Coffee Working GIF by Sappy Seals

Mike: I give some of those Kifle (pastries) to friends up 24 Mile Rd (Marie/George) and a few others and the family too. They FREEZE nicely and once nice and frozen I gently use the FoodSaver vacuum machine and then I have them when needed! "MOVE CLOSER to us"!!

Art went biking and then came home and is still attacking his area of the basement. LOTS of PIECES of WOOD to put out for the trash man. He saved way too much wood and will never have a use for it until it's gone in the trash. Isn't that how it goes!! Ha Ha.

Hi gang.
We put things off over the winter Kathie because some of us were fortunate enough to be in FL. Then Gail had her radiation and we reckoned she didn't need the guys there banging in the basement. We were opposed to start last week but Jim had a nasty cold so we all opted out. We’ve reached the point we all just want it done. We did 20 of the 60 boxes of flooring today. I wanted to do another 5 - 10 boxes but was out voted. We’ll likely do the same tomorrow and finish up next week.
Funny about your bills. We pay ours the end of the first week of the month. Today next month’s hydro bill arrived.
Notre Dame took about 4 1/2 years to restore Mike. After you mentioned the flowers popping up in your yard I have tried to appreciate all of the flowers bursting in to bloom in The Navy Yard.
I sure hope the congregation appreciated your desserts Karen. They did sound fantastic.
Have a good evening everyone.

You got a third of it done Lee, Keep plugging away. Something like you can see t he light at the end of the tunnel. I like to figure out the fraction of the total, have been doing it for years, months, days, miles you name it.

stop and smell the roses.
MOVE CLOSER to us"!!
Sorry K2, if I move it will be south of here, not north. I moved about as far south as I could in Ohio because I started to hate the cold. Your kiffles do sound good though. you have some lucky friends. I am like Art in a way, I have large pieces of wood and plywood in my garage that I will never use.

Good morning.
A nice reminder from Kathie that Easter isn’t all about chocolate bunnies and eggs.
I’m having more trouble dealing with the cold and damp too Mike. We are about as far south in Canada as we can get.
Good morning Karen.
It’s already 54F so I’m going to get Ava out for her early walk. Yesterday at this time it was 32F.
Have a good day everyone.

Quick good morning check in, glad to hear things are warmer up a bit for all of you up "north". It's been downright toasty here. One more day of church services before Easter, then tomorrow I get to spend getting ready for the family & Easter dinner. Not much to do for that as Jane, Barb & Wendy are bringing the side dishes, Barb & I got sliced Honey Baked Ham for sandwiches. I'm going to make jello to go with our Publix cupcakes & that's about it.

Check in with you all later this afternoon

My dear family went out to the Anderson Lake Cottage and with waders on Ashley and boots on Mark they put up the famous MARTIN HOUSE so the birds can start nesting! So nice to know they did this on their own to help out. Doug & his Aunt (who is now the owner) were so appreciative.
Our Nephew is fighting colon cancer and is in chemo treatment right now and
no-way can he put up the bird house.

Here’s are pictures of our Karen and her choir singing yesterday! And yes, I did ask permission to post this!

Off to fight the crowds at the grocery store. I waited so. Could get 4X the fuel points today! Ha ha.

WE HIT 81F this afternoon. At 6:25 pm it is 80F. Sat on the deck steps (no furniture is out there yet) and drank my afternoon coffee. Loved it.

Went to Kroger earlier and it was a Total ZOO..... but everyone was polite! Lot's of EXCUSE ME's and SORRY didn't mean to bump your cart.

Doing some cooking and cooling and putting in refrigerator.
Set the Dining Room table up. Trying to get as much done as possible to avoid any
backaches on Sunday. Not to mention I'm going to MIDNITE Services with another choir
member.

Hope you all had a good day. :emoticon 0115 inlove:

DID EVERYONE FIGURE OUT WHICH GAL WAS KAREN IN THE PICTURE?? :)

77F here this afternoon my friends! Of course the rapid rise in temperatures is expected to usher in some thunderstorms later on.
After “floor-o-rama” I got Ava down to her Navy Yard. The ladies were all at Bucketlist for their Friday coffee get together. We wandered up so Ava could see them.
Enjoy your visit with Michael Mike.
Nice to hear that even on a busy shopping day people were still able to be courteous Kathie. Last I recall Ashley was a blonde? Cudos to them for getting the Martin House up.
Karen is the nice lady with glasses and a hymnal.
Have a delightful evening.

