PH: I just had a prescription called into our Meijers store earlier today!! IT'S on their LIST and FREE!! It's wonderful.

Ashley caught a little "sunfish" at the park and Art said she released it back. They ran out of WORMS!! The fish were scamming them off the hook!!

Headache is still there, but NOT POUNDING like it was.

Hi Marcia. Little over six weeks and we leave for Alaska.

Replaced the master bath vanity doors.....bought them on the internet for just over $100 with shipping.[4]. The hinges took a long time to install.....they're the European kind.......look better though.

Looks like our "coming soon" sign is working......Mike has had several calls on it.......one sounds really serious.....we'll see.....doesn't go on the market until the 15 TH. Vanity tops should be in this week......we'll see.

SAN: Good to hear you're getting calls already on the house. I just hope you put the PRICE UP HIGH enough to begin with. I just know you won't have a hard time selling that place even if you didn't do all the EXTRAS you've been doing. You and Nancy have kept it nice for all these years and it will show.
Have you gone around to any OPEN HOUSES in your area to see just what other places look like inside??? Always a fun thing to do.

Im headed to Tampa later this morning.........gonna help Lauren pack and move some stuff.......she is moving outta her one apt into another.....thing is she has a 8 day gap between the 2.....so she got a storage center unit to keep some stuff and will stay at her dads in the meantime.......she has her walk thru in her old apt(to look for damage,Im sure) tomorrow so we want to get as much out now......she has to be out shortly after that..

So Im sure I'll be sweating later....hahah!!

morning have fun moving today ph
so such is my life....
yesterday richard gets up at 7 and leaves to go to work.... as soon as he closes the door EVERYONE in the house is up and wanting attention including the animals... so I literally get no piece all morning/half of teh day....
Today i get up at 7 take shower dry hair (everyone still sleeping) go get my sticthes out and come home and guess what??!!!! Yep they are still sleeping.... FIGURES.... I swear richard could roll in a pile of donkey dung and come out smelling like roses.....
I know I know that was uncalled for but have you guys ever really noticd the one sided ness of being a mom.. i mean even with a good guy like richard who would do the world for me.... I still get teh "bye i am leaving for work...."
we are having a problem with what to do next week becasue my mom ALWAYS watchhes the kids teh week teachers go back but this year she has taken a 4 week drivng trip with my dad....(to nowwhere and everywhere if that makes sense) anyway so I arranged for a friend to watch tehm the first day which is the most important day and then i said i would just bring them with and let them help in my room then i did something that must have been some jewish sin!!! ok cross your fingers and throw some salt over your shoulder .....
I actually suggested that since i am taking teh boys one day to school WHY doesn;t richard take teh boys one day.... !!!! HA i said it and no lightning crashed down........ I mean heaven forbid a man take the kids to his work......its not as if we dont; do the same thing......
ok then i thought everyone at my school know s and loves my boys.. Maybe its best if they at richards school jsut keep that vision in their head that i am sure richard built up of them being angels with wings and all.. (my vison has a forked tail also but hey
seriously I know i know i will survive this whole mom thing but being an independant lady and knowing you guys are all independant ladies yourself gives me hope..

My brother took alex for 3 days down to little creek and had him with teh "BOYS" now that was a leap of faith if i ever had one,,... Hmm i wondr if little creek could survive both of them maybe i will ship them off to my brother for a week thats a thought... hmmmmm yeah a really good one.... they are training rigth now what better way to train our soldiers tham to play hide and seek with a 7yr old who has no fears... yeah oh yeah thos is soundng better all the time... gotto run I am gonna try to reach out and touch someone....

So tell us......this COMING SOON SIGN.......means less commission percentage paid by you to the realtor?? I guess that's because he didn't have to do much work and can move on to the next VICTUM!! Hee Hee. What percentage rates do you guys have out in your area. Here the standard is 6 or 7%. Sometimes you can get them to split it between the buyer and seller if you set it up that way. It's still the biggest rip in the world.
You and Nancy are doing all the PREP-WORK getting the house ready and all the real estate guy did was poke in the sign. And most of the time they have a maintenance man in a truck running around putting out the signs. So basically the R/E guy just had you sign the papers and plugged the info into the computer. REMIND HIM of those facts when he collects his BIG CHECK!!

Good morning.

No, I wouldn't have taken the kids to work, Ruttie......wouldn't have worked at the time. We were lucky enough that Nancy could stay home and raise the kids ever since they were born. Times have changed though.

If the house sells before it goes on the market, I save some commisssion. It's usually six percent, but our guy is doing it for 5 if there are two realtors and two agents involved......less if it is just him. I know him well, and I can tell you that he really works hard for the money he gets.....I've been with him when he gets some of the difficult phone calls. He also says that agencies charge realtors for everything...plus take half of what he gets.

