Good morning! Here it is after 11 already and I feel like I'm getting an early start on here!
There should be a law against mowing the lawn at 8 AM on a Saturday morning! That's what time our lawn guy started today. I wanted to go out and beat him!!!
Went over to the Grill last night and hung out with our usual Friday night crowd. The chef had a special making REAL Cuban sandwiches. They were the best I've ever had! They were so big, it was a good thing we only ordered 1.
San - With you as the only guy around here, do you feel like you have a harem?:lol Better hope Nancy doesn't find out.
No coming soon signs used down here either except outside restaurants and banks. Both of them want you to plan in advance to give them your money!
I agree that you should just dig out your wallet and pay to have the rugs cleaned. The pros are so good at cleaning them and it certainly will save any wear and tear on your back. Now just do it!
PH - Glad you and Dennis will get to spend some time together. Too bad we're going to Kris & Gary's tomorrow or we could have met you at Sea World. Bert still gets 12 passes a year and we haven't used any yet. The kids used to claim them, but they all have annual passes and don't need them. I keep saying that I want to go to SW one evening after it cools down. So far, we haven't made it.
K2 - Have a wonderful time at the wedding. Lucky you to have the temps cool down a few degrees. It's going to be hot as h*ll around here for the coming week.
KC - I also agree that you're one of the last people who needs to lose any weight. Just go ahead and eat to your heart's content!
Ruttie - You behaving yourself over there? You really do need to get those pain meds. With all you've gone through, you don't need to be suffering in pain. I bet Richard agrees with me and you're fighting him on this, right?

oh goody, I've always wanted to be a kept woman....if we're San's harem he has to take care of us right???
had a nice time with my sisters, they brought all the food and we ate, swam & drank all afternoon....to bad none of the drinking was the "adult" kind....oh well it was fun and boy did I get some sun today....going to be wearing something really light to church tommorrow..at least it doesn't hurt or anything....
BB, one of these weekends when it cools off I am gonna come down & check out that grill of yours..it sure sounds like a fun place..
Thinking about booking the Enchantment for next Sept...they have some ok prices and I'd really like to sail her once more before they move her. My sister Barb would really like to do another sister's cruise so we may try that..course they need passports so we'll see...

Hi eeveryone looks like everyonne had a busy day today
BB richard was cutting teh grass at 9;30 he wanted top do it at 7:30 while it was cool and I tol him teh rule was it had to be after 9 just like no call after 9 at night,....
PH how was seaworld?? last time we went we fif a new program dinner with shamu it was AWESOME and worth all the extra money,,,
we get teacher passes plus teh boys get the pay once go all year vut we have not been in a few years... maybe we will try ot fit that in before school since iot is free,..
I am still not sleeping and aftre I google Bard Kugel Hernia mesh recall and read some of teh stuff i totally freaked myself out so i did a bad thing and I went swiming swimming clears my mind so stitches and all i swam with teh boys todau fron anout noon till 3 PLUS i pooped and had a popscicle it was an incredible hulk or dora one but gosh it was thirst quenching!!!
GM or K2 which one went ot see hairspray?? how was it would teh boys sit through it they love nusicals and dancing but if there was a lot of down time and plot i am not sure..
SAn where are you I am a bit worried about you.. hope all is well
tomorrow thw whole family is getting together to celebrate ny bday since my brothers will be ona cruise on my actyal day they are doign COSTA i tried to warb them but theyu know best.....
and my parenst are going to branson and on to chicago for another rund of basebball and fanily and new nephews,,,,
so we are going to one of my fav restaubts bect tine you guys come we will have to go it is called ASHLEYS and it is a HAunted railroad depot that has been cobverted about 50 yrs ago to a restraunt it is on the offical list of haunted places in the US I hope a train comes by while we are there so my boys can gere the ghosts!! I am sucha bad mom i have totally freaked them iout!!! We are also doing a movie it is a toss up between wonderdog?? and hairspray so it should be a busy day,,

San....how's the back feeling? I agree you need to have a carper cleaner do the carpeting. It's inexpensive compared to the damage to your back!!! That coming soon is a good idea in trying to get a sale before it actually goes on the market.

