Good morning, Duck Crew. I had a dream about our meeting up in San Francisco next year - the Fisherman's Wharf area would never be the same again! :lol

Have a good day - we're in for a wild weather ride the next couple of days. <img src=http://katiejeffreys.com/ducky/graphics/rain.jpg>

Quack Quack considering a good part of the group were there last April and the scooters get there pretty easy it will be something to see--maybe someone can take up a collection and they will think we are part of the street entertainment- but only after I get my hot fudge sundae. DIt around this area just may get their feathers wet today looking like rain. Got the oxygen back up with a little oxygen so will take it slower today. I imagine will be better when this front goes by.

Have a duckie good day.

This is becoming annoying. Yet another one of my notes disappeared!

Maw - I had wished you a good day and urged you to take good care of yourself. We'll have a date for a hot fudge sundae (with chocolate ice cream for me!!) in San Francisco!!

Howdy!!

Can't wait for San Francisco!! We've never been so we hope to do it up right...China Town and riding a cable car are a must. Plus we have to think about what it is we want to do for our port days. A salmon or crab bake is a hope of mine.

On our first trip we did a whale watch tour and took the bus to Mendenhall while in Juneau. Then in Ketchikan, Skagway, and Victoria we walked and walked and walked and basically just saw the towns and the area's outside the towns and chatted with the towns people. This trip I think we may do a few more excursions...just don't know what yet. :)

Happy Thursday from someone who could Not see the Big Duck in the middle. Boo-hoo-hoo!! :D

A very good morning to all the DDDs from central Joisey, where it's promising to be a BEAUTIFUL day. It's supposed to stay this way right through the holiday.....YIPPEE!!!

The good news is that today is my half-day Friday (twice a month)...the bad news is I have to go to the Dentist to have one of my caps cemented back in. Then again, at least it's an "easy" dental trip!

Hope everyone has a nice & safe day! :thumb :thumb

Good morning ducks and DIT. We had rain 18 out of 22 days and now low and behold the sun is out!!!!!! going to be nice for the next five days. I figured all the rain was to get Joe and I in duck training. Quack! Quack! Finally going to be able to do some out side work this weekend. I do have to work at my job on Monday.

Everyone have a safae and enjoyable weekend. Quack! Quack! Quack!

Tobyn talk about snail mail.

Judi ouch

Gram-keep the rain please.

They lifted the snow storm warning for the weekend(hopefully). Earning cruise money and planting annuals as well as a very long laundry list of to do is in order. No R&R here.

have a ducky weekend.

Good morning, Duck Crew. I'm glad to see that most of you are supposed to have decent weather. We have t-storms forecast and a high of only 68 degrees. Rain into tomorrow as well. Can't complain though.

Tobyn - that poor duck must have encountered strong headwinds flapping its way up to North Pole. :lol

Sis - good luck at the dentist AGAIN. Yes, an easier visit today!

Suer - glad you dodged more snow. I'm sure your grass and garden are breathing a sigh of relief.

Gram - you and Joe certainly have had outstanding training for ducks!

Corky - glad you're finally getting some nice weather. I've had a talk with Pucci. :lol

Maw - you and Paw deserve a weekend off.

Have a QUACKINGLY GREAT WEEKEND Duck Crew!

We had our Spring a few weeks ago. We have been 20 degrees below normal. Today, a bright object is appearing in the sky. I just hate calling on a holiday weekend to report a UFO. I'll see what happens in the next few hours if it appears again. If I get a busy signal, oh well, I guess I will have to suck it up and deal with it. :lol

(I was joking about the snow storm....)

Good evening Duckmates! Boy did I miss the Ducks when I was gone! It was definately ducky weather in New York while we were there but we still had a wonderful time and I can't wait to go back! I would go back tomorrow if I could, I had that great of a time! I took a couple of tours in the rain on the double decker bus (I know now that I am a duck by
heart as it didn't bother me :D ) I can see now why my DD's want to go back to New York so badly. If anyone has a chance to see Jersey Boys - GO!

We were told that it had not rained at all for the 5 days that we were gone and it has not quit since we got back late
Wednesday. Rain is in the forcast each day through Monday! I wonder what this yellow fuzz on my body is and why
I keep having this urge to [large]QUACK[/large]

This weekend I MIGHT be fostering/adopting a new dog. I will find out tomorrow. I am looking at both a male and female
chihuahua :D I haven't heard back from any of the people to let me know if the dogs are coming up on the van tomorrow
so I may be not working with the dogs at all. We will just have to see what happens. SK and I are planning on getting up
EARLY to go to the City Market to finish off my plant hunting for the season and to find some good buys on cherries for
him :) Anyone want to come help me come plant a container garden for my Mom for her birthday on Sunday? Do I procrastinate? Yes! I actually got the plants for it today but am procastinating putting them in the container :(

Well, I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend and that they have nice, warm, SUNNY weather :D

Just checking in...

MaryAnn, A belated thanks for the "ducky welcome" post card. It was missed in the shuffle/craziness of getting ready to camp last weekend (and the million other things we had to do last week too :)D)

Camping was fun, but we did have to pitch tents in the rain and the dark! The girls in my troop did a great job and the rest of the weekend was beautiful...We camped on the military base at Lakehurst, the site of the Hindenburg disaster...It was a very cool place to camp, lots of history...the girls had a great weekend (and at 12 really enjoyed all the men in uniforms :)P) )

It looks to be a nice weekend and we'll be spending Sunday in NYC...Hopefully the weather is as nice as they say!

A safe and happy weekend to all!

Welcome home, JK....so nice to hear that your trip to NY was so nice. We've only been once, when my bil lived there we went for two weeks and saw everything and then some. Loved riding the double decker bus! :) I too am going to the local market today for organic veggies and also maybe a new plant or two and tomatoes. Yum!!

Welcome back Colleen & Meghan - I am glad your camping trip was a success and that the girls had fun. I am sure the skills they learned will help them later in life to be strong, self-sufficient women.

It is another beautiful morning here today. Right now, the only noise outside is the birds singing their little heads off. :)

Happy Saturday DDD's!!

Quack !

JK and C&M, glad you all had a great time.

A tad chilly so far this morning. That UFO is attempting to make an appearance again. We are off to the flower store later today. Hopefully the plants wont freeze :lol

Have a great day everyone. Stay safe.