Keep working on the house today.

Good luck with the move PH....hopefully it will go easy seeing as it's just her and a small place......still a pain though.

did not miss anything K2 I had a small spot removed from my back they said it was between a zero & astage 1 (whatever that means) and no big deal they got it all had it doen last week on my back was suppose to stay out of sun/wate yeah right!! sticthes did not hurt at all but i developed a wicked rash where the tape/bandage was i now have a red square burned into my shoulder hopefully it will fade and go away.....
WOw that is a great idea a coming soon sign... never herd of that but hey seems liek a great idea especially if somone is looking in your area and there are other houses already up for sale makes them wnat to wait and check yours out also...
Plus can you sell on your own and not have to pay realitor fees or is it a realitors coming soon sign???

he is at work again setting up his class. I of course am so organized that it only took us 2 hrs yetsreday and it is mostly done now aall I have ot do when i go is plan and organize materials....
I made chicken divan for teh boys it smells so yummy but i only had 2 checiken breasts and a half of a package of broccoli so it really is only enough for them teh curry smells heavenly though i may have to sneak a bite.. although they have already had seconds..... I am gonna do japanese for myself later....

I don't know how many times I have tried to post between yesterday and today and got interrupted each time. Here's hoping this time will be different. Bert's just heading out, so that should be one less person to bother me! Now I just have to hope Missy doesn't show up. She's due for her daily visit or phone call to meet her at the Grill. That girl has got to get a life!!!

It's as hot as he!! around here! To give you an idea of how hot it is, I told Bert last night that I'm ALMOST sorry we didn't put in a pool! We could always use Kris & Gary's pool while they're at work, but it's too hot to even drive the 6 miles to their house. AC wouldn't hardly cool the car off.

San - Sounds like you're really moving along with the bathrooms. I wouldn't have thought to buy the vanity doors off the internet either. Did you get the carpet cleaned? Bet you're ready to get this show on the road!
Laurie & Ron are getting their house ready to go on the market too. They're painting the whole inside of the house and then getting new carpet throughout the place. Realtor says that being their house is at the low end for a real house and not a mobile, it should sell very quickly. They're heading up to NC the end of the month to get an idea of what they can expect to pay for a house up there.

PH - We've never been to Tijuana Flats either. Missy, Jimmy and the boys go there all the time and they love it. I'm not a fan of Mexican food, so we usually pass when they're going there.

Ruttie - I too want to know about this removal of stitches. What's that all about? I vote for Richard to take the boys with him. It's good for them to know what and where daddy works. Jimmy has Justin with him in south Florida this week and they'll be going to work together. Justin loves it.

K2 - Glad your headache is better. Bet it's from all the junk in the air this time of the year. I know that's what gets my allergies kicking into high gear.

Time to find something for lunch while it's still quiet.

1......her 3 other roomies are already friends and she doesnt like them that much

2......only 9 visitor parking spaces and her friends are always getting towed...

3.....she wanted an apartment with only one other roomie.......

4.moving into a complex where 2 other friends live.........


It really wasnt bad moving at all...think I got my exercise walking upstairs....shes on the 3rd floor.......

lunch was yummy......

PH: Glad you made it through the move!! I remember lugging boxes for Jill when she was on the 3rd floor of her Dorm the first year she went to college. Hotter than heck then too!!

BB posted: You'll hear them GASP all the way down to Kissamee when they check out some of those prices on the homes UP THERE!! My niece lives in Raliegh and she paid close to $400,000. for her place a few years ago. But it has a beautiful big lot that came with TREES on it. I'm sure they'll find something.

Cleaned out the laundry room and garage today. Fighting on the phone with vendors that don't keep promises......got what I wanted in the end though. Nancy has been packing stuff from outr bookcases etc. Lot of boxes going to storage on Saturday.

I went out on the deck earlier and was watering the flower boxes on the railing and there must have been 35 ducks pecking away at the cracked corn Art put out for them and trying to pick up any bird seed that had fallen from the feeder. Well, I was standing on the stairs of the deck and watering the potted tomato plants when one of them decided to come right up to me. TOO FUNNY. Then I walked to the garden area and was watering that area and I grabbed some of the cracked corn from this tray Art has on the ground and that DUCK slowly came up to me and ate right out of my hand. Now that's a first in all the years we've lived here and have been feeding these ducks. Can't wait to tell Art when he gets home from his bike ride!!! (tu)

Man I am soooo out of shape...I used my cordless weed eater last nigh & my arms are so sore today.....I can hardly type the muscles are shaking so bad..
