Wonder what Rita and Bill are up to?? Ok,I just looked.......Current position of GTS Jewel of the Seas: Under way from Cherbourg to Cobh (Cork) headed to Ireland..........maybe she'll get to post after they leave land and head across the ocean...

Think I might go to Sams today to get burgers.....and maybe a few other things...........Dennis is in St Augustine and J-Ville..................he hopes they send him to the port(Savannah) before he comes home...........no loads for Monday........that sucks..........

Good morning PH and anyone else who happens to stop by. Happy long weekend to everyone!!
No family coming over this weekend. How's that for a shock? Gary's going to Canada to visit a friend until Tuesday. Kris is spending a lot of time with her family. That leaves Bert and I on our own for a holiday weekend. First time that has ever happened!
We're going to Laurie's tomorrow for their party, but have no plans beyond that. I should have booked a cruise for this weekend!:duh:
Better see about making the stuff I have to bring to Laurie's. Besides, Bert's standing over my shoulder reading what I type!:spyglass:

Home from shopping...........ran into Sue AGAIN!!! haha..at Sams........she was looking at those HUGE boneless pork tenderloins($1.38 a pound!!).....so I wound up getting one and she told me the butcher would cut it up the way I wanted it.........so outta the 8 pounds of meant,I got 2 roasts, and 13 one inch(I like em thick) chops...........all for $10!!! Whatta deal..........got my burgers too.........the fresh ones.........
then to Wally World for a few more things..............now Im home and waiting for Dennis....he'll be home around 4:30..........

Had dinner at the Grill. While we were there the heavens opened up and it poured. By the time we left, rain was only drizzle. Now we just have one of those awesome light shows going on in the sky.
Might have to send Bert to Sam's on Sunday to check out that pork. Definitely one of my favorites.
I doubt I'll get a chance to get on here tomorrow. We're heading for Ocala around 10. Then tomorrow evening we have a life again ... GATOR GAME!!!

Morning! Sorry I didn't get to answer your email about meeting up for a drink, PH. I just saw it this morning.
We had a lot of fun at Laurie & Ron's yesterday. Ate way too much. Headed for home shortly after 5, so we could watch most of the football game at home. Figured out that, if we had gone to the game, we wouldn't have gotten home until between 1 & 2 AM! That wasn't going to happen.
Not much planned for today. Actually both today & tomorrow should be pretty quiet around here.
Your pork & sauerkraut sounds yummy!

I'll have you all know I watched the Gator game at the Ale House last night..... I'm so proud of you, PH! :thumbup: First it was drinking red wine and now it's watching Gator games
Glad you were able to see the game up your way, Gordon. I think next week's game is televised too, but I don't know what station yet. Usually the first 2 games were pay per views, but this year I think everything is going to be televised.
I watched the last quarter of the game again this morning and guess what? Gators still won!!:clap::boogie:

I remember many a lunch at RT or Sam Snead where your drink of choice was white zin. Then it was time to move up to White Merlot. Remember how we used to clean Publix out of it when they had the $2.00 off coupons? They couldn't keep it in stock!!! LOL

Good morning! Looks like a beautiful day out there. I hope the rains stay away for a change.
Just as we were ready to head for the Grill yesterday, the heavens opened up. That was bad enough. Throw in lots of thunder and lightening, and we decided to stay home.
Today they have a DJ at the pool and are doing BBQ chicken at the Grill. They can keep the chicken, but we probably will stop by for a while early this afternoon.
PH - We're probably going to be heading up to Ocala again within the next week or so. We have to bring an umbrella and stand up to Laurie. Maybe we can manage to get together for a drink or dinner. I need a Harry's fix!!!! I'll let you know when we're coming.
