Great seeing you guys again too. Definitely need to make these get togethers happen more often. We weren't kidding about you boarding the dogs for a weekend and you coming down to stay with us. We could even go to Bahama Breeze!!!! Think about it.

Drive home was uneventful which means no rain!!! Time to see what's going on with the football game and then call it a night. See ya tomorrow.

Called C&A. There are 9 JS, 1 GS & 1 FS. Gal said they haven't gotten the word to start upgrading, but that we are on the list. Oh well ... Guess we're waiting again!:whistle:

Been looking at the Dream...............some good prices.......did you see they have Cove balconies?? They are on deck 2!! Only thing is that deck is under all public areas so it might get noisy in your cabin............

Good Morning

Yep, still here. Just been busy with company---cleaning house--then cleaning after they left. Talked to Gordon I believe Friday, and he had gotten some shots in his knee, and if it isn't better today, he will need to go back in.
We like RCCL better, but, I would not mind going on some of the newer Carnival ships. We have sailed with Carnival 28 times, so, we definitely like them also. Pt Canaveral is just so easy for us. I just don't like the older ships they have because they can look run down especially on the outside. I think Carnival Liberty looks nice so, we may do it some day and , the Dream might be on our agenda some day also.
Well, I think I will go check our some other boards! Have a great day!

We cruised Carnival(Spirit) once and really liked it.....ONLY reason I stuck with RCCL later ,was for the perks............now that doesnt seem as important to us,so we are looking around...........

Love going outta Pt Canaveral......so the Dream came to mind............

We cruised on the Miracle and loved the layout also, just got a little tired of the decor by the end of the week, and the dining room was way over the top, but, love the Spirit class. Not so crazy about Conquest and Destiny class though. But, we will definitely cruise on Carnival again.

Been on the Pride & the Miracle. They definitely are my favorite Carnival ships. The Spirit class is just so easy to navigate, as opposed to some of the others. We too are looking at the Dream, I'd love to go over to the port to get a look at her when she comes in or sails out for the first time.

The decor of a ship doesn't impact how I feel about a ship one bit. First cruise was on the Carnival Holiday (the old bunny of their fleet today!). They had statues in different areas and on bar stools. They were too funny. So many people thought they were tacky, but we thought they were fun. I like quirky stiff like that. Isn't it EN that has the bronze looking statue of a guy sleeping in a chair with a newspaper over his face? First time I saw that one, I thought it was a real person!!! Cracks me up every time I see it.
