Good morning and happy running around, PH.

I'm beginning to think we need to grow gills with all this rain we're getting. It rained off and on until after 11 last night. Had a very short power outage around 7. It caused us to lose internet. I really had to dig back to figure out where the problem was. Finally remembered to disconnect the wireless router and got the internet back. But when we reconnected it, we lost internet again. Could be that the power failure damaged the wireless router. Who knows?

I need to get some stuff done today to get ready for the new TVs tomorrow. Oh goodie!

Good morning.....I'm back home from Trinity Shasta National Foreest. Had a great time.....three days of riding in beautiful scenery. Ruined 2 ATV tires at $90 each. Saw several bears......they have just come out of hibernation and were wandering around looking for food......lots of bear poop.....some close to camp.

Spent all day yesterday cleaning up everything and putting it all away.....everything is now ready for next time.

Rita, no need to do anything extra for possible upgrades.....it ain't gonna happen and I'm OK with it. Have a great time in Aruba.

BB, what kind of TVs?

Sorry you had to cancel a cruise, PH........didn't know you had one scheduled so soon.

Hi San!:wave Glad to see that you've returned safe & sound from another one of your road trips. Too bad about the tires. They sure are expensive! Guess they figure if you can afford to drive all over the countryside on your ATV, you can afford the tires to keep it moving. I think finding bear poop near camp would be really scary. Was it new stuff while you were camped there? And how can you be sure it was bear poop? Do they leave a little Caution! Bear poop ahead sign? Us city girls wouldn't know about that kind of stuff!
The TVs we got are a 40 inch Toshiba LCD for the bedroom and the 55 inch Samsung LED for the family room. They'll deliver & set them up tomorrow. The one in the family room now is really on it's last leg ... Big yellow circle in the middle, blue all around the edges, picture suddenly disappears for a few minutes ... It's been so much fun this past week. Bert finally got disgusted and bit the bullet and bought the sets. Now we just have to figure out a way to pay for them!!

Well BB, being the Davey Crocket kind of guy I am, you learn to recognize tell tale signs in the forest. Bear poop looks kind of like cow poop, but a neater pile that's not splattered all over. It was fresh....hadn't been rained on....or dried out.

Sounds like some nice TVs, you should be able to see the 55" one without squinting, huh?

About the tires.....we have 5 ATVs [twenty tires], so we're bound to get flats every once in a while. Usually we can plug them on the trail, but railroad spikes make too big a hole for plugging.

Squint watching this TV? Heck, my neighbor 2 doors away won't have to squint either!!!!!! We could face it toward the windows overlooking the lake and we could call it a drive in movie! I could charge admission. Hmmmm .... That might be a way to pay for it!(tu)

We went to Best buy today,BB and I looked for the most $$ TVs ,figuring thats what you bought........you'll have to tell us how the new LED works out........I know in the store they all look good..............

We went and bought more plants today(after I could see again!!!)............now we have to go back out for potting soil......the lady at the nursery said the gardenias we bought need it.......maybe thats why the ones in the backyard dont look so good anymore.......

Now if only it would rain(OK,dont shoot me!!).........................

Now if only it would rain(OK,dont shoot me!!).........................[size=x-large]BANG!!!![/size] It poured here for about half an hour along with lots of noise and a very intense light show. Glad it got it out of its system early for a change. Now it's beautiful outside.

I'll let you know about the TV tomorrow. They're scheduled to deliver between 4 & 6. Great ... keeps me occupied for the afternoon when I could have been at the Grill!

Been to the big city and back [San Jose]. 93 degrees up there.....83 in Gilroy.....usually the other way around.

Have a Home Owner Association Executive Meeting this evening. Picking a Landscaping contractor. I know which one that I want.....hope the other two agree.

Well, I spoke too soon before. We're now on about our 5th t'storm that has come through since 6:00. This is really getting old.

Good morning! How can a day that starts out so pretty turn so wet later in the day? I just wonder how early the rains will move in today? We got our last storm pass through after 12 last night. We got another 2 inches of rain yesterday ... blub blub blub!!!!! I'm as sick of rain as everyone else in Florida right now.

I'd post on Facebook, except for 1 problem - I don't know how to do anything there! Call me FB challenged, if you want, but I don't get it.
So did you get your pick for the landscaping?

Boy, PH - You've got one of those typical Ocala IDIOTS living by you! I wonder if it's a relative of the one who used to live across the street from me in Meadow Wood. Sounds like they could be related. Sorry he ruined your night of sitting outside. Imagine if Dennis was trying to sleep. That really would have pi$$ed him off!

TVs should be delivered between 4 & 6, or so they said. Good thing too ... Aside from all the other problems the old set had, last night the bulb decided it didn't like us any longer. The picture would be on for 30 seconds and then the screen would go dark for 30 seconds. That kept up all evening! I think we got the new set at just the right time!

Ok, smart ssa - We WATCHED TV half of the time and LISTENED to it the other half. Actually I was falling asleep, so I was mostly listening anyway. I thought it might be a case of the bulb getting too hot and causing the problem. Wrong - I put it on this morning and it immediately started to do the same thing. Sooov... instead I'm listening to Serius radio on the dish. Don't need a picture to do that!!! Like I said, we bought the new set just in time.
Did you ever consider that the other board members are thinking you're too impulsive and make snap decisions? They might think you're going to get a kick back from the landscaper you want! Are you? LOL

Sorry you've got the rain already, PH. We're starting to cloud over too, so I'm sure we're in for it too in the not too distant future. I feel like I'm starting to rust from all this rain!!!!!!

No, no kick back, but there is one contractor that I've already been working with......he's the one I want. We've had the contracts for a couple of weeks, so plenty of time to read and think......the other two move too slow for me......Need to git 'er done!

Sounds to me like you're two days late on getting the new TVs, which is a failure on your part.

You two are starting to sound like K2 and her snow, but you've got a long way to go to match her passionD

Cows can stay out in the rain, so steaks can too.

I did get the steaks grilled...........so yummy................had NY strip.........and baked potatoes and fresh corn on the cob................Now Im full and need a nap.....haha

Dennis is out cutting the grass.......told him he should wait till 9:30pm so it would be cooler.........hahah..........btw-the neighbor has a push mower so no light..........just like ours.......
