I would only buy the stock if doing so will give you more than $600 in ship board credit. With the non combining of ship board credits, I'm not sure that you will come out ahead if you book on board. When the economy turns around, you could make some money on it, but, I think it's going to be a while.....RCCL has so much debt with the new ships coming on line and the analysts don't like RCCL as much as CCL. CCL may be a better buy, I think that they're in a much better position financially.

Yea,it wouldnt be for the OBC,thats for sure...............I was just thinking its so cheap,but now,Im not sure it will recoup anytime soon...

Just my luck ... When I was around before, nobody was talking. Bert hogs the computer and we pick up my car and lo and behold, both of you FMs show up! I'm starting to get a complex from you two!:)P) Without your help, I'll never be a FM!:( My goal right now is to make it to 1000 posts before we leave on Monday. I just need someone to talk to!!!!!

PH - Bert was reading over my shoulder (again) and saw your post about possibly buying stock now. He thinks it's a good time to buy. Just think how fast you can recoup that $600. in shipboard credit on some of those cruises you book on the spur of the moment. I know under the old rules for shareholders, I have more than made up by original investment.
I definitely will have to make a copy of all those names you want me to say hello to. Goodness ... What do you do ... spend all your time spreading good cheer among the staff????:lol
I just sent Carlos an email to have him make a reservation to Portofino for us.

I just looked to see who's here and, as usual, there's nobody in the house but me! I definitely will get a complex, if this continues ...:girly

Hey there BB.

I still think that now they have changed the rules on OBC, RCL is not a good stock to have. I think stock in companies that sell things that people have to have in a recession are the ones to go with for now......dividend paying stocks.

I really don't know how they choose FMs....it doesn't seem to be based on date of ones first post. BTW.....you're a FM to me, BB. Now you have to figure out what I mean by FM.

So what stocks do you recommend? Only stock we've got left is RCI. I keep saying this is a good time to buy, but the crystal ball is kind of cloudy right now and I haven't picked anything out.

Well our rains never came this afternoon after all. Now we're going to get cold down here again for the next few days. That figures - There's a weekend coming.

I heard coke(KO) is a good one to buy........of course,cant buy as much for that $600,but everyone drinks coke around the world..........it will never go outta biz...

Just finished dinner. Now Bert wants the computer back. He's getting some auctions ready for the coming weeks. I'm not getting too much chance to get on here these day with him in SELL mode.

EXCUSE ME!!!! I want you to know Mr. Smart A$$, that I am up late each and every night. Just ask PH what it's like when we're on a cruise. It's always at lest 12 before I head for bed. So there!!!:p

Chilly morning, isn't it PH? I had to put the heat on this morning as Bert was cold. House felt great to me though, but I did it to stop him from complaining.

Guess I should think about planning what I'm bringing on the cruise...

Morning....

Got an early text from matt(hes in Rome for a long weekend)............asked me how to say I want a lawyer in Italian.......scared the crap outta me.........he told me he was just kidding and forgot the time difference.............KIDS!!

Yup,busy with the truck yesterday ..........went and got the title transferred and now just waiting on his compnay to send a tag.........so no work till then......he really hoped they would had sent him at least a temporary,but all the big wigs were in a meeting all day and so now we have to wait to hear on Mon..............the guy who was in charge of all this stuff died of a heart attack 2 weeks ago and nobody else knows what is what.........

He put the truck in the shop for a service and told them to check it out while still under some warranty........

Today,need to go to Sams and some other running.....

Just joined Ruby Tuesday email club(you can get a free entree) and Mimis(and already got a coupon for a free breakfast..............

If I dont get back on here,have a good time on the NV,BB........dont 4get your list of names for me.....hahah

San--hope you'll keep me company this week .......
