Come on, San - I'm sure bOB could give you the president of the SofE title, if he wanted to. Just think - Everyone would want to know what that us and how they can get to be members of such an EXCLUSIVE group!:thumb

You know BB......that's an excellent Idea..... We both should be titled SotE Charter Member......we could occasionally let others into our little elite club.....bOB could be a charter member also.....How about it bOB?

Nancy and Angeline are out shopping.....Anthony is supposed to pick me up so we can meet them at Johnny Carinos for dinner. I'm getting hungry.

Good morning!

Thanks for the heads up on the new program, PH. I'll have to DVR it just in case I forget it's on tonight.

Not much happening around here today.

San - I hope you finally got something to eat last night.

Hi PH! Have fun shopping, if you head for G'ville. I haven't been up there in ages. Might head for Old Time Pottery later to get some new flower pots. Have you ever gone to their store across from Florida Mall? They have lots of junk, but you do find something good once in a while.

Good morning! Another pretty day here in Kiss-my-a$$.

PH - OTP is on Sand Lake behind the Carabbas. You never know what they might have - Lots of silk flowers and arrangements, candles and candle holders, pictures, planters, seasonal stuff - The list goes on and on. It's kind of a treasure hunt in a BIG junk shop!

Got a funny story for you ... Bert & I stopped at the Grill for a quick beer yesterday afternoon. Our next door neighbors were there with 3 people. When they introduced us, I didn't pay any attention to last names. Our neighbor is a regional manager for Michalin (sp?) tires. He and the people with him had been at a race in Tampa on Friday. It was Indy type cars, but much shorter races. On our way home, Bert asked me if I knew who the guy sitting next to him was and I answered no. He told me it was Johnny Unser (cousin to Al), a former Indy driver and now director of Champ Car Atlantic Championship! He raced Indy cars in the late 90s. I bet Marcia would love this story.

Don't have much planned for today.

I saw that Brilliance show last night....part of it, anyway. It came across as an infomercial to me.

San - I agree that it was more like an informational. Made me really want to go to Venice though.

We're still considering the Jewel 2010 repositioning though. Time will tell, if we do it.

Morning......

How neat that was BB(at the Grill)......Im sure Marcia would know who he was ...............

I thought that family was annoying on the BR show, but it was kinda interesting in the ports.................

That JW repo always looks good.........we booked the RD Panama Canal one for Sept 2010(San Diego to Tampa)........its not cheap and its 15 nights,so we hope it will be doable...........figured we book now and hope and pray for price drops.........had to snag an aft while I could..................

yuck rainy day,but we could use it.....................

Good morning!

PH - I sent Marcia an email telling her about our experience. Of course, she knew right away who he was. She wanted to know why we didn't get his autograph and a picture. Heck, I didn't know at the time who he even was!
I always wanted to do the canal cruise. I hope you get to do it.

Had to get dressed early today and go to the our clubhouse to meet with the director. They've finally decided to give us our ID cards even though we didn't sign their release. I guess we waited them out and they caved! Unfortunately, she wasn't there like she told us she'd be. Now we have to go back later. Bummer!

It really is a crummy, raw day with drizzle. If it's going to rain, then let it rain. Drizzle just makes for a bad hair day!!!

Which repositioning are you concidering, BB? Harwich to Boston or Boston to Florida? You didn't say TransAtlantic.....so, I'm guessing the latter.

PC cruise sounds good PH......tough direction to go though......lose too many hours of sleep.

San - We're thinking about doing the transatlantic one. Got lots of new ports on that cruise to make it interesting.

San--------We choose the one we did, since we have never been on the RD and it arrives in Tampa!! Close to home........

I know the JW this year also goes to Iceland, but didnt they change that??? I remember hearing that...........

I think they did make a change on this year's Jewel TA. We're looking at Sept.2010. Here's the itinerary for that one -
Harwich, England; Le Havre (Paris), France; Cherbourg, France; Cork, Ireland; Akureyri, Iceland; Reykjavik, Iceland; St. John's, Newfoundland; Sydney, Nova Scotia; Boston, Massachusetts . We haven't been to 5 of those ports.

I think that they dropped St Jouhn's, Newfoundland on the 2009 TA. I think that it is still going to Belfast, Northern Ireland.....that would be interesting.
