Mornin’ everybody.
What a responsible groomer Dave! Nice that she wants to ensure that all the pups who come in for grooming aren’t likely to spread or pass anything on to others.
I’m glad you Kathie, and Dave, enjoyed seeing the giraffes. There are two different types of giraffes at The Animal Kingdom. They are indeed very graceful when they move. I always feel bad for the newborns who plummet 5 - 6 feet to the ground!
Ava just kind of glanced at the armadillo with a “what the heck kind of dog are you?” look on her face. The armadillo had pretty much the same reaction and continued looking for whatever it was looking for in the grass.
You’re not having much luck with “stuff” around your house Dave. Out of stock toilets and water heater parts.
Our guests are packing up this morning. We will be sorry to see them leave as there are so many other things in the area that we think they may have enjoyed.
You good people have a fantastic Thursday.

Good morning. It is going to be a warm day here.

This evening we are going to Benihana's for dinner to celebrate our 49th anniversary. Since we have 6 $10 off cards and can only use one per order we are going early and will go to the bar for a drink and appetizer pay that bill then will go upstairs for dinner and be able to use another card. I also have a couple of coupons to use. One is for $14 and was a nice surprise and then a birthday certificate for $30. Can't use them together so will see if we can use the $14 one in the bar with the appetizer.

All have a great day.

Warmer and sunnier today than yesterday but breezy. Good to see some new instead of repeats on some of our favorite tv programs. Also happy to see a better selection of news stations than what is available on RCI's ships, which are limited to BBC, MSNBC and Fox. If I had to listen to the constant, and same, several years'old MSNBC promos for more than a few days I would likely go crazy. I quickly tire of hearing the commentators story about how his immigrant father ran for office, was soundly defeated, but told his son that " the important thing was that someone who looked like him, could run". Seems like they have five minutes of news followed by eight minutes of promos. I think I would prefer more commercials than all those network promos.
Seems like a lot of your household fixtures have reached their expiration date, Dave. Pretty soon you will have replaced just about every thing with brand new items. I share your frustration when you find that the items you need are out of stock or have to be "special-ordered".
Found a new pizza and Italian food restaurant close to where we are staying and had some excellent subs yesterday.

Time to relax and rest up in anticipation of our next cruise adventure which will be on February 3rd out of Fort Lauderdale. Drive there shouldn't be as difficult as our trip to Miami last week. Ship is not quite as large or as filled with special features as Icon but it should be fun and it is 7 nights instead of 3.
Congratulations on your 49th wedding anniversary Nancy. We will be celebrating our 56th on the day we disembark from the Symphony on February 10th.

Name one thing us guys have learned to NEVER say about our sweet wives Bill. ;)
How are things in MI Kathie.
If you’re popping in to read along Karen, I sure do miss you. Hoping all is well with you, your kitty kids and your sisters.
Tomorrow? It’s Friday as far as I can remember.

Our landline quit working and I spent a lot of time fooling with it but finally gave up and called the tech, heew will be here Monday. I need the landline because of my closed caption phone. Fay has her cell phone.
Our Benihana closed years ago.

Lots of good chatter on here today!

Dave. Bummer on the Water Heater parts not being available locally. Thank goodness for the Nephew contractor coming to the rescue! Good thing it wasn’t a part for the furnace!
Art wants to know if it’s a GAS or ELECTRIC heater and what the bad part called? It’s a GUY question!
Art STARTS Physical Therapy next Friday for his shoulder with the same Therapist I have been seeing.
We just LOVE supporting the medical facilities. I should say our insurance company is supporting these visits! Thank goodness.

Lee: Are you and Lu-Ann planning a day off from going to Disney Springs now that your guest are gone? Do you have to pay for parking there? I know it was free back when we use to go there, but that’s been a while back!
It was 40F here in our neck of the woods today. Gloomy, but at least a LOT of the snow melted.
Just glad we don’t live in San Diego or Louisville both flooding really bad.

Bill: How neat having YET ANOTHER cruise scheduled! You and Rita should just book BACK to BACK continuous cruises and skip the Vero Beach rental!:emoticon 0102 bigsmile:

:emoticon 0115 inlove::whiteflag: Hi Karen!

Mike: Did you forget your PASSWORD? Hope you and Fay are doing good over your way! Jump in and say HELLO any time!

