Well, I did it! Tree is all decorated. How bout yours? We went to Beall's yesterday and they had their lighted palm tree for 50% off. I got one for $50. I'm a happy camper. I have it decorated with red balls and it is out on the protected part of the deck. After the holidays, I'll have to find some other stuff to decorate it with. Maybe I should keep out some of the ship ornaments I've collected. But then again, I could decorate it with Gator stuff too. Hmmm ... I might have to think about this.

Hey you two...... My tree is finally done, but it is too cold to do the outdoor stuff. I keep looking for a day in the upper 40's, now that would be warm.......

Carl got his Colonoscopy this morning and he is good for another 5 years...... Nice to get good reports once in a while.....

I put just my ship /travel ornaments on the tree this year.actually put two trees up.but the 2nd one has just lights on.....

BTW--did you know today and tomorrow is senior days at bealls.BB?? At least for our store.not sure about yours..

Can you believe someone ran over our mailbox today?? Some "lost" lady was backing up in front of our home and smacked into the mailbox........nearly flattened it and cracked the concrete it was in..............thats the part that amazes me.......the concrete was laid in a square 3 by 3 by 3 by 3(bricks) and was about 6 inches thick....................and she had no damage to her car....................I took her info and told I'd know more in the am when my husband got home.............she was very apologetic................wonder what would had happened if I wasnt home?

I know it's senior days at Beall's. The palm tree I got was only 50% off Sunday & Monday. I'd have paid more, if I waited for today or tomorrow. Kohl's & Belk's also are doing senior days tomorrow.

Marcia - Glad Carl did great and can forget about that for a few years. Sorry it's so cold up your way. It's pretty cold here too. As a matter of fact, PH is going to freeze her SSA off again tonight!:

Just finished leftover roast beef, so it's time for a glass of wine and to go admire the job I did on the tree!!!!

Good morning................tad bit nippy this am............31 degrees and lots of frost outside....good thing its gonna warm up some.....hope warm enuf to pour more Quickcrete around the mailbox........

Last night we heard the pool pump go on(I had it set at midnight so pipes wouldnt freeze) and it made sucha racquet.....not a good sound to hear........so we went outside to check things out......have a feeling we need a new one..............always something........

Well, Dennis checked the pool pump this am and restarted it.......knock on wood,its ok......so far...........he thinks maybe since it came on at midnight,it had gotten so cold and screwed it up............who knows.........

I hate sleeping with heat on,even though we do.........its makes me all stuffy and HOT............

How long will B and R be visiting???? Guess they're going to VB???

PS sure warmed up nice,didnt it????

Got some more decorations up this afternoon and then decided to bite the bullet and went to Walmart. Did you ever have the urge to say to store employees D*mn it! Speak ENGLISH!!! They were unreal and so annoying. :X It reminded me of why I seldom go there. Justin better appreciate that I went there to get the Wii games he wanted. Otherwise, it never would have happened.

B&R are coming down Friday to attend the Boston College ACC championship game in Tampa on Saturday. On Sunday they're coming to Orlando. I couldn't convince them to stay here that night though. Guess they think we have cooties or something! LOL Anyway, they go home on Monday.

Good morning! Sure is a pleasant change today from the chilly weather yesterday.

We're off to do some more shopping today. Believe it or not, I'm actually almost done shopping and most of the decorations are up inside the house. I had to cut back this year due to that EVIL grandson known as Ethan. He's turned into a really terrible two and is into everything.

Have fun packing, you lucky, lucky person! Wish we were going with you. We're looking at possibly doing a 3 nighter around the middle of February. By then I really am going to need a cruise!

Too bad you have plans......they are still offering the dirt cheap prices for tomorrow...........I called and they dont close the bookings till 24 hrs out..............I thought(and hoped) it was 72 hours,so maybe we could upgrade at the pier.............9 suites left as of now........
