I'm staying out of Oxford today, it is Green Beer day (last day before Spring Break) and too many drunk and sick students.....

Marcia-I'd stay away from Oxford too.(if I knew where it was--haha).............sounds like a crazy time.

So Rita, when do you leave?? You cruise the 9th,I think?????? We are in for really nice temps and you'll be further south,so you'll be good to go........

Been working on strenghtening my legs at the gym,so I can kick some butt around here,if necessary...... :p

OK, I've decided that xpeedork is bucking for RC.....but, I think that he's going about it all wrong.....he keeps attacking people.

We had Angelia over here for dinner last night as John is still in Virginia.....nice evening.

PH, we leave tomorrow. We're planning on stopping just south of Richmond, VA, tomorrow night, then in Brunswicl Georgeia on Saturday night, then on to FLL on Sunday. We hope to arrive around 3 in FLL. Our friends are flying in on Sunday, and we'll meet up with them for dinner. The weather forecast has improved for tomorrow....snow showers should stay to our north, and since the system is moving in from the west, we should be OK heading south. Can't wait for some warmer temps...it's been a miserable winter.

Tony, thanks for the good wishes. It's nice of you and Nancy to take care of Angelia while John is away. BTW, if a price adjustment should come up while I'm away, just call the office. Do you need the office number? Please only speak to Glenn......he's the owner, and the only one I trust with my people.

PH, did you see the thread about the D people not being allowed in the CL? I wonder if RCI is floating this stuff out there, so when it happens, people have already gotten the complaints out of their system (at least somewhat, as I'm sure they will take a boatload of complaints if and when, that happens). I noticed the new 2009-2010 brochures mention that Concierge Service is available on ALL Freedom, Voyager, Radiance AND VISION class ships. I wrote to my DSM who told me that the brochure was correct.......even tho we know only a couple of Vision class ships have CL's......at least as of right now. Our friend contacted the Master of the Vision, who affirmed that as of NOW, there is no CL on the Vision. Sounds like they might be getting ready to add a CL, but I bet they make the CL available only to suite guests (and maybe D+). People are already saying that they've heard about coupon books that will allow the D people to have 2 free drinks per night in any of the lounges.......it does sound like some information is being floated out (no pun intended).

Time to think about dinner and finishing the packing. Other half is babysitting, so I have to wait to see what he wants to take, in addition to the stuff he put out. Should be an experience, the two of us in the car by ourselves for 3 straight days! OMG!
What were we thinking????????

Yeah Rita, that D/D+ thread is going pretty hot and heavy. The changes that are being talked about are exactly what I was told by that person from C&A.. Looks like they are getting close to making an announcement.......there's some TAs that got the same info as you did.

I doubt that I will see further discounts on the two cruises. But I'll look out for Marcia......I think she's still paying too high a price. Thanks though ......I'll only talk to Glenn. I'll call you when you get back about Travel Insurance......I received the brochures.....thanks.

Just stuff the iPod earphones in what's his name's ears.......it'll be a more enjoyable trip in the car:D

Just one guess, PH. Did you read the thread on D/D+? I'm sure glad that I'm D+........Matthew and Angeline are not, though.

Poor Rita----------I can only imagine 3 days in a car with ones spouse.......what that would be like!!!!!!!!!!!! Thinking of ya.......

Seacoast Construction just finished installing the hardware for hurricane panels on the rest of the windows on the house.
Judy's happy now. There's one clear center panel for most windows for light.

There's way too much noise about C&A D/D+ changes for nothing to be going on. It looks to me like RCCL is leaking out possible changes to soften the blow to members. RCCL definately has to do something......I'm sure the program is very costly to them.

So Paul, what are hurricane panels? Are they like hunks of plywood that you store until you need them, then hang just before a hurricane?

They're metal with one clear panel for light. They fit into a slot at the top of the window and bolt to the house at the bottom. They can stop about any windeborne object.

I imagine it is costly San......people take advantage...........stay in there from 5-8:30pm..........I like the one idea someone said close down 30 mins in between ...........but it will be interesting to see what actually happens.........


Dennis just left for Marathon and Key west..........has a long night ahead.........should get there 3-4am............

Hi,

We're in Ridgeland, Georgia, 3 miles north of the Florida border. Will have about a 7 hour ride tomorrow, but what's waiting foir us at the end will make it all worth it!

Of course, we're not home for any phone calls!

Hope all is well. I'm loving the warm weather!
