The temps here are like every ones and it is going to get warm Wed. it was nice until 3, then rain then nice again,
Thanks for the pictures of the daffodils Kathie, they are a nice sign of spring. I hope you can find the problem with your back soon.
It sounds like a very nice time today Karen, we had our lawn mowed this morning.
I'm just guessing but it could be a croc tired or Fl. fish or msybe the Detroit river monster. Have a good night all..

Good morning.
Lu-Ann has a doctors appointment this morning. I will pop in to the pharmacy and drop off a refill for my eye drops and pick up the scripts we ordered on line on the weekend. It’s all in the same building.
The back yard especially was starting to look like it needed a trim so I did get the grass cut yesterday Mike. With our little battery powered mower I wanted to get to it before it got too long or got wet from the forecast showers. We need to pick up some yard waste bags and tidy things up.
Take care of that back of yours Kathie. Please don’t over do it.
It sounds like there was a lot of laughter and good fun yesterday Karen. Like the spring flowers, you have really blossomed since you found St. Mary’s. Take it easy at Jane’s today.
Short and sweet from me this morning.
Have a good day everyone.

Good Afternoon Wrabbits!
Where does the time go????

Lee: We got a 10 min, at the most, of light showers around 9:00 am. Just enough for Art to return from the Big Park (Metro Stony Creek) and cancel his Tuesday biking. By the time he left the park and got home it stopped. But the WIND was horrible. Some of the bikers went off on the trails in the woods in the park, but Art doesn't do that anymore. So now he's in the basement "continuing" his huge job of painting his workroom floor. For 34 yrs it has been just the cement look and not painted. Whatever spins his wheels!! :emoticon 0105 wink:

Nice that you got your back lawn cut yesterday. Not sure if you got any rain this morning.
Hope Lu-Ann's doctor appt worked out good.

I take it AVA's tummy issues are better by now???

I've been working on updating my current MEDICINE LIST. I print off enough copies so I have one in each folder of the doctor I go to.

All the forms I've had to print and fill out for the new Dermatologist is crazy. One reason I hate changing doctors. It did get me to do the updated Meds List. Without that list I could never remember the names of what I take daily.

Hello to Karen & Mike.
Have a good afternoon. I'll be on and off of here this week because of Easter services and things I need to get ready for our family dinner.

We had a right proper old rain storm here this morning Kathie. I was waiting for Lu-Ann hoping that she wouldn't come out during the downpour! Yes, thanks for asking. Ava's tummy issues seem to have resolved. I too keep a list of my meds and what they are for in my notes on my phone and iPad. Along with the script number. When I picked up today's meds the pharmacist wanted to talk to me about a change. HUH? She showed me the change that doubled one of the the medications. I called the Doc's office - the same one Lu-Ann was sitting in - and left a message. A bit later they called and apologized for accidentally changing it. I should stay on my 1/2 pill. Good thing I asked.
Likely a good idea for Art to skip today's bike ride. We've had more rain off and on and a couple of stray flurries. I often think about painting the back basement floor as well.
I do believe that I'll have a cup of that coffee you made! I'll leave a mug out for Mike and Karen too.
Be good folks.

Good evening, another hot sunny day here in Fl. started out nice & cool this morning but the temp climbed this afternoon until I finally turned the A/C on in the house again.

Kathie, filling out new forms for the Doctor is the worst, especially when they ask about things that happened YEARS ago & have nothing whatsoever to do with the current visit. Glad Art didn't try to ride in the blustery wind!

Lee, glad to hear Ava's tummy issues have calmed down & good on you for catching the mistake the dr. made with your prescription! Those battery mowers are nice but they can be a bit fussy about tall or damp grass, glad you got your done in between rains.

Mike, the lawn people came here today as well, why I have NO clue, the grass is not growing much at all but they show up every week & ride around on their mowers. I think it might be in the contract that at a certain month they have to come weekly, which is dumb in my humble opinion!

Got Jane's front yard mowed this morning, it was a rough 1st visit for me since Hansel was gone, especially walking in with a bag of breakfast sandwiches. He always met me at the door anytime I came over & would dance around on his back legs if I had a bag of any kind in my hand. Jane has just been trying to keep busy but nights are the hardest for her as he always slept in her bed snuggled up against her back. Our 4 legged kids sure do have a way of getting their paw prints all over our hearts!

Thanks for the coffee Lee and K2, I always like a cup of coffee around 3-4 oclock.
Lee, glad Ava's tummy problem is solved. Lets hope it stays that way. Nice t hat the pharmacist told you about the change in the prescripion, they seem to be on the ball. Hope Lu-Ann's Dr. appt. went well. I don't know why but when I was cutting the lawn it felt like I had done a weeks work after I cut it. it took me 40 minutes to cut it with a gas push mower or my lawn tractor.
K2, I keep a list of my meds in my wallet and in th e computer. Sometimes I forget to change or add to the list. I dislike changing Drs also but I am thinking about changing one.
Fay went out to lunch today with a friend, I hope she does t hat a lot more. She gets cabin fever and I am content to stay home and play with the computer.

Me again.
Got a text message from my best friend Elaine. She in the hospital AGAIN. Something to do with coughing so badly all day and night on last Thurs that she called 911 and an ambulance took her to emergency. She had some type of flu (forgot the name of it) that was contagious. She was in isolation. I had a mask on, but her nurse said she had been cleared of the flu issue. They found that her sodium & potassium levels were causing issues with her kidney’s. So now she’s on sodium pills & potassium pills. She gets a respiratory treatment 4x a day to keep her lungs clear.
Her daughter flew in from Santa Barbara, California to be with her. Wednesday sometime she will be going to a in house rehab. She really should be in a nursing home. Not sure how she handles things at home in her condition.

