Good morning.
Thanks Marcia and PH. We'll keep doing what we can. I'm going to try to get him out of the house for a couple of hours.....just to get him a break.

Sounds like you're through the worst weather Marcia.....the cold will be gone soon.

Installed solar lights in the back yard yesterday afternoon.

[size=medium]SAN: Just taking Hugh for a quick lunch outside of the house would be a good thing for him while Nancy stayed close by to watch Nadine. He would most likely say "NO", but keep at him that it's important that he gets out of the house for awhile to regroup his energy. Feel bad for all of them and I don't even know them.

Marcia: Hope the SHOT doesn't hurt Carl too much. The end result is what counts........controlling the pain.

Ouch........poor Carl,Marcia..............hope that shot helps.........

Made my next appt to include highlights.......I get them done every 6 months or so............so good not having hair hanging in my eyes anymore...

San, you are doing the best job that you can possibly do..... But you and Nancy take care of your selves also... It is a lot of stress on you also. Just remember, you are all in our prayers, you and your friends.

PH, I need a haircut also, but not sure when I will get it...... Seems like there is never enough time......

Thanks Marcia, we do what we can. I think Angeline is going to visit today. She's always been kind of a daughter for them.....they have three boys.

Nice day here today.

Gotta pay bills etc.

Hope K2 is doing OK. Tough times for her.

Afternoon check in time.............not much going on at the moment.........did some running around this am..........came home and I have been outside reading since................Dennis is sleeping(I hope) and will get up around 9......

Really nice day here..........I think we have seen the end of any winter.........

I slept in till after 9:30 this morning..I only got up cuz Dennis called and woke me.........he was worried cuz he ahdnt heard from me yet........I didnt sleep well last night till early dawn...........

K2----where are you??? Not too much longer till you head south.........and visit THE MOUSE!! ::eek:

Marcia: In our immediate aread we got 2-3" of the WHITE STUFF last night. It's Sunny and BRIGHT out there again. Can't see the grass like you could just yesterday. Further South and close to the Toledo,OHIO line they got 6-8" last night. So we aren't too bad off up here. I just want it to STOP already. This should melt off real soon, because they say we are going to be in the 40's next week.

Managed to buy some clothes for our Florida Vacation yesterday. Amazing how nothing fits or looks good from last year!! I can only hope that I'll SHRINK and LOOSE some weight this Summer and be able to Sh*t-Can these clothes to the Salvation Army. It'll be worth the expense!! :girly(td)[/size]

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter tomorrow. Don't over eat on the ham and goodies.

SAN: Any updates on Nadine from Hugh?? Hope the Hospital bed makes things easier for both of them. If they've been talking to the Hospice group they're in good hands. That organization is wonderful from what some of our friends have told us.

My friend who just lost her Husband went to make arrangements at a funeral home close to their house and said that from the minute they went in the people there were only concerned about "DOLLARS". They showed no sympathy or compassion for her or the family. They ended up walking out and going to another place that most of our group uses. She said it will cost her more money, but at least they CARED about their feelings. This lady, Donna, owns her own business and has to be nice to people all day and all the time and she said that "just this once" she wanted someone to be nice to her and she couldn't believe how little they really cared about the grieving family. I'm so glad she's strong enough to know to just get up and walk out. Just had to share that with you all on here.

Thats terrible about the funeral home concerned about the money.........heartless is more like it................glad she walked out.....


There you go again with that term I never heard of sh*t- can...........anyone else hear of it or am I just outta the loop??

Here's one explaination of Sh*t-Can that I found online:

Don't think it was that army....the Serbian Army only has a one person force...and she is a 350lb woman with a Roy Rogers cap pistol.....but, then again, she may talk to herself.
