Welcome back Rita.....thanks for the review on NV......sounds like you and Bill had a good time.....inspite of all the smells.... I saw where there is a senior discount for the Alaska September 19. I Emailed Marcia and asked her to call Glenn. Not being old enough, I'm not elegible, but Marcia is:D Besides, you already got me a rate that was better than the current one.

BB, I want to know where you get one of those jobs where you get paid $80 just to walk through a door. Don't want to do anything else.....just walk through the door......in fact.....I'll walk through your door for a better rate of $75.


I'm still not bought in to the MTD, PH......I didn't like it on Princess....stuck in a rut, I guess.

I like the idea cuz 6 is way too early and 8:30 is too late........I would prefer something in the middle........

Difference too we usually do the warm weather cruises and like to enjoy the outdoors as long as possible...........hate having to get dressed up around 5..........now when it gets dark early(winter) or we are in a place where we are not outside enjoying the sun,6pm would work...........

YIPPY!!! AC is working again. Some resistor had burned out. Luckily, he was able to free up our frozen compressor too. Not sure what it ended up costing, but whatever it was, it was worth it. It's starting to cool off in here. Only good thing about not having the AC working today was that it was too hot in here to do very much cleaning from our company. Guess I'll have no excuse come tomorrow.:cool:

Not sure I'd like that MTD either. Most of the time I like eating around 6 as that gives you the whole evening to do things. Eating at 8:30 is usually too late for me. Only good thing about that time is that you get to spend a LOT of time in the CL.;) Might just give it a try one of these days just for the heck of it.

Joanne and I had one of our marathon 3 hour conversations today. We didn't solve any of the world's problems, but we sure did a lot of husband bashing and laughing. That was our therapy for the week!

Bert's off to pick up Emily from extended day. Oh goody ... The rest of them should be here within the next half hour. There goes my nice quiet house for the evening! Guess I should go enjoy the quiet while I can.

Probably won't get back here again tonight, so I'll see ya all in the morning.

Glad you got your a/c back on,BB....whatta relief!!

Well, Dennis should be home any minute...........will be here till Wednesday but we have a ton of places to go tomorrow,so hope you all have a Happy St pattys Day!!

Top of the morning to you all! HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!

Got a lot to do this morning as we might have company coming later today. I won't know definitely until around noon, but I want to be ready in any case.

Good thing that Nancy wasn't on the call, she would have been very quiet because she has nothing to bash me about.

Happy St pattys day one and all...............been out and bout most of the day...............now we're just chilling........

May go to the new Barnes and Noble friends and family event tonite............today is the last day of the old place where I worked.......the new place is HUGE!!!! Too bad its on the other side of town................

Good afternoon.

Detailed the Enclave after it's trek over the Sierra Nevada on Sunday. Fixed the oven [Replaced the faceplate after the old one peeled apart (3 months out of warranty)], looked after Poet, Bought gas ....$2.099.......

Hope you said hello to Bill and Rita for me.

Really neat looking TransAtlantic on the Jewel in September 2010.....includes two stops in Iceland.....$1,600 for a D1 for 14 days. May have to seriously look at that one.

The landscaper is replacing our patio today......lot of noise from the concrete being broken up. They originally made it the wrong color.....and after several attemps to fix it, the guy decided to start all over again.

Better not be B and R visiting cuz BB said I had an invite..................and we have been around all day............

I bought gas too.........1.94 even though I could had gotten cheaper elsewhere(1.89) but I was cashing in a scratch off tix for $40 so decided to use $20 of it there for the gas.......................

I'm torn between the TA and the Canada / New England 14 dayer on Celebrity.......leaning toward the latter.

Sorry, PH, but it was Bill & Rita. Didn't find out they were coming until around noon time. I had already seen your post where you said that you and Dennis had things to do and would be running around all day. Figured you had your day all planned out and wouldn't have been able to get down this way. Hopefully, next time we'll have more time to plan.

San - They didn't even bow to me. What the heck was that all about? I tried to explain that RCs are supposed to bow to SotE, but they didn't believe me. Guess we'll have to instruct them once they get home as to how this now works.:cool:

I am now exhausted and plan to crash in front of the TV for a while before heading to bed. See ya in the AM.

What's gotten in to those two BB? Maybe they haven't gotten the letter on SotE yet.....it's probably sitting in their mail box at home. I'm sure that when they see the letter they will be treating you and I very specially.

You should had called BB...........it was perfect timing...........Dennis was home all day and night...........we just had running to do in the am..........oh well..........

Home from a 2 hour workout.........have a cruise next week and trying to so hard to drop some lbs......

San - I think you're right about those two. I do hope you sent them the complete SotE manual and not just the short version. We need some respect around here!!

Well BB, I know Rita reads.....but not sure about Bill........but, I am really sure that they both will want to treat us with a great deal of respect.

I see that CC has stated that they will no longer cooperate with RCCL regarding providing info for "viral" marketing. I wonder what the company is going to do for existing RCs.