Watching the Detroit Tigers baseball live on TV right now at 9:50 pm. It’s like watching paint dry after the fast pace of Basketball! :D

Karen: Hope it gets easier to go to Jane’s and not see Hansel there anymore. It’s a big void in our hearts and lives when they give us so much unconditional love.

Mike nice that Fay could get out with her friend. You two enjoy the rest of the week.

Hello to Kathi Allen if you’re reading along. For some reason Dave was on my mind a few times today! Miss that guy and his chatter big time. :emoticon 0101 sadsmile:

Later gang.

So nice to see everyone drop by yesterday.
So sorry to hear about your friend Kathie. Hopefully her daughter will be able to stay with her long enough to get her on the mend.
Cold here again. Other than that, until the day finds its direction I don’t have much.
Have a wonderful Wednesday friends.

Good Morning Wrabbits! Hey it's WEDNESDAY already!
Ozone Layer Bike GIF by INTO ACTION
I must remember to show Art this Camel on a bike! Ha Ha.

I was watching the 11 O'clock late news last night and saw the deck light turn on. I usually pay no attention to it and thought it must be the strong winds that tigered the motion detector to turn it on. Anyways, I did get up and turned on all the deck lights and LOW and BEHOLD a HUGE RACCOON was walking around on the deck. It froze for a second and when I rapped on the glass door it walked to another end of the deck. Then it came back in view in front of the door, and I rapped on the glass again and it ran off down the stairs towards the lower backyard creek area.
WOW... it was huge! Never saw one come up on the deck! I need to go down to see if it ate Art's creek Daffodils. Not sure what they eat. I'll google that later.
And to think I actually slept out on the back lawn in a tent with the grandkids when they were little! Wonder if anything came by while we were sleeping!

Dermatologist appt for both of us today! Art gets stitches out and who knows what they'll do for the spot on my back.

I made a fresh pot of coffee before I got on here and it's calling me big time. Help yourselves.

Have a great day
ALL, and be thankful for a new day!

Morning, another chilly start to the day here as well, but I'm sure by noon it will be hot again.

Kathie, so sorry to hear about your friend Elaine, hopefully they can get everything sorted out & get her on the road to recovery quickly.

Lee, you had more direction at 7:05 than I did, I was still snuggled cozy in bed!

Mike, nice that Fay could get out to lunch with a friend, I can relate to cabin fever, it's nice to be home for a while but then I get the bug to go out, even just to the dollar store or somewhere.

Have my last batch of bread pudding all measured out & prepped, I'm making a bourbon sauce for it tonight. Not much else going on here until I head for church in about 45 mins so I think I'll make another cup of coffee, later gang!

Kathie, tonight is the last Lenten soup supper, the bread pudding & bourbon sauce is for that. People had commented several times that bread pudding was better with a sauce & when Rev. Lisa mentioned a bourbon sauce that sounded good to me. I think I might make a vanilla sauce as well for the teens

Karen, I wish I lived in Belleview area so I could sneak in and get some of that dessert! Enjoy it!

Got back from our DUAL Dermatology appt. Got in rather quick and out just as well.
The bigger brown spot in the middle of my back was NOTHING. Whew. But the Doc did find 2 pinpoint spots on that he had to get a sample of to send out to see if they were malignant or not. Get this 1 stitch each! I think they could have just put a Butterfly Band-Aid on it and saved the insurance company some money. But he doesn't make money that way! :emoticon 0102 bigsmile: I was just glad that they froze the areas first and I didn't feel anything.
Art got his stiches out and goes back in a month the have them Laser the area so it heals without scarring. Ha Ha. His neck is very wrinkled in that area, and the stitch area blends in. (more money for the Doc)

Mike: You'll be happy to know I'm off to roll out some Apricot Kifle for my family for Easter dinner. If you lived closer, I'd bring you some for sure. :emoticon 0136 giggle:

It's still a tad nippy outside, but the FULL SUNSHINE makes it nicer.

Kc if it was just me I would throw the pudding away and drink the bourdon.

Does everyone remember “ Vanilla”?
She would have loved a bunch of BLANK spaces on a post to get to a new page number first!

While we’re thinking about Vanilla…..I wonder where Pedro &Penelope ended up???
Mike I managed to make 90 Apricot Kifle. Most of them will stay right here for the family. Some will be taken to close friends.

If I lived in Belleview, I would try and get Karen to Trade a square of Bread Pudding w/Bourbon sauce for some Apricot pastries! A WIN - WIN!

Night all. So far NO Raccoons on the deck! Whew!

Good morning.
So many treats. The bunnies are cute as can be.
I’m off to Jim’s basement. The guys are finally getting together to get the floor down. I swear The French restored Notre Dame after the fire faster than this project is nearing completion.
Enjoy your day everyone.

Hello to All. Busy over here, but had to take a second to check in. All is good.

Lee: You "boys" need to tell Jim SPRING is here and SUMMER is following and his projects need to wait until dreary cold days of Winter if he wants them done. Ha Ha.
I love your comparison to Notre Dame. How true.

To the rest of you Wrabbits...... enjoy your day.

Later gang.