AND JUST LIKE THAT YOU SHOW UP. HA HA. HOPE YOU GET YOUR LAND LINE BACK UP ON MONDAY WITHOUT ANY ADDED ISSUES.

Bill: Do you follow LAW & Order series? They’re all new and 3 different series.
Law & Order
Law & Order Special Victims
Law & Oder Organized Crime

By the way how’s your HIP been doing lately?

Out of here. Have a good sleep Wrabbits!

Good for both you and Art doing your physio Kathie! So many people quit because they think it’s too hard, takes up too much time or think they can do better on their own. I love to encourage those who stick with it! I hope your local medical centres at least send you a Christmas card thanking you for your support.
We only had our guests to The Springs twice where parking is still free. We really tried to give them a ”Readers Digest” look at some of the “free” things Disney offers. Like using the monorail and Disney watercraft to visit hotels and restaurants.

Law & Oder Organized Crime
I heard that series stinks. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:
It’s too bad the phone company doesn’t realize the importance of your land line and get out sooner Mike! Bell at home considers any repairs outside your walls their responsibility and inside your walls is on you to pay for.
Good night good friends.

"I always feel bad for the newborns who plummet 5 - 6 feet to the ground!" Since they are giraffes and don't have hands, ya think it might be nature's way of patting the newborn on the back to get them breathing, Lee? :)

Lucky you Bill, soon going on another cruise. Being a 7 nighter, I'm betting that it's not one of your freebee cruises.

Mike; I like our landline phone. It's more reliable than cell phones. Heck, Kathi gets more SPAM calls on her cell phone than come in on our house phone.

Tell Art that our water heater is natural gas, K2. And the part needed is a package of thermo-coupler and mounting bracket. Which came in to our nephew/ contractor last evening. So he'll be here at 8 this morning to install it. And while here will also finally fix the front storm door. Its' needed parts came in on Wednesday.

For some reason, us seniors do make sure we support the financial success of the medical businesses. We're such a generous bunch.

Jack and Fuzzbutt say Howdy, KC.

Oh the roller-coaster weather. It's 58 degrees at the moment. But the temperature has begun to drop. On its' way to the lower 40's by the end of the day.

66F for our early morning walk. We’re headed for a high around 81F.
Something has changed in this neighbourhood. We rarely used to see bunnies. Now we never see fewer than a half dozen on our morning walk. So far only one armadillo though.
At least your nephew can take care of a couple of small jobs for you this morning Dave. You could be right about the giraffe drop.
We need Tom Beaudette from Motel 6 to leave a light on for Karen.
I’ll check back later on to see how you’re all doin’.

Good morning. Dinner last night was of course very good. And of course we both brought home some food for lunch.

Bruce got me two non Lego sets and today I will check to see what size the bricks are and how the instructions are. If size is good and instructions good then I will do, if not good then I will have Bruce return and let him know to only get actual Lego.

All have a great day.

Just in case you Wrabbits have lost track.... It's FRIDAY! (again)
Wow this week flew by.

Lee: Great picture you posted. At first I thought it was patches of Snow, but it's CLOUDS.
Nice to finally read that you'll be getting into the 80's later today. That pool is going to soon get some use! :clap002::smilie5: Time to get those WHITE LEGS TANNED! Ha ha.

Dave: Any chance Kathi could take a picture of Jack and FuzzButt and post them for us. I'd like to see what they look like. Thanks.
Nice that the needed parts are in and by the time I get done posting this the GREAT NEPHEW will have everything fixed. Don't forget to take that SHOWER today!
Sad Shower GIF by LINE FRIENDS

Thanks for the info Art requested. I'll be sure to pass it on to him. We have a GAS water heater too. Gas anything is good when you have Electrical LINES on POLES that can hang from freezing rain/ice/snow and cause a black out.

We must have gotten some good RAIN during the night. The CREEK is UP and the DUCKS are having a blast doing races going Southward as the water flows. Then some of them FLY back up and do it again. Fun to watch. There must be 40 of them out there. 40F degrees here now. Suppose to RAIN MORE soon and be gloomy all day. WORKS FOR ME. Just as long as the temps don't drop below freezing.

Bill:
Wake up and get your MRS a cup of coffee! Ha Ha.
I still remember dear Tony bringing his Nancy a glass of Orange Juice UP to the room in the morning. What a guy! Miss him and his funny remarks.

Yesterday for some reason I was wondering if Bert was taking good care of all of Mama Bunnies Orchids. She had some real beauties.

