BB - School is open Monday - Wednesday...originally they had Wednesday off, but now it's an early release to make up for one of the four days we were closed for Faye...I took Wednesday off, so I can get all the pre-work done for dinner...plus having my carpets cleaned and an afternoon massage...

Food was so yummy...couldn't even tell you all we had (we have 20 people in our department)....2 fried turkeys, one ham, tons of sides, lasagna, pies, cakes and more. Didn't do anything today...well, ate, but that was about it.

Went to BINGO last night and actually won 2 games. That's the good news. The bad news is that the prize for both games was a basket of dollar store nut crackers! Just what I needed - more stuff for Christmas. Think I'll just leave them in a basket and let the grandkids play with them.

Speaking of Christmas, we just got the Bass Pro Shop Black Friday sales catalog. I tell you what - I think I'll do all my shopping there. The best things I found were and inflatable deer with a target on its side to teach your child to shoot!: There also was a huge fish pillow for on the couch. Better still, nothing says Merry Christmas like getting your wife a PINK shotgun! Yeah, animals aren't going to see her coming! And finally to be used in only the finest redneck homes - dishes and silverware with fish or deer patterns. That catalog was just soooo wrong! I'm saving it for Jimmy. I'm sure he'll find plenty of stuff to buy in there.

Better think about getting dressed. Kris said she and Emily may stop by on the way home from dance class. I'll be back ...

Sadly, I think you're right ... especially the Village Idiot! Remember him? I wonder what "home improvements" he's made recently and what problems he's caused the whole neighborhood while doing them.

Yeah, I've been lurking......and very proud of it.

I've missed the stories from your old neighbourhood BB.......I also remember how difficult it was to get the old house sold, so you could move to Kissimmee.

I am soooo glad I was able to amuse the 2 of you with my adventures about dealing with my neighbors. I'd be able to tell you about some of the neighbors here, but for one problem with the strangest ones - - - I can't understand a word they say! Maybe I need to invite Vanilla to visit, so she can interpret for me.:

Watched way too much football yesterday. All the teams I wanted to win won! Think I might head for Target to do some more shopping for the kids.

we also went to Target today......to pick up meds but the order got screwed up,so back tomorrow I shall go..............then to Bed,Bath and Beyond...........I needed new silverware...had lunch at Carabbas........the owner comped us our meal since he knew it was our anniversary meal(its on Tuesday)...............

Came home and planted some poinsettas........They were only $3 at Wally World.........

We never made it to Target. Gary decided to go for a run from his house to here. He arrived before noon. Then Kris and the kids came over. They just left! Needless to say, nothing I planned for today came about.

Glad you enjoy football cuz there really isnt too much else on..............stupid music award show on instead of the shows I like.................Im not that desperate to watch tv so Im on here instead...........I am recording House Hunters in St Martin....I like when HHs is in the Caribbean or Mexico................

I agree little kids are really easy to buy for..........

I did have a sore throat before but Im feeling ok now.........its just when I was outside earlier,guess I got chilled and couldnt get warm.......Im ok now though..........

Good Monday morning.............

Little warmer when I took the trash out...........gonna be 72 today.......now thats more like it.................

Have some running to do today.........trying to get the right meds for Dennis........it keeps getting screwed up........then I need to pick up mine from Sams(they're the cheapest for me)........next time I go to the doc,Im gonna ask him if I can try one of the $4 meds.....................


Still not sure what turkey day plans are.................wont know till tomorrow..........depends on if Dennis has to work Friday or Sat......I wont be making dinner if he has to work Friday cuz that means he'll have to be in bed by 3 Thursday afternoon............that wont work..........we'll see.........

Beautiful day, isn't it, PH? This is more like my kind of weather.

Lots of excitement in our neighborhood last night for about an hour and a half ... Sheriff's helicopter shining lights on all of our houses, police cars all over, deputies with K9 checking under the covers of all the boats. Found out this morning from our Neighborhood Watch deputy that it was a case of domestic violence and the guy had taken off. They must have finally found him because all of a sudden everyone was gone. It certainly livened up the evening! It definitely was more exciting than the football game!!

Heading off to WalMart after lunch to see about finding a small (13") two wheeler for Ethan for Christmas. He's ready for one. I hope they have the Cars one, as that's a favorite movie of his. Once I get his bike, he'll be just about done too. I still need a few things for Mallorie too. Then I'll just get an outfit for each of the little ones and they will be done. Wesley & Justin are my hard ones this year, as they're beyond the normal toy type stuff. Wesley wants gift certificates to his favorite stores and Justin wants gymnastic stuff, whatever that might be.=huh

I hope you can get the cheaper meds. Some of that stuff is sooo expensive.

Bert just got back from the store, so I better get off and fix lunch. I'll be back later.

Just had lunch and now Im headed out as well...............too bad we're not closer........lunch at Ruby Tuesdays would be great!
