QUACK morning everyone. I'm up to page 50 on the roll call. My eyes are spinning!

The Branson pics were great. Looks like you guys had a great time!

Corky, still thinking we'll hit 7329 posts by D-Day? I suspect you are right!

Judi, did you like trader Joe's? We have three in our area! They make a french pizza that knocks me off. Paper thin, with wonderful cheese and thinly sliced ham and a salad... hey, I just figured out dinner for tonight! LOL!

Joanne, we LOVE blueberries here, but $5 a basket sometimes is too much. And you get as many as you can carry? OMG, I'm not going to tell Gordon. He'll be so jealous! Heck, I am already! LOL!

Ok, gotta get ready to leave for work. Later, Duckies and DIT's!

Good morning all, TGIF

I think it is funny that IHOP in high in the list because here in the Atl area they are everywhere!

I am a SDM today and need to get gearing up on the packing. Hope Tobyn will have a great Alaska cruise with his mom.

Good morning, Duck Crew!

I've been busy with hurricanes, tropical storms and...or, yes...work, so I haven't been around much for shenanigans. Glo, you've certainly jumped in with both feet! :lol<img src=http://www.webweaver.nu/clipart/img/nature/birds/quacking-duck.gif>

Sounds like our time in San Francisco will turn into a "food crawl" instead of a "pub crawl". Prime rib is fine, but when I've got all that fabulous seafood tempting me, I opt for the latter. Of course, that's in between IHOP, hot fudge sundaes, etc., etc.

Glo - I Know there is a joke in there somewhere. =lolgang

Shipmaven - I'm with you...seafood, seafood, seafood...dimsum...IHOP...more seafood. :D

Funny about the IHOP and so many of us wanting to go - we do not have one near by, nor have I been in one for probably 30 years. I used to get a pancake that had corn kernels in it. Does anyone know if they still make that kind? Gosh but they were good. Smeared with butter. Yum!!! Now my mouth is watering. Ha!! :lol

Corky, I don't think they have any pancakes with corn kernels in them now, well at least not here. They have harvest grain and nut pancakes that are really good, chocolate chip, banana. They also have the rooty tooty fresh and fruity special.

I love IHOP so I am in to go in San Francisco. I am looking forward to all of the seafood also, and the hot fudge sundae. By the time the cruise is over I am sure that I will have gained 15 lbs =lolgang

NEVER underestimate where corn kernels can show up on food. A number of years ago when our Duck Crew sailed with rubber Chickens instead, I was cruising without my buddies out of Dover, England on a North Cape cruise. We hadn't sailed yet, and there came a knock at my door. In walked my Butler with a pizza box (remember, this is England) and some fine china and silverware. He ceremoneously opened the box...and there in all its glory was a delicious, hot pizza. Prominent among the toppings were CORN KERNELS. :lol You just never know what current Duck Crew members are capable of doing!!!!

OMG! I have even more to beware of in 340 days than I could imagine! Yikes!

I just spent 6 hours transforming DD's old room into a guest room worthy of sleeping in. Before was a typical teens room. Posters on the wall, THREE guitars hanging on the wall, makeup everywhere, none of the sheets matching, cutouts of movie stars here and there.... 6 hours later, this room is lovely. It has a Rockwell picture hanging, 8 Rockwell decorator plates too. A lovely curio cabinet, bed sheets and a comforter and a bed skirt all coordinated with the paint, a lovely sitting area with a nice table and lamp, and a comforting table top fountain on the dresser. DD happened to come home and walked into her room and was amazed at the transformation! The biggest job was moving two large teak book cases from one spot to another. Empty books, move cases, put books back. It's amazing the kinds of books this child has. Kafka, anatomy, nutrition, Hemingway, Japanese poems, Hindu studies, animae, vintage books, black history, old movies, new movies, books on medicine, books on art, books about Audrey Hepburn, etc etc etc. But now I have a lovely guest room (with some stuff in it that needs to go away still!) that the cats and the dog approved of.

Your guest room sounds really nice. I am sure that the work you did was well worth the effort. I remember getting my guest room put just the way I wanted and then my son and his wife needed to move in. I can hope that someone day I get it back but in the meantime it is nice to have them here to help them and them me. :)

QUACK! QUACK! QUACK! The Holiday Inn Express now has their reservations open for after cruise bookings. I just booked our room for one night after the cruise.

The next step is waiting for the airlines to open up their reservations.

Everyone have a good day. QUACK! QUACK! QUACK!

Quack- Quack Gram -

Just did the same here. Staying over at the HI Express on the 22nd. Of course, that's assuming that SunFlower and I survive both the Duck Crew initiation and the cruise itself!
