[size=medium]Thanks for the info on the Squirrels PH. Just another GOOD REASON for me to get some type of weapon and get rid of that Rodent this year. I'd have to do it when Art is on one of his long bike rides out of town. He's such a nature lover that he'd NEVER hurt that beast!!

Glad you girls had a good lunch! I thought my ears were burning during the day!! :girly

SAN: Hope you had fun with the little guy. Well.........maybe NOT so little anymore. Time for a new "Baby" to come into that family of yours. Heck they're all moved into their homes and have you and Nancy as close by babysitters (HEE HEE) so tell them to get busy. :cool:

Off to get some coffee. I've been trying to get off this computer for over a hour now.

I remember that first meeting at Olive Garden too. Who would ever have thought that would be the start of a long friendship?

San - So how's the little guy these days? You teaching him any new tricks to make him a chick magnet?

We took Joseph to a marina and marine sanctuary in Moss Landing. He got to see the sea lions and other wildlife. Then we took him to a slough that is a sanctuary, so he got to walk around. He does get a lot of smiles from people he comes in contact with....he just seems to expect that perfect strangers will like him.......he gets what he expects....it's something to watch...he also has a little girlfriend at day care....hugs her when he leaves. We also took him by a train depot....he got to meet a real live freight conductor and walk around the big locomotives....he was a little afraid at first, but quickly got over it.

Yes, I am a slacker PH. I still ned to reinstall my camera software. I'll get to it sooner or later.

You were sincere wonderful friends to her and I know she knew that right up until the end. May she rest in peace. Take care these next few days.[/size]

weather here in Michigan,,,,,,,but it's FRIG'ing SNOWING here right now. All WHITE outside on the
trees and grass. So far the streets, driveway, sidewalks are just wet. They said we might get 3" in
this area by morning. Yesterday they said it might be 1 - 3 inches. Wish they'd make up their minds.

We had leftover BEAN/ham soup that I had frozen. YUMMO!! [/size]

San - Once again, prayers need for our little group. You and Nancy are in our thoughts. We should all have friends like you.

Kathie - did you know that snow is the best remedy for ticks on squirrels. You should be thanking the snow gods for keeping the ticks to a minimum. :lol

Thanks for all your well wishes. We visited the family this afternoon. I think that they are kind of in the numb stage which is understandable.

Quick hello.........headed out soon,I hope..

Last night when I went to take Dennis to his truck,my car wouldnt start ..had to call his dad to come and get him.....

I have been phone shopping for a new battery.....of course,mine isnt the kind that is in stock,but can be for a price.. (ship it in)...anyway, called the Jeep dealer and they have one........so now I am waiting for AAA to come tow me there........they asked if I wanted to be towed or jumped.They need to know cuz it would be 2 different trucks...........said towed cuz if the jump didnt take,I'd have to wait for the another truck............so thats my exciting morning.

Back later..........hoping its only the battery..



UPDATE.just got a recorded call from AAA...............truck is about 20 mins away......so I better get ready...

K-2, just had a call from Lake George, and they have 5 inches of new snow on top of what they already had..... And the
Lake is still solid ice.......

PH, glad you got the battery for your Jeep.....

You guys have had enough winter............enough is enough.............

I just bought stuff to grill burgers tomorrow...........after Dennis cleans the carpet,its gonna be a lay by the pool day............

Personally, I think that everyone that lives in the north should sacrifice their snow to McComb, Michigan. It's much better to have only one person complaining about winter than have everyone have to do it.

Marcia: I bet that it would be pretty to look out over the lake with all that snow coming down!! Actually, maybe it's just better to do a visual in your head instead. Hope you and Carl get to go up there again this Summer. I have to get Art to drive out to Holland during the nice weather this year. He can ride his bike around and I can walk the beach. I'll have to look for some rentals online.

SAN: Have you heard or talked to Hugh today? I take it Nadine was cremated? Just can't get into that one myself.

PQ: Where have you been lately?? Busy Busy I suppose.

It's Sunny and creeping into the 40 [small]o[/small] range right now. We see GRASS AGAIN! (tu)

I really need to get the suitcases up and start putting things out in the spare bedroom. This will be a
no-brainer this year, since we're only going for 9 days. Think I'll get the Tennis Shoes out of the garage
and throw them in the washer and get them clean. Just have to make sure to have comfortable shoes
while walking around Disney and those other parks.

Looks like I'm the only one taking off in April according to our List that GM sent out. Negcs are leaving on
the 31st of March.

SAN: Any plans for the weekend?? Make sure you keep in touch with Hugh. He still needs you guys to
lean on during this time.

Enjoying the great temperatures today. Took Brandy to the dog park then gave her a bath... Gary watered all our plants while I read magazines by pool.

Also, went to Sam's club and picked up some food. Oops, Gary needs me outside, should be back later.
