No turkeys here...just been as busy as a bee.
San - Hospice is a great organization...whenever I've had friends that have come in contact with the organization, they've only had the best things to say. Sounds like your children are also taking it hard.

Kathie - Ham was the meal of the day...Mom came up from Dunedin for the weekend. Had slow cooker chicken on Friday, Prime Rib last night and ham this afternoon.

Kids have been working for the last week solid, which is good because it was really slow and they were considering looking elsewhere (other than horse hauling), maybe food, etc. But it's picked up...They stopped by and I had to-go plates for them with the ham, sides, rolls and dessert. They were actually going to be able to sleep in their own bed tonight, and then off tomorrow north to Savannah.

Beautiful weather today, somewhere around the low 80's - was really dreary yesterday though.

Chilly day here........I got quite a shock when I let the dogs out...........I didnt expect that...........its 54 but no sun in sight........

It's SUNNY and Chilly here today. In the 35-40 range. But NO SNOW so far.

I keep looking at the clock knowing my dear friend is just getting to the funeral home with the family. SAD DAY....Long Day for them. We'll be there around 6 pm. Service is at 7 pm.

The MAYOR of Detroit got prosocuted (sp?) today. 12 counts of abstruction and purgery of justice. He got caught running around with his co-chief of staff and lied about firing whistle blowing cops for telling on him. He still won't step down even after all that went on today. He's going to get finger printed and charged in court later today. I'm sure it will be on CNN News because we saw their camera there at the announcement.
