I don't know about you guys, but my world is just going to fall apart if they pull the plug on TikTok this weekend.

It's ironic Lee that I heard that "Bird is the Word" song just a couple of days ago. Seeing the video of it is totally new for me.

Well.......So much for you being shy and innocent, K2. I too like watching the birdies. Looking out the window above the kitchen sink made me keep standing there yesterday. Into a snow covered bush less than 15 feet away, both a bluebird and a redbird landed at the same time yesterday. Already in that bush were 3, small, and less colorful birdies. Everyone just minding their own business and not being territorial.

Today and tomorrow it shouldn't be too bad outside. Typical winter weather hovering around freezing. BUT Monday and Tuesday they are calling for severe cold. The coldest in years. Lucky to hit 10 degrees. Mike, you'll be lucky to hit 2 degrees.

So what's cooking in your tropical town, KC?

Here's a hoot....Kathi is taking 3 grandkids to Lowe's this morning for one of their build-it sessions for kids. And what are they making? A little wooden truck.......that has a plow on the front of it.

Good morning. We actually saw temperatures yesterday afternoon that started with “7”. There was a bright ball in the sky that cast these dark things that seemed to mimic everything we did. I heard a native call them “shadows”.
It does look like a couple of warmer days but possibly wet Kathie. Considering the forecast at home, we’ll take it. The weather guessers are predicting snow in The Panhandle. Not unheard of but rare.
The choreography in that music video cracked me up too Dave. Have you seen the trend some cities and towns have begun? They name their snow plows. Really! A few of my favourites are “CTRL, SALT, DELETE“, Alice Scooper, Creedence Clear Road Revival, Betty Whiteout. The list is huge!
I miss seeing The Jays and Cardinals but we do see some beautiful birds here.
I hope that you are prepared for the extreme cold in your area Mike. A good supply of warm clothes, coffee and cookies for you and Fay.
Extreme cold is all relative though. Even temps in the 20’s and 30’s would be considered extreme in your area Karen. You and you family stay warm too.

38F at 6:00 a.m. and now at 9:47 am it's dropped to 36 degrees. Still now rain or flurries like they predicted. I love WRONG predictions!

The news stations have advertised that parking at some of the lots is $150! One place had a computer glitch and it was $1,000. The city shut them down and a judge made them let the place re-open when they found out it was a computer error. I guess if you can pay thousands for a football ticket, you can afford the $150 for parking and just pay it. TOTALLY CRAZY.

Dave: I never got into Tic Tok. The name alone turned me off.
Bless Kathi for taking on 3 of the grandkids. She's a real trooper doing that.

WHO he wondered aloud would schedule NFL, NBA and NHL all on the same night within blocks of each other? And WHY he again wondered would you schedule an NFL game at night in Detroit in January? That said, “GO LIONS”.
A rainy start to the day has given way to sun and 74F. We wandered to The Springs after the rain to have a coffee and people watch. So nice to be able to sit out.
I echo Kathie Miss Karen. Please pop on to let us know all is well. If it’s not, we’ll, we’re here for you and that too.
Add me to the “who cares if TicTok goes dark” group. Oddly enough as Lu-Ann and I wandered through The Springs today I commented on all of the people with their faces buried in their damned phones missing everything around them.
But this menu item at the pizza place made me giggle…

It must be darned fine wine if it’s $12.00. A can!

Are you going to help build the trucks Dave. Dave. we will be lucky if the temps hit 0. A lt of my friends growing up were first generation italians. I learned a lot of those words and my Father was Greek, I didn't learn too many from him but a few from my Greek friends. Yes, I remember most of them. A funny but true story. In one of my HS classes, the girl sitting in front of me was dating a guy so I taught her some Czech love phrases, years later at my 60th HS reunion I saw and asked her about the phrases and did they work. She told me they must have, she has 11 kids. A true story, I kid you not

Yes K2, I watched the Lions' game last night. Maybe I shouldn't have. And to think that all this football will come to an end soon. I just can't get all that enthused about basketball or any of the other winter sports.

The media here isn’t very reliable. They say that Washington beat the Super Bowl favoured Detroit Lions. They’re also reporting trump 2.0 takes office tomorrow. I’m hoping both articles are “fake news”.
Kathie, The Lions did give their fans a darned good season. I was hoping for a Bills / Lions Super Bowl. What delicious smells will be in your kitchen today?
Not just any wine Dave. “Premium Wine”. I’ll miss the NFL too.

I called Missing Persons earlier and they're going to see if Karen showed up for church today before they send out the FBI. Hope all is well with our gal.

Well, I just saw on this computer that "Snoop Dog" switched his allegiance and is a Trumpster. He performed in some kind of "Crypto Ball" for Trump. (crypto is that new money some idiots are investing in) It's going to be hard to see Snoop in those commercials he's been on lately. Another one bites the dust.

Nothing planned here today. I might start reading a book to take up some of the time.

Well, it’s 10:00 pm Sunday and the temp here is now 10 degrees. I have watched it go down since about 4:00 pm.

Tomorrow it will be 1 degree.
I know you all must be sick of me constantly doing a weather report on here, seems like I just can’t stop myself. Forgive me!

Art said that on Monday the only thing he will be doing is STAYING AWAY FROM TELEVISIONS and the RADIO.

I most likely will watch TV long enough to see what Melania wears!

It's A Monday. A very busy one. It's Martin Luther King Jr. Day for starters. The Buffoon gets back in the Oval Office to screw things up again. THE Ohio State Buckeye's may win over Notre Dame this evening. (Hope so!) And much of the country will be freezing their tushies off today. We're already down to 4 degrees. And by tomorrow morning it'll be a few degrees colder than that.

The pool party has been cancelled.

I'm like you K2; Investing in any crypto currency is almost an assured way of losing money. As for Snoop Dog supporting the orange guy.......I think it's just part of a crypto currency deal he's made to make some money. (Which I doubt he will.)

Good morning.
Not quite as cold a start to the morning as I was expecting. Still, it’s a full 25 degrees colder now than it was at this time yesterday.
I think a lot of people and media outlets are “sucking up”, sorry I don’t know any other way to phrase it, to the soon to be president. I too was disappointed to see Snoop at bat for the other team. Could the flags at half staff and cold as he77 weather be a precursor for the next four years? I sure hope not. But enough about that.
I’m wondering about investing in crypto currency. Once I’ve made my unimaginable fortune I will promote the “Men vs Boys Bowl”. The top ranked college team will play the Super Bowl winners for all the marbles.
Not much else this morning.
