Turkey is almost finished and it smells so good in the house. Just have to fix the veggies and we'll be good to go. The moochers will be here around 7, so I still have time.

never made it to Publix...it was just to rainy & nasty..so just came home...maybe they will have the turkey on sale again soon..
gordon, would love to have some of that 70 degree weather...the rain here makes it look chilly..but when you go outside you still get blasted by the heat..

about this place I saw on a Samantha Brown show yesterday.......she did a weekend in Orlando(non parks style)..........anyway,she went to this wine bar in Winter park...looks pretty cool..........you can sample 100s of wine.........its self serve.You laod money onto a card and swipe for each sample you want.

Good morning! Thank you for asking about my allergies, PH. They seem to have improved greatly since the weekend. For some reason, they always get worse over the weekend. I wonder why that happens????:duh:
Need to head for Target today to see if I can find something for Addie. I'm thinking table and chairs, but who knows ... If I see something else that I think she can use, I'll go for it. Also need to hit Publix for fixings for an antipasto salad I'm bringing to Laurie's on Saturday. Also need to pick up some wine for Saturday, as they don't drink wine.
I read an article about that place to taste wine. Looks good, but I think your bill could mount up in a hurry, if you're not careful. Being able to help yourself isn't always a good thing!

Besides the antipasto salad, I have to make my world famous NY onion sauce for the hot dogs.

Did some food shopping(ran into Sue there)at Publix........still need to go to Sams for burgers.............I didnt see any Key Lime Pie.........I asked if they would have some for Sunday.......can you believe there is a RECALL on the whipped topping part of it?? She said they did have plain ones that I could get and she said she could put butter cream on it.YUCKITY YUCK......told her I'd just get Cool Whip or even Reddi Whip for it............BUTTERCREAM on Key Lime?? Barf!
Had a roast beef sub for lunch.......yummy......always get 2 jalapenos on it.....haha

Why don't you just make your own key lime pie? It's so easy ... bottle of key lime juice, sweetened condensed milk, graham cracher crust and VOILA! You have a homemade key lime pie. The recipe is right on the bottle of key lime juice.
Went to Target, but didn't find anything we wanted, so we headed for Toys R Us. Major mistake! Just like going to BB&B for grownups. Toys R Us is Nirvana for kids and grandparents looking to spoil grandkids. Got Addie a Disney princesses table and chairs, a big princess ball for out in the yard, plus coloring book, crayons, and other artsie type stuff for her to use at her new table.