Hi all............
Home from SeaWorld.......had a really good time........we got there as the gates opened.....first thing Dennis did was ride Kraken(rollercoaster).not me,I watched..then we walked around alot and ate lunch at the place with the dueling pianos.......it was fun......we did a beer tasting along with a food pairing...different......then we had tons of free beer.......it was really hot day for that.....Dont think I'll be up late tonite..(Oh yea, Shamu got us soaked even though we didnt sit in the "soak" zone)
Looks like a beautiful wedding K2......nice pics....
bet the boys would like SeaWorld Ruttie and free is the way to go....so glad we didnt have to pay the $60+ admission pp or the $10 parking.....I dont know how families do it....

Canceled Disney I am just not up to it I am gonna not say any more about it becasue i want this to be a positive web sight I figure since I can get my house back for a few weeks it will be like a mini vacation.....heck if you ladys want to come have an informal lunchaon one day I am all for it,,,,,

monring everyone gosh it is steamy already.
One of my b day gifts is getting my car cleaned i amean really cleaned (ithink they call it detailing in car lingo) carpet washed, leather seast cleaned etc.... anywayit is a goft from my brother necasue I am always running around and never have teh time to do it so this morning he picked it up at 7 and says it will be back by 10:00 Yipee and very thoughtful Brothers just when you think all thye are good for are farts and buggers they do something nice like this anyway when i was up woth him this morning it was steamy!
Did I mention we went to one of my fav places last night?? well I now know the key to sleeping FOOD!!! I was soo stuffed from my fav food PLUS i hada piece of cooke cake (i am not a cake eater sop they always get me a cooke cake from great american cookie compamy) well PLUS my FAV desert inthe whole world (since i don't eat desert really ever) any way it is grasshopper pie ever herd of it is is delish! My sister in law droe 20 miles to a place called chpwders where they make them fresh so betweent he food, the pice of cookie cae and the tiny err i mean HUGE slice of pie i had my tummy was full amd i slept all night well from like 11 till 5 which is awesome so my day i off to a great start hope everyone elses is also......

Good morning.
Very busy weekend, it just flew by. Help my friend Hugh build some test equipment for work....it's a big project and we are only about half way done. Went out to dinner with them on Saturday night.
After we worked yesterday morning, we went down to Gilroy and I helped John install a Bose speaker system for his family room.....he now has surround sound all installed in the walls. Then we went to Famous Dave's for dinner .....got home at 10:45 PM in time to watch Ice Road Truckers.
Dentist appointment this morning, then a little more work to do on the house. We have our "dusty shoe" walk through on the new house on Wednesday......they're moving pretty quick with it.....dry wall is ready to install after the walk through.
Glad that you got some sleep, Ruttie. .....And PH, it sounded like you and Dennis had a nice "together weekend". In fact, it seemed that Kc and K2 also had a party weekend to.
My back is now doing well, GM....I keep working, but take it easy......it seems to get better if I do that rather than lay around. Stopped taking the muscle relaxants as they made me feel bonkers in the head!

SAN: Nice to know you're doing better in the "BACK" dept. You should do some STRETCHING exercises each day. Walking is good too.

Before they put in the drywall you should wire your WALLS for Surround Sound and cable and phone stuff too. We had our house pre-wired when we built it and it really helped with the phones and cable. Didn't get into "Surround Sound wiring"!! :daisy

They will not allow us to add anything to the house, K2.....if we do, they rip it out and charge us. There are already phone and TV outlets in all the rooms. I had them wire for rear speakers[$s] in the family room, so I am all set.
Had a chipped tooth repaired, got a hair cut, fueled the Pontiac [$2.919 at Arco ....cheap station] made some phone calls.....now I need to install some new vanity cabinet doors ready for the new counter tops. Oh, I need to wash the Pontiac also....really dirty as I didn't clean it while my back was hurting.
