Hi,
Yeah, I'm waiting for Bill to get up, so I'm trying to be quiet. This connection is so slow, I've been waiting a long time for the page to load.
We went to Que Pasa for dinner last night.......thanks, BB, for the suggestion. Food was delicious, Bill had veal schnitzel and I had pasta with shrimp, scallops and fish.......was it ever good! Dessert was banana fritters, which we shared. Aruba Aribba is now called a WHAZZUP! One was enough...tastes like fruit punch until you try and stand. Then walked to the Crystal Casino and made our donation to the 3donomy oF Aruba.
Off to the beach this a.m., then who knows what for the afternoon, probably just hanging around the pool. We may walk over to the new Riu Hotel.....just opened recently. Looks kind of out of place around here, as it has turrets and looks like a Moorish castle.
Staying our of downtown today as the Adventure comes in, so they'll be hordes of people on the streets. It's really strange seeing downtown Oranjastaad with no one on the streets. We stayed here a couple of years ago, but mostly stayed at the resort and didn't venture downtown until dinner time, and most of our trips have been on cruise ships.....and you know how crowded downtown gets when a ship is in. Actually could browse in the shop windows last night. I think we'llhit the stores tomorrow for some nice bling!
Well, his Royal Highness is up, time to go to breakfast. Talk with you all later. Enjoy the day everyone.
Rita
