PH - Mango's is fine...unless you prefer Ay Jalisco - I did notice that the other Mexican restaurant north of it was closed, so maybe that was the one you were thinking about. I take lunch at 1:00 and would be there shortly after. Just let me know.

Watching AI and getting ready to tape Big Brother. Can't get into DWTS until there are only 5-6 couples...too much time watching dancing :

ok you have me curious whats this about kids in the dining room and pirates,. the dining room is for eating period!!! My kids would never even think of showing up in a dining room anywhere as a pirate... I wil have to add my 2 cents... They can be a handful but they know when to sit and behave and if i ask them to do something that i know is beyond them than it is my fault (like sitting at a long meal when and expecting them to behave well after is a resonable time) then yelling at them in a loud obnoxious voice is also wrong becaseu it is not here fault it is mine as the adult...(i have a freind who punished her 2 yr ild for getting up in the middle of the night going into the garage and spilling bleach. I was like she should be on her knees thanking god nothing else happened getting out to the busy road they live on, poising or blinding them selves etc...the baby was 2 and had a hisory of getting up at night she just let hm wander and kept sleeping saying i"i am not getting up he is just bad" needless to say we are no longer friends..)That ranks up there with parents who allow there kids to walk around in public on a day other than halloween in a costume..... the other day we were at dinner at red lobster and next to us was a family with 2 boys just like us and one was speiderman complete with a web launcher and the other was a pirate with a sword.. my boys had eyes the size of suacers at that they could not get over it and they weren;t babies they were like my boys age.....
Ok so I had to not tape NCIS so i could tape stuff (sigh) even with a DVR i am an addict.. I cant imagine my life without the DVR..... I am also taping something called what would you do on ABC..... sounds interestiing.....
enjoy lunch ladies... wish i was there tomorrow is taco salad day YUCK!! maybe i will go ahead and call in sick..... HA!!!!

Ruttie - are you back at work? How's your school system handling the "budget crisis?" We've had a hiring freeze on instructional since January - the "97" day point, and non-instructional since the beginning of March. Waiting to see what units will be approved for the 2008-09 staffing plan...We've cancelled all our recruitment trips, in-state and out-of-state, and our instructional job fair. We'll see what shakes down.

I will have to go back to the classroom nexy year no biggie it will be 2nd grade so no testing =docdance
We are having a "bog" meeting next monday at our school I am sure it is gonna be about all Annual contract teeachers even if they are on there 3rd year will not be able to be rehired like in the past before end of school they will have to wait untill all the movment of "tenured" teachers are moved... a school down the road from me has to shift 8 tenured teachers they are NOT happy so we will probobly getthem and that does not look good for some of our AC teachers...
Plus they are cutting summer school no enrichment classes in the past a firend and i have done enrichment science and art with writing as the focus... for 3rd going to 4th grade it gave us extra money and hepled prepare the incoming 4th for writing fcat.. NOW that will be cut but no big deal....
plus summer school for femediation becasue of failure of FCAT wil not be at every school it will onl be at 1 school in an area filled to max all other schools will be shut down totally for 2 weeks except office and that willonly have lights, internet and AC set from district for certain hrs....

Would you believe that Hamilton City Schools are building 8 brand new elementary schools........ First 4 have been started and 4 more will start soon. They will replace the 13 in use now..... They built a new Freshman School a couple of years ago, and refurbished two Middle Schools and the High School. $$$$$$$$ Most of the money is coming from the state. It will be interesting.....

Chips, salsa, lunch and gossip was all good. Had to get PH's opinion of Freedom of the Seas, as that will have to be our next conquest next year. If you really need to know, we talked of fleas, ticks, and all sorts of fun stuff