Okay, that's it from me. Might go for a drive (3/4 of a mile) to Kroger's to pick-up a few items on the "LIST"! If it's raining......it can wait.

Later gang.

Lee/Lu-Ann be safe out in the streets of Kiss-my-A-- and Orlando. :wink2:

Marcia, Tony, Pat…there always seems to be something that brings a good memory to mind of time spent with them Kathie.
We
are expecting Lisa and Shiraz on Monday staying for 5 nights. They are on their way to Texas to visit her brother. She says the weather and traffic has been brutal and is hoping for a small break from it all here. Small world though. Our next door neighbours here are from Goderich. You and Art know that town well Kathie. Anyway, the neighbour taught Lisa’s brother in high school and her husband played hockey and baseball with “Flipper” as Lisa’s Dad was known.
I do hope everyone has had a good day!

Lee….What a small world having neighbors next to you from Goderich!
Ask them how they like the new owner’s of Culbert’s Bakery. They’re n Facebook and I drool every time they post the Cream Filled donuts!
How nice that Lisa & Shiraz will be visiting. I see a repeat of showing Lisa around Disney Springs! Lisa should have a nice visit with your neighbor regarding her brother being taught by one of the. Should be a fun visit.
Art and I will be showing up the week before you leave for home. Ha Ha. Is the place rented out after you leave? I could use a little SUNSHINE right about now.
Didn’t rain here today. But it was so dreary outside from the clouds I wasn’t going out to the grocery so at all. It can wait.
Not sure why the PRINT went from Big to VERY SMALL in my earlier post. Hate when that happens.

By the way Lee….. Law & Order Organized CRIME IS MY LEAST favorite of the 3 shows. Not a happy group at all.
Nite all.

The house is rented Kathie. It’s getting in to spring break time. That’s why we started coming down and going home a week earlier than when we first came to FL. It’s good for Sunshine though because with us gone rates go up that week. AND she can charge US dollars AND charge for pool heat. The deal we have been getting from Sunshine is we pay a little less than her management company is advertising except we pay her directly in CDN dollars and pool heat is included. The rate alone saves us about 35% exchange on the 8 week rental plus $1400USD ($1890 CDN) in pool heat!
That must be fun watching your ducks. I do hope you have all your ducks in a row. :emoticon 0102 bigsmile:
Time to take Ava for her bedtime walk.
See ya in the morning.

Good morning. It has rained a bit but it is not supposed to rain much more. Temp should reach 80.

I decided that Bruce should return the second kit he gave me as I know the pieces are just too small. He wants to give it to Jennifer for her and Max to make.

All have a great day.

A quick trip to Home Goods and Trader Joe’s in Doctor Phillips this morning. That’s the TJ’s our Pat was always trying to convince Bert to go to. We went early to avoid as much traffic between the Disney, Sea World and Universal exits as we could. It kinda worked.
Sitting at the pool now with a nice coffee wondering what the folks at home are doing. Oh, wait, they’re all either here or on their way here. ;)
I hope you all have a dandy day!

Welcome back to the hutch, Mike. You and Fay have been away too long.
You have a point, K2. It might be cheaper to cruise for three months instead of paying the rental for our lodging and also having to pay for groceries, dining out and many of the other incidental expenses that would be available on the ship.
This next one is only 6 nights and it goes to Jamaica, Labadee, and Nassau, all ports we have visited many times, and isn't free but a very reasonable fee.

Since Rita doesn't drink coffee, I can't get her a cup in the morning, but I do turn on the tea kettle for her when I am brewing my coffee.
Not sure that the Church would certify this event as a genuine miracle but: shortly after we arrived her, my hearing aid ceased working. I took it to a local hearing center and they made an appointment for me to see the audiologist after we came back from the Icon. When we got back, I couldn't find the hearing aid but Rita eventually found it in the laundry (I must have put it in my shirt pocket and it went through the washer and dryer.) I put it in the hearing aid charger overnight and this morning, it is suddenly working. Will still see the audiologist to make sure it is working properly but it is wonderful to be able to hear clearly again.
I've never been a big fan of the Law and Order series but I do watch them occasionally, especially when there is nothing else on worth watchiemperaturng. I do have a bit of a hard time getting used to Christopher
Meloni's new look.
Florida's crazy weather continues. It will be 80 today but tomorrow and the following several days the high temperatures are forecast to be in the 60's and 70's, with occasional rainy periods.
