Man, I am stuffed! Just finished peppers, onion & sausage sandwiches, pasta salad and corn on the cob. Now it's time to hunker down to watch some football. Hey, Gordon - I'm actually going to cheer for FSU tonight!!! I want them to be ranked higher when we kick their butts come November!

Matt left around 6:30 and it made me very sad.. Who knows when I'll see him again............I sure miss seeing MY family more...........

Totally shocked me to see you on here so early, PH. I definitely can relate to not knowing when you're going to see your child again. I feel the same way about Missy and company. At least I do get to talk to her a few times each week, so that helps.

Gordon - I agree about not being able to stand either of those teams. FSU dropped off the rankings and Miami is ranked #20. I'm sure that will all change during the course of the season.

Just found a weird looking caterpillar on the side of my house...........looked it up and its a Monarch butterfly in the making!! How cool is that?? I think its making its crysallis there cuz it has green gunk around it........

And I say thank goodness for AT&T rollover minutes. I have so many right now that I could talk for 24 hours straight without running out of minutes. Of course, the phone would go dead long before that!

I love when I don't even have to leave the house to spend a lot of money!!! Our landscaper is doing the finishing and sodding around the pool next door. Just had him give us a price to do some work behind out house. He'll do it next week. Yippy!!! I've only been after Bert to do some landscaping in the yard since we moved in. My persistence has finally paid off!:clap:

Cool critter you have there, PH. We used to get the caterpillars for painted lady butterflies in the spring. I built a house for them, so the kids could watch the transformation. Then we would release them into our school's butterfly garden. Of course, that was done back in the days when teachers could actually TEACH and not spend all their time preping the kids for FCAT.

I,too,remember when we would do the butterfly house while I worked at Wyomina..........very interesting for the kids and adults!!

How would 4-4:30 at Harry's work for you on Sunday? That way Dennis would get to bed early enough and we wouldn't be driving home too late.

Dinner at Ale House was good, but they didn't have the special you got last weekend. We had ribs instead and they were soooo good.

anyway, Sunday will be fine at that time............Dennis wont have to go to bed till maybe 7ish or a little later.........will be getting up at 2ish......so we shall see you...you can call us about 30-45 mins or so before you get there..UNLESS you want to set a definite time........

Good morning! Everyone in this neighborhood must be trying to get things done early today before the rains possibly move in again. I have been listening to lawn mowers and weed wackers since before 8! Enough already!!!

Very difficult day today. Always that "Where were you when you heard?" A day we'll never forget.

I was working in my kindergarten classroom........didnt know anything till about 11.........I left the room to use the bathroom when i saw some parents coming to pick up their kids.............thats when we learned about it.

I had just turned onto Pine heading to get a perm when I turned the radio on and heard the news. Beautician had TV on. I don't think we said 10 words to each other the entire time I was there. I was getting the perm in anticipation of our Med cruise a week later. We ended up canceling the cruise and decided to do the Northern Europe one a year later. That's the one that got us to meet (remember you telling me to go to Burdine's for the great sales they were having?), so some good indirectly came out of that terrible day.

Time to get dressed. I've been goofing off long enough now!