Not much new since last evening. It is drizzling here now and expected to do so off and on all morning.
We have a federal election April 28 to see which party will lead Canada and who our Prime Minister will be for the next four years. Advance Polls are open this weekend so we may go up today and vote.
Wishing you all a delightful Saturday.

Good afternoon!
Kathy, good job & nice of Ashley & Mark to get the Martin houses put up. Will there be many people at your midnight services?

Lee, what kind of flooring are you putting in Jim & Gail's basement? I can relate to wanting to push through & get more done, but I'm sure your back & legs were glad you were out voted! Thanks for the compliment of how to pick me out in the choir, except you also described 8 of the 9 ladies in the choir. :)

Mike, will Michael or any of your family be there for Easter?

Everything is set up & ready to go for dinner tomorrow and I have no where to go and nothing special to do this afternoon, hope I don't get in to much trouble!! Made it thru 2 church services yesterday but slipped out before the 3rd one started, it was going to be a 2 hr service and I wasn't sure I'd be able to stay awake.
On Easter the choir is singing at the 8 & 10:30 am services so we have to be there at 7:30, we do get breakfast in between services so that's nice. Not much else to gab about so I will wish you all a fine Saturday & Happy Easter since I probably won't make it on till late tomorrow!

Made the Creme Brule. Looks good so far. I need to use the Kitchen Torch to caramelize the top tomorrow before serving. (I'm beginning to sound like our dear Mama Bear) Ha Ha.
Made a Flourless cake and it's cooling. Need to put on the Choc Ganache topping.
Everything else is ready. Thank GOODNESS I pushed through and did as much as I did yesterday. Whew.

Karen: It will be crowded from the front of the pews to the back and on the sides tonight at midnite.
Tomorrow, on Easter Sunday, it will be worse. All the 2 time a year folks will be there and our regular members. I used to go to both services because I love the songs we sing, but I can't handle the crowds and the disrespect when they walk in late and start greeting their friends like it's a social event.

Karen, it's nice that you have today to rest up for tomorrow.

I'm off to lay down. I have to pick-up my friend at 11:00 pm tonight to get to church on time.
The parking lot will be a zoo. It's really a shame they don't come at least 2 times a MONTH.

Mike: I hope you had a good visit with Michael. Sending my Easter blessings to you & Fay.

Lee: It's starting to get COLD OUTSIDE. Bundle up if going out with Ava.

Easter wishes to everyone. Later.

We had a nice visit with Michael. He left late morning today but will be back abou1 :00 tomorrow. H coudn't get the WI to work last night so he call and got it fixed in 5 minutes, then he put the battery in the lawn tractor, he charged the battery last night. I rode the lawn tractor about 15 minutes today.
Both Pattie and he will be here tomorrow Karen. I don't know who is bringing what but I'm sure there will be more than enoug food.
Thanks for t he Easter blessings K2. I use to go to midnight mass at Christmas.
Lee. I hope your choices win the election. Thanks for pointing our Karen, I wasn't too sure.
It was cloudy and 77 today, sort of gloomy and sad looking. It is supposed to rain tomorrow AM, hopefully it will be sunny in t he afternoon.
I probably wrote this before, when I was very very young my mother colored the eggs using onion skin. I thought it was going to be something delightful. When I cracked the shell and realized it was hard boiled eggs I was very disappointed. We had over 100 chickens and plenty of eggs.
Every one have a good night and I still don't know why the chicken crossed the street.

A bright but cool - 40F - start to this Easter Sunday.
It rained here off and on all day yesterday. Lu-Ann and I did manage to get our little gardens tidied up a bit. Yard waste collection is tomorrow, Monday.
We’re off with the gang to have lunch at The Twisted Apron in Windsor.
It sounds like you all have full days planned with church, family or both.
So I will wish you all a wonderful day however and with whomever you enjoy the day.
