student loans,Marcia,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.good incentive..........

We looked at new printers the other day too,San........but next time we're getting a wireless one so we both can use it easily......

This copier/scanner/printer was free, PH. Matthew got it free when he bought a new Mac Laptop from the University. Works nicely.

Going to get 4 new tires on the Envoy tomorrow. Originals lasted 57K+ miles.

Ordered new glasses yesterday. Signed up for the VSP government eye care insurance and found out it's very good. Getting $175 frames for $20 and all the fancy stuff for the lenses for $100.

I heard rumors for a while that America's got Talent was rigged for the fat guy to win. Then he and the UK opera singer winner would do Vegas together. Seems like there might have been something to that. Everybody posting on NBC after the show put him fifth. Not one poster out of a large number said they voted for him. Most everybody was for either Eli or Nuttin but Stringz.

I must have missed some posts.....just read back about the passports. Yes, we got them last year. Mine and Bailee's were in the safe so we don't need to renew them. Aimee's was just renewed in Feb....so we only had it for 3 months! In order to get new ones we have to fill out a Statutory Declaration of a lost or stolen passport and have it signed by a lawyer or notary public. Then we have to do the whole application over again....forms, pictures, guarantor and fees. It turned out to be a costly mistake leaving them in the car. I wish ours were good for 10 years.....5 isn't enough.

Tony, thanks for the heads up with the photocopy.....I wish I would have done that....Monty had to go to the police station to file a report (part of the new application process...the Declaration needs a police file number) and he was told that they couldn't file a report without the passport numbers and expiration dates. He had to go all the way back across Surrey to the passport office to get the numbers....they wouldn't give them out over the phone.....then he had to go back to the police station to file the report. It would have saved a lot of headaches to have the photocopy. As soon as we get the new ones I am going to get copies and put them in the safe.

Breeze, hockey is going really well. My team folded so I am playing in a different league out in Richmond....it's about a 30 minute drive, but I am really enjoying it. One of the ladies on the team has a daughter the same age as Bailee so we coach the girls team together. Monty is playing ice hockey and ball hockey this year and all three girls play too. Busy, busy, busy!

PH, you should buy that boxer! What a great deal and they are such wonderful dogs. My parents have a boxer. He's so smart and no trouble at all. Boxers are in America's top 5 family dogs....behind the labs and retreiver.

Ok, time to go to bed.

Marcia - Glad you're finally getting some of that much needed rain. Wish I could send you some of what we've been getting. We've had over 3 inches in the past 2 days with more coming today. Enough already ... We're supposed to be going into our dry season.

Not much going on around here today. Might have to con Bert into a shopping trip to Sam's, Beall's, and the craft store. We're going to Kris & Gary's for dinner tonight, so I don't even have to plan on cooking. YEAH!!!!

Good morning.

Paul, our daughter traded in her Envoy for a Ford Edge last night....nice car. Her Envoy had 93,000 miles on it [2002, bought July 15, 2001] It was always good on tires......it had it's third set and they were still practically new.

Nice to have a cruise booked, huh Nav. Glad you're making headway on the passports.

Will keep my eyes open for a Montana, PH.

San - The thing I liked is they checked the brakes and said they looked almost brand new. I had a GMC Suburban for 90K+ miles and had to get new brakes 3 or 4 times.

Busy on here today..........

I went back to the shelter(just so i could get Holly license) and had to visit the dogs again........I think the boxer remembered me............I swear if I didnt have 2 dogs already,I would take him in a heartbeat........they also had a yorkie mix which would make a perfect cell mate for Holly while she in the kennel.............it wagged its tail soooooooo hard...........Im with you Marcia,I wanted them all...............i went outta there with tears in my eyes.....its so heartbreaking...................I have to stay away...........

I know those boxers are really smart Andrea............I think they are the coolest dog ever.....................

BB-went to Kohls today for new sneakers...........today is also senior days........I wasnt quite old enough for that one though..........have to be 62....................

Where ya getting tires,Paul??? Got mine at Sams...........it was the best price around......

Congrats on the cruise,Andrea.............now keep in mind we dont do lists on here!!:lol

Chocolate Labs are absolutely the coolest dogs....hands down!!!!....not contest!!!!!

Angeline found a male three legged puppy [yellow lab] on Craig's List that she tried to get. It was born missing a leg. Matthew wanted to call it CB [for crippled bastard]....Angeline was going to call it Tripper. Anway, looks like someone else got to it first and she was heart broken.

I think Angeline put one set of brakes on the Envoy Paul. .....that's because she was always pedal to the metal......and hardly ever used the brakes.......don't know where she learned the fast driving from

Gary hates when he has to go to the animal shelter for jobs...he wants to pick up all the animals.

Just a quick peek from work...raining cats and dogs right now Hope it's raining at our house.

Its torrential here PQ.............was that way when we were at the shelter too...but come home,it was dry here............so you never know........................

I could never even work at animal control..............I saw people surrendering their dogs.........I wanted to cry..well, after I smacked them silly for doing such a thing...................I cant think of ONE good reason to get rid of your dog.................

The Newfoundlands look like big lumbering dogs that would have little agility.....sorta like a big bellied beer drinking fat guy with too much hair.
