PH - You're right about the thin ones. Sort of half way between a pancake and a crepe. It took me a while to get the consistency correct. I just kept adding more milk. Last one came out perfect.

Did you see over on CC that someone has already been contacted about going on a 2 day pre-inaugural on Oasis? Poor thing had to turn it down due to taking care of her Mom that weekend. She's D+, but I don't know how many credits she has. Oh, and she is from Miami. Should we keep our fingers crossed? Wouldn't want to have to pay for that ship, but it would be fun to see what she's going to look like when finished.

Made jumbalya (sp?) with sausage and shrimg for dinner with garlic bread. Only downside is that the house now stinks from the garlic!

I saw that and saw she has 27 RCCL cruises(and her last was 2 years ago!!).........of course, that could be anywhere from 27 + credits........someone asked her........Im waiting to see what she says..........wouldnt you just LOVE to go the day after Thanksgiving?? Better yet, the Thanksgiving one!! Yea,sign me up!:clap:

I have no plans to ever book it either,but hey free is for me........

Bert & I are planning to check out the Irish Pub in downtown St. Cloud either for lunch or dinner today. Check it out - http://www.odohertypub.com/ looks like a neat place. I know there's always a crowd there in the evening.

Also have friends stopping by this afternoon. We had picked up a case of Two Buck Chuck for them while we were in NC. Time for them to pay up!!

Was looking at Carnivals website and saw your fav class of ship is going to Alaska next year BB..........the Spirit (rt outta Seattle).......how about that?? That was the only Carnival ship we ever took.............liked it alot..........

Guess with the time difference,Bill and Rita are onboard the JW now getting ready for the ride home............

My son is flying down to FL today.......has a wedding on Friday......he'll spend time in Orlando and Tampa before coming here Sunday and staying till Wed.........time for some mom home cooking..................

Good morning! Should have kept my mouth shut about it being sunny here yesterday. By the time Bert & I were headed out for dinner, it was pouring. Nothing like a half hour drive in torrential rain! Thank goodness by the time we got the restaurant, the rain had let up to a steady drizzle.

That Irish pub was pretty neat. I had corned beef & cabbage (what else?). It was ok, but not up to my standards ... cabbage wasn't cooked enough and I thought the corned beef was very salty. Bert had lamb skanks and they were delicious. We stayed and played trivia. Boy, did we feel stupid! :duh: Even gave you choice of 3 answers and we still were missing over 50%. It was fun though and we would definitely go back there again.

Now I've got to get my fanny in gear. We're heading for B B & B to find a housewarming gift for Laurie & Ron. They're having a small gathering on Saturday. I also have to find a housewarming gift for Addie. I'm thinking table & chairs for her spot in the kitchen.

Funny you should mention making turkey yesterday. Once we get home, I have to stick a turkey breast in the oven for tonight. G&K are coming over. The turkey breast is too big for just Bert & I, so I had to issue an invitation to the other crew!

Better get a move on before you-know-who comes looking for me!

I think Publix still has those turkey breasts of .99 a lb...may have to pick one up today..all the talk about turkey has got me craving turkey & cranberry sauce...

I grabbed about 5 of those turkeys while on sale(not sure they still have it) and got a raincheck for when i need more...............thing is,I think by November, turkey will be the LAST thing I will want to eat at Thanksgiving.........

Matt wants me to make shepherds pie(he always wants that when hes home) and to have burgers on the grill with cheddar cheese..............and of course,Key Lime Pie from Publix and plenty of Diet Coke......oh yea and all he wants for breakfast is :banana::banana:

Ohoh...........just looked ...........its raining...........should of taken the dogs out...........havent been since we got up...........

I should have known better! Just like you should never go food shopping on an empty stomach, you should never go to B B & B when you're in buying mode! Got Laurie & Ron's gift with my 20% off card. Then spent another $100. on candles, paper towel holder, a slicing gizmo, potpourri. Ahhh ... That was not supposed to happen!!!!

Turkey is just starting to smell. It's only been in the over a little over an hour. Sent Bert to get something for dessert. Just don't feel like making something creative this afternoon.

Hit some heavy rain coming home before, but now it's just cloudy.

I guess San doesn't love us anymore. He doesn't even stop by to say hello. I just don't know what is wrong with my brother these days! I hope I don't have to go to California and kick his butt, or better still -

Sun's shining here now, so Matt should be ok, if it stays this way.

You must remember San. He used to post here all the time and was a lot of fun to be around or chatting with. Then he reached a certain age and POOF! it was all over. Now the poor man wanders around posting here and there, but can't find his way back home. It's sad really ... I hear he has to wear a name tag with his name and phone number on it, so the family knows where he is.

Finally got my docs today. I had to call yesterday to find out where they were.

Hello everyone.

Great weather this week in Atlanta. Stayed in the 70's the past two days. Starting to feel like Fall and I'm ready. Actually past ready.

Kathy, you have me hungry with all that talk about food. Especially the Key Lime pie from Publix. Love those things.
